[Lilith Sinclaire]

Lilith stood in front of the Blancblack Manor. The raven-haired trainer had heard many rumors concerning the antique mansion. She wasn't sure if the rumors were actually rumors or if there were some truth within the stories. Either way, she was determined to explore the mysterious house. Her sapphire blue eyes would start at the eerie house standing before her, she was a little distracted by the unearthly glow that seem to engulf the house. Perhaps the source of light was coming from a Pokemon of some sort? Maybe a Ghost Pokemon or Psychic Pokemon. After admiring the outside of the house for a few more minutes, she would finally snap out of her daze and reach into her bag to pull out a flashlight. She would then slowly start to make her way toward into the house. However, before she could even open the door, she felt the presence of something or someone approaching her.

Astrid made her way back towards the old mansion on the island, nervous as the first time she approached it. She didn't really like the place; it was like something out of a horror movie, and she preferred to be on the other side of the screen for those. Besides, it probably had more of those psychic cat things. But, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was still something there that she'd missed. So she approached it again, ready for another misadventure like last time. But to her surprise and fortune, she found someone else standing outside this time.

"Hey," she said, approaching the girl. She was...very pretty, Astrid noted. Which did not help her misgivings at all, but at least Astrid would have company that was easy on the eyes. And at a glance the girl seemed quite a bit more confident than Astrid did. "Are you heading in? Do you mind if I come with you?"

Upon turning around, Lilith's azure orbs quickly fell onto the sight of another female. A relatively pretty and friendly young lady. "Hi." She spoke softly, yet loud enough for Astrid to hear her. "Yeah, I'm going inside to do a little bit of exploring and possibly to catch a new Pokemon for my team. Sure, it would be nice to have a little bit of company tagging along. Plus, this is going to be my first time entering the mansion." She added, her smile starting to widen a bit. It was probably quite obvious that Lilith seem to have been a little excited about exploring the building. She would slowly start to pull her eyes away from Astrid in order to dig into her bag to pull out two flashlights. "It might be a little dark inside, so these will probably become quite useful." She stated handing Astrid a yellow flashlight. She had decided to keep the purple flashlight for herself, seeing that it was her favorite color. "Oh yeah. I'm Lilith." She added introducing herself before turning her attention back onto the mansion. "Now that introductions are over, let's go exploring!" With that Lilith slowly pushed the door open and entered the house. It was a good thing that she had those flashlights in her bag because the house did lack a bit of light. "Ah, this is pretty cool." She whispered, shining her light around the house to scope out their surroundings.

Astrid sighed with relief as the girl accepted. "Thanks," she said, smiling as well. "This actually isn't my first time inside, but the last time didn't go so well. I got lost and started to panic a bit and...it wasn't fun. So it's good to have company this time around." She nodded and accepted the flashlight, then clicked it on. Satisfied with the nice and strong beam it produced, she turned her attention back to the girl. Lilith, apparently. "I'm Astrid. Nice to meet you," she answered.

She followed behind Lilith as she pushed the door open and entered. She didn't quite share Lilith's excitement, but still shone her light around to actually look at her surroundings. Of course, she kept looking into open hallways as well, but not exclusively this time.

After shining her light around the first room for a few seconds, Lilith's sparkling blue eyes would search for a flight of stairs. There wasn't too much going on on the first floor. Therefore, she was even more excited about exploring the upper floors. She was quite confident there that would be something of interest awaiting their arrive. "There doesn't seem to be anything exciting going on down here. Let's check upstairs." She spoke to Astrid, giving her a soft smile before leading them up the spiral staircase.

Once making their way upstairs, Lilith would shine her light around the room to scope out their new environment. There didn't seem to be too much of a different on the second floor, or at least nothing visible to her naked eyes. Within a few seconds scanning around the hallway, Lilith keen eyes quickly capture the sight a shadow approaching them. "Looks like we might have some company." She stated, pointing her light toward the shadow. The strong beam of light quickly revealed the Pokemon heading their way. "Who is that Pokemon?" She thought to herself, taking out her Pokedex to scan the Pokemon that capture her attention. 'Meditite. The Meditate Pokemon. It eats just one berry a day. By enduring hunger, its spirit is tempered and made sharper.' A expression of interest soon curved against Lilith's lips, as she continued to stare at the Meditite, who had now started to levitate in midair due to mediating. It wasn't too long other that the unique Pokemon's body started to glow a mystical blue hue, while meditating even more. The Pokemon appeared to have been using Calm Mind. "If it's a challenge you want then it's a challenge you shall get!" She stated, taking a Pokeball from around her waist and releasing her trusty, Espurr, Bellatrix. "Bellatrix, use Disarming Voice!" The Espurr's massives eyes glowed a rosy-pink hue as she released a charming charm to inflict damage onto her foe. The attack was super effective. However, due to the foe's boosted Special Defense status, the attack only managed to do half of the damage that it probably should have should have dealt on the Meditite.

