While her one trip to the cemetery had proven fruitful on two different levels- having allowed her to acquire both a Vulpix and a new by-name acquaintance- there was no denying the fact that Fianna's hunts really did need to be centralized around the Blissfury Plains for a time. It was nearby, allowing for quick and easy access, and it hosted a large number of the things she wanted. She'd already had one success here, as well, so there was definitely a chance at something else nice happening sooner, as opposed to later, in such a place. Just the thoughts of all the fuzzy things that were waiting to join the family made the young woman giddy. It likely would have creeped some people out, if they had any idea of her plans.

”Let's see if we can't find another friend here, shall we?” With Elena in her arms, the girl set forth, hopes high and fuzzbutt nestled against her chest.

The girl and her Eevee-hug-pillow proceeded further through the plains. Time passed. Eventually, Fianna noticed a rather oddly-colored Pokemon. A slight shift, a quick click, and a review of the Pokedex revealed that it was actually a Shinx. However, it was that variety that was considered “Shiny”. While she didn't really care about the color scheme, it was a fuzzy little bugger and one that was on her list of “must-haves”, even before she arrived at the plains that day. So, regardless of the finer details, the girl had every intention to engage that Shinx. Assuming it wouldn't run.

”Just gonna say it once. Please leave unless you're fine with fighting or coming with us.” As she said that, Fianna let down Elena, only to receive an intimidating growl from the Shinx. No intents on leaving, then. The Eevee's offensive stay might have dropped slightly, but they weren't entirely dependent on physical attacks, so that was fine. ”Elena, Trump Card!” The Eevee spit out a card of energy, which exploded on contact with the Shinx. While powerful, it didn't push the Shinx out just yet. In response, the shiny lynx forcefully bit the Eevee. While strong, Elena was still in it.

”Again! Trump Card, Elena!” The next card, doubled in power thanks to Trump Card's unique traits, fired off and exploded upon contact with the Shinx! Again, it withstood the blow, though it was visibly tired. It attempted a bite, aligned with its Electric typing, but the attack wasn't enough to finish off Elena, either. Both the young lady and her Eevee knew that the fight would end in just a moment. Trump Card would be three times its original power, and it wasn't a joke to begin with.

”Let's end it, Elena! Trump Card!” The biggest card yet flew at the Shinx before exploding violently, blowing the Shinx off its feet and rolling onto its side. It was out cold. ”Good job, girl. I know it had to hurt. We'll take care of it after we get back, okay?” With a pet atop the Eevee's head, the girl strode forward and produced an empty ball. ”And as for you, thank you for sticking around, even if you tried to scare us away. I hope you'll enjoy your time with us, Shinx.” Kneeling, she pressed the ball to the Shinx's side, watching as it was drawn in.

”Three for three. Ain't sure if it's luck or if it's that easy. All the same, that's our third new friend from the wild. Thank you for all your hard work, Elena.” The ball had clicked, and Fianna put it away, scooping up the Eevee and cuddling it against her chest. True enough, her fuzzy army was slowly growing. Fortunately, the majority of them hadn't given the girl too much trouble in regards to the captures. At the rate they were going? Elena might have been ready to evolve sooner or later. She planned on getting most of the evolved Eevees, so Elena wasn't the only one, but she was a little eager to see how the Eevee would end up.
