It was a beautiful day out, and Alex decided that she wasn't going to waste time by just sitting around doing nothing. So she took it upon herself to use this day to catch something. In case she was needed she left a note on her door saying where she was, and her contact number right under it. That may have been a bad idea, but she'd deal with the consequences of that later, if it came.
And so she set out, looking for a new addition for the disgruntled group she calls her family. So she did a series of stretches to loosen the tension around her neck and headed out to the entrance of the forest. She grabbed a ball from her bag and out from the Pokeball came a huge hulking Electivire with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Don't give me that look, you know you're not little anymore so I can't always have you out of your Pokeball. We went over this how many times?" He only let out an annoyed growl before she rolled her eyese and went in. She knew it'd probably be a better idea to bring Morrigan with this little expedition, but she also knew Morrigan would probably try to set the entire forest on fire to get it over with. She really needed to do something about that Charizard. So instead, she only brought Nyssa, Ariadne, Alistair, Leliana, and Sten along, as they were least likely to try something stupid.
And so she went through the forest, hoping to find something interesting.

As she walked through the forest she took in the sights. It wasn't her first time here, but she never really paid attention to it. Before she wasn't so hot in going in; it was during the time she wasn't so adjusted to Pokemon so she was frightened. But she was actually able to appreciate her surroundings. The sights, the smells, it was just so...so cozy. If not for the fact that there were was an abundance of Pokemon probably waiting to jump her if they had a chance, she'd probably just find a nice little tree to sit under and just nap. But she knew better than that.
And suddenly Sten tripped. "Pfft...hahahaha, what the hell, Sten?" She said, chuckling all the while. He gave her a nasty look before getting up and wiping off the dirt from his fur. And then suddenly she had tripped despite seeing nothing in front of her previously. Sten just gave her the biggest shit eating grin he could muster. "Har har har," she said, getting up, also getting the dirt off her. She was so glad she decided to go with the black hoodie today, rather than another bright color. And then suddenly something had bounced off the top of her head.
"Okay, something has to be fucking with us," she told Sten. She looked up and couldn't see anything until the troublemaker had decided to finally show itself. It was a Treecko, a small little Treecko that managed to move fast enough to trip both of them in two different instances. It made a "get out" gesture with its 'hands', but Sten would have none of that. Without even getting a command, Sten immediately went in for a Fire Punch. The Treecko, however, managed to detect the Fire Punch coming, and dodge it effortlessly.
She actually felt kind of relieved it was able to dodge it, otherwise that probably would've been overkill. "You know what, return Sten." She said putting him back into his Pokeball and gathering another from her bag. She'd have to apologize to him later. "Yo, Nyssa. Wake up." Out came a little Joltik. "This is still probably unfair, but I'll feel less horrible about this..." She mumbled to herself, while the Jolitk composed itself. The Treecko hadn't hesitated though, and immediately attempted to Energy ball the little thing. Nyssa didn't even bother to dodge it, she just ate the thing.
"Infenstation, Nyssa!" Alex had commanded, and the Joltik complied. The Treecko immediately started to feel the effects of the infestation, and being that it was weak to bugs had it that it hurt a lot more. But it didn't plan on backing down. It went in for a Slam, which the Joltik was lucky enough to dodge. It wouldn't have knocked her out, but that would've been some serious damage wracked on. "Go in with a Bug Buzz!" The little Joltik ran in and made a sound loud enough to send a harmful sound wave to the Treecko. It held its head in pain, trying to get up again while the infestation still ate away at him.
She wanted to end it quickly, prolonging this was basically torture. She threw an empty Pokeball at it, attempting to capture it. She could only hope it worked.