After withstanding the attack, the Meditite would fight back with a Force Palm. "Bellatrix, you can tank that attack!" Lilith assured her Pokemon. The Espurr took a low blow in the stomach and stood her ground. Luckily, the attack wasn't super effective and only managed to shove her back just a few inches. "Now, fight back with Psyshock!" She figured that since their special attack wouldn't deal to much damage at the moment, then they would use a attack that inflict physical damage. The Espurr created odd psychic waves to inflict damage onto the foe. Surely enough, the attack seem to have done a little more damage than the previous Special Attack. The foe appeared to have been weakling, however, the clever Pokemon quickly used a Recover attack to restore some of her health. "Alright, this is going to be a little more of a challenge, but we can do this! Psyshock again!" She ordered out loud. The Espurr quickly attacked the Meditite with another Psyshock, inflicting a decent amount of damage to her body, once again. Luckily, the opponent did not use Recover again. Instead, the Pokemon used her psychic powers to switch her attack status with her defense status by using Power Trick. "Bellatrix, let's take advantage of own move, use Psyshock once more!" The psychic cat-like Pokemon swiftly attack the foe with another wave of psychic energy, weakening her opponent even more. Lilith would probably take out an empty Pokeball to toss it at the Meditite before she had a chance to use Recover. Hopefully, Bellatrix had managed to weaken the Pokemon enough for her trainer to capture it.

Straight for the stairs, huh? Well, at least Astrid would know that she was going upstairs this time. The last time...no, she wasn't going to think too much about that. She nodded, following Lilith up the spiral staircase. Once they got to the end, Astrid shone her own light as well, checking in nearby rooms for anything of interest. And also to keep from being surprised by anything. The last thing she wanted was to be startled by some small and ultimately non-threatening Pokemon. That would just be an embarrassment and a half.

She turned her attention back to the hallway as Lilith mentioned having company. Astrid turned, catching sight of a silhouette approaching out of the darkness. Another one seemed to lurk nearby, but as Lilith swept her light over the approaching shadow, Astrid managed to catch a glimpse of the second one, and sighed with relief upon realizing that it was just an old computer. "Wait," she said, skirting around the Meditite and the Pokemon Lilith sent out to fight it. "You have fun with that guy, I just found something interesting." It looked like...yes, yes it was! It was one of the earliest models of home computer ever to hit the market. Astrid hadn't even realized that they still existed. Something still wasn't right about it though. Sure, the model was now over forty years old, but the house had been abandoned for over twice that.

How did this get here, then?

As if to answer Astrid's thoughts, the computer monitor soon flickered to life, and a polygon construct emerged from it. It walked on air with blocky feet, then drifted down to rest on the ground in front of Astrid. Her Pokedex identified it as a Porygon: an artificial Pokemon made from programming. "I see...did you bring that with you when you moved in?" Astrid guessed. Instead of answering, however, the Porygon's eyes flickered and, after what looked like a loading bar appeared and disappeared on its body, it started moving much faster. "Suit yourself. Ollie, come out and give me a hand!" Astrid threw out an Academy Ball, and her Scraggy materialized on the ground in front of the Porygon.

"Hit it with Crunch!" Astrid called out. Ollie lunged at the Porygon, trying her best to look menacing before opening wide and biting down on it. She quickly recoiled away from the strange but definitely solid surface of the polygon construct. But despite Ollie's reaction, pixelated bite marks appeared on it, so the attack had definitely done some damage. The Porygon countered with a multicolored beam of light, striking the Scraggy barely. Were it not for her considerable bulk, the attack might have done serious damage. But fortunately, Ollie managed to shrug it off. "Try Low Kick now!" Astrid suggested. Ollie nodded and dropped to the ground, striking the Porygon's blocky feet with a sweeping kick. The Porygon flipped over from the force of the kick, and suspended itself in the air upside down. It countered with another bright, multicolored beam of light, which Ollie still managed to withstand. "Still hanging in there?" Astrid asked. Ollie nodded. "Okay, good. Let's finish this with one more Low Kick!" Again, Ollie went for the low, sweeping kick, but in the Porygon's current inverted state, it ended up hitting it square in the head. Again, it flipped over, then collapsed to the ground. Astrid took the chance to throw an Academy Ball to hopefully catch it.
