When thinking of a way to round off her team, Tanya wanted something she would actually want to use. Sure she could use ground pokemon to deal with electric pokemon, but she didn't really know of any pokemon of that type she wanted to use that would balance out her team. On the flipside though, she did want to use an electric type pokemon. They just seemed like a type Tanya could have a lot of fun with.
Heading to the plains, she marveled at all of the lightning rods that were erected around the area. Shaking her head though, she reminded herself that she came to the area for pokemon. Specificly, electric pokemon. She therefore set off, hoping to encounter something in the area.
((Preferred Encounters: Shinx, Pichu))

When she walked along the plains, she actively kept her eyes searching for pokemon. When her eyes landed on a Pichu, who was happily waddling about in the plains, she let out a loud squee of delight. This was her chance to catch a Pichu! It was also super duper cute! She had to catch her. She just had to!
"Christopher! Use Wrap on the Pichu!" Tanya called out, throwing her pokeball to release her Snivy. Quickly running to where the Pichu was, he ensnared the pokemon in his grasp and started to squeeze tightly. Letting out a startled yell, the Pichu started charging up electricity in her cheeks and then released it in a lightning bolt that shocked Christopher slightly. Luckily for him, he was able to shrug off the damage.
"Attach your Leech Seeds onto the enemy!" Tanya commanded. Due to still being wrapped up, Christopher started to spit out seeds from his mouth which attached to the Pichu and started to grow out into vines that further restricted the mouse pokemon. Continuing to struggle, electricity formed in his cheeks as he sent out a weak jolt into the Snivy, paralyzing its movements.
"Heal yourself with Aromatherapy!" Tanya yelled, chewing her lip as she waited for the match to continue. Chrsitopher closed his eyes as he radiated a green and yellow powder that flew through the air. It allowed him to get over his paralysis and he continued to ensnare the Pichu. Due to the continuous damage from Leech Seed and Wrap, the Pichu was slowly losing her energy as she tried to attack with another thundershock, which by this point Christopher was able to shrug off.
"Finish off the Pichu with Giga Drain!" Tanya commanded. Christopher began to glow green as tendrils erupted from his body and started to ensnare themselves around Pichu, draining the energy from the pokemon and providing himself with said energy. While Pichu was able to shrug off Christopher's Wrap at this point, the Leech Seed damage started to stack up and she could tell it was on her last legs. Once more, she tried to attack with Thundershock, but the attack proved once again to be practically ineffective against the resistance of Christopher.
"Finish off the Pichu with Giga Drain once again!" Tanya cheered, eagerly anticipating catching the mouse pokemon. For the last time, Christopher started to glow green and shoot out green tendrils that wrapped themselves around Pichu and drained her energy. After letting out one last pitiful cry, the Pichu slumped on the floor, all of its energy expended.
Moving quickly in her bag to reach the academy ball, she threw it at the tiny mouse pokemon, praying that she would succeed in catching the cute electric pokemon.

You strangled it. You leeched it.
Among other things, you also "comfortably encapsulated" it.
If you can live with yourself, deduct one ball from your PC.

When the ball clicked, Tanya jumped into the air and fist-pumped. She did it! She had an entire team. All she needed to do was train them up and she could be ready to go. She was extremely happy about the fact that she got a Pichu, which was one of the pokemon she was aiming for when coming here. Maybe things were really looking up for her after all.
Eager to get ready, she ran across the plains and headed back towards her dorm. She couldn't wait to come up with strategies and techniques to make her pokemon the strongest they could be. All she needed was faith, and she would be able to totally kick ass. At least, that's what she believed.
