[Seria Floria]

Seria returned to this area again not in search of fossils and things to mine, but instead she was actually looking for Pokemon. It was a dark cave, to say the least, but she wondered who was going to show up in this cave. She kept all of her Pokemon inside Pokeballs for this exploration, because it was quite dark and she didn't have any Pokemon that could make the area slightly brighter, aside from perhaps her newly caught Rapidash. However, she didn't consider this course of action at the end of the day and decided to leave the Rapidash behind at the P.C for now. Meanwhile, she looked around and tried to see if there was anything interesting such as an interesting Pokemon or some jewels or ores or other rocks.

Seria kept on exploring and soon happened upon a distinct Pokemon that had a rock-hard red shell. It was, of course, a Shuckle. It had a monstrous defense and it would serve as a good Pokemon in more serious engagements with the right strategy. Seria grinned and soon called out for the services of G.S.D, bringing out the Slowpoke. The Slowpoke lazily popped out of the Pokeball and soon stared hard at the Shuckle, who looked back at the Slowpoke quizzically. "Alright, G.S.D, use Scald on the Shuckle!" The Slowpoke soon gurgled and spat a steady stream of hot water at the Shuckle, which he was weak to of course, but thanks to the bug's incredible defense, it practically didn't do too much. Fortunately, the Scald seemed to have planted burns on the Shuckle, which would do residual damage. The Shuckle responded by slamming the ground so rocks fell on the Slowpoke.

Now, Shuckle's offensive capabilities were very undesirable, and so the rocks that fell weren't very big. G.S.D shook that attack off with relative ease. The burns meanwhile still ticked. "Again, with Scald!" Seria called out and the Slowpoke did shoot out some more hot water, which seared through the Shuckle's hard shell. It obviously hurt, but the damage was still regrettably minimal. The little bug responded by pathetically flailing about again and calling rocks down on G.S.D again. Once more, the attack wasn't very strong. The burns persisted and dealt damage that ignored the Shuckle's strong defenses.

"Scald once more, G.S.D!" Seria commanded as the Slowpoke nodded off and gargled, spitting some more hot water at the poor Shuckle, who must probably be verily annoyed right now. The burns persisting didn't help, but the amount of water pelted at him must have eventually taken its toll on him as the Shuckle collapsed on itself and looked ripe for the taking. Seria took an Academy Ball and lobbed it at the Shuckle.

Seria's smile wavered and looked a bit goofy as she saw the Shuckle break free of the ball. Now fully aware of the situation, the Shuckle spat out webbing at the ground which made G.S.D even slower than he already was. "Scald again! Keep on expelling water at that thing until it can't move anymore. So I can get it, yeah?" Seria called out as the Slowpoke looked at the ground and then gurgled, shooting more scalding hot water at the Shuckle. At this point, Seria wasn't sure if the rock bug was even close to fainting. The Shuckle responded by attempting to slither away and drop even more rocks at G.S.D. Seria wasn't having any of that though. The Slowpoke shrugged off the rocks and soon Seria commanded him to shoot Scald for a fifth time.

This was really getting old.

The Slowpoke spat the water at the Shuckle who Seria wasn't sure was retreating or just repositioning himself. The damage was getting harder and better, at least that's what Seria's tunnel vision was telling her. Yet the Shuckle still stood and was still moving. In fact, the Shuckle began to feign struggling and now began to call down more rocks with another Rock Slide. The Slowpoke was getting really tired as well, but only because gurgling repeatedly gets old. "For the last time, Scald!" Seria barked.

The Slowpoke continued to spit out the water from his belly, the scalding water splashing even more on the Shuckle, and at this juncture Seria took out another Academy Ball and attempted to capture the Shuckle again.
