Team: Aggron, Breloom, Crocnaw, Growlithe, Larvitar, Kangaskhan
The restricted areas were something just outside of Sonia's reach for a good while during her stay at the academy. But recently with her large strides in power, the girl had a decent team of partially and fully evolved Pokemon. With a team strong enough to match her confidence, the girl decided to tackle one of the easily accessed zones. With a simple waterfall trip up a cave entrance, courtesy of Nestor, Sonia now stood at the mouth of the Dragon's Den, ready to try and find some more additions to her team. Supposedly this place was more dangerous than the others she had visited. Just what made them any worse, anyway? Well, whatever it was that people found so dangerous, Sonia was heading in to deal with them. Looking for, from most wanted to least: Volcarona, Eelektrik

Sonia wandered a little ways into the cave. She did so cautiously, given she had no idea what to expect yet. But she was at least somewhat prepared for it, right? She assumed as much anyway. Being cautious seemed to pay off, too, as she encountered her first target rather quickly after she began searching around. It seemed to be some sort of eel creature. Frankly? It looked kinda cool. Sonia wanted it. The girl scanned through her Pokeballs quickly as she began to decide which Pokemon she wanted to use. It was a quick pick, of course.
Belka, come out and use Stone Edge! This eel looked like a water type to the girl. That meant that ground attacks wouldn't work too well. Making the attack hit, the eel squirmed around a bit before turning back towards Belka. Charging at the little Larvitar, the eel attempted an electric attack, only to find it completely ineffective. Larvitar was a ground type, after all. Nice! Do it again! Belka, having completely nulled the attack, dropped some more rocks on the eel, doing even more damage. Being left with nothing else to use, the eel headbutted Belka. This time, it actually made an impact, despite still being resisted still. Sonia knew that this fight was as good as over now. Belka, finish it off with one last Stone Edge! With the eel completely out of options, Belka jumped above it, sending a large stone down on it. This sent the eel down, where it collapsed without getting up. Easy mode. Wa-haa~ Satisfied, Sonia tossed one of her Pokeballs at the collapsed Pokemon and waited for it to capture.

Sonia smiled with delight when she saw the Pokeball stop moving. Before picking it up, she returned Belka who seemed to take down an evolved Pokemon with little to no problem. Sonia was thoroughly impressed. Picking up the Pokeball, the girl began to wonder about the Pokemon she just caught. Was that really a water type? If so, couldn't it have easily defeated Belka? Shrugging, the girl decided to simply return to her dorm. The capture was made and she was satisfied with that. She could go back and catch more Pokemon another time. For now though, it was time to go back down that waterfall.
