This will be just a list of things to know when making a character.
Characters from the Pokemon canon are allowed as face claims. As stated prior, this is an Alt Universe RP meaning everything is free to claim. But please, do not simply reuse the face claim's canon personality, history, or name as well. Be as creative as you would with any normal face claim. This goes the same with any face claim. I would prefer a face claim remains just that; a face. Everything else should be up to your imagination.
Please avoid making Mary Sue characters. No one is perfect. As such, your character should have some sort of flaw. Seriously people. Mary Sues are not welcome here. If you've never heard the term before, Google usually provides a large list of examples and ideas on the matter. And please keep the ultra-dark pasts full of rape, abuse, and/or murder to a minimum. I don't mind the occasional dead parent or dark secret...just try not to go overboard.
One character per account, and the user name for each account must be your character's name. If you decide you don't want a character anymore, then delete the account and make a new one.
Please link your character's profile in your signature after it has been accepted and moved. It makes it easier on everyone if you do so. Please do the same with your P.C. once it has been made as well. Making your P.C. is explained later in the Getting Started section.
Changing your face claim after the character has been accepted is generally not allowed, so, when you make your character, make sure you know for sure who you want to use. However, if you have a really good reason as to why you absolutely must change it, then go ahead and speak to a mod or myself. I might make an exception.
Edits to accepted profiles are not allowed unless approval is given by staff. This is to prevent obvious complications that can arise. We'll be able to see it if you do edit it, of course, so make sure you ask.
Finally, when you make an account, please sign up with your actual birthday, and not your characters'.
