Summer heat wasn't compared enough the mountain's high temperature, but she had been trying to cool herself down. Mostly, the heat was too much of a bother, but she had to put up with it to start hunting for a Druddigon. Ah yes, dragons were especially rare and the pseudo-Legendaries were hard to come across. She wondered if Aero didn't mind the heat since he was a Rock type, but his typing had been proven effective against the Fire types that inhabited this place. Not to mention that his typing was useful against Fire and Flying types since those birds had a crippling weakness to rocks. She released Aero out his Pokeball whom screeched in return. "Come, Aero. Exercise is good for you." He glided alongside her while he was on the lookout for the dragon that his trainer so desired. Maybe that dragon would come, but who knows? They're pretty rare in these parts of the region.
(Druddigon. That's all I ask.)

Wait, what? A Geodude had appeared, but it wasn't the Druddigon that she was looking for. Even so, she already had a Rock type with her and it was a Fossil Pokemon, so there was no need to catch another one. Geodudes were probably the easiest to pick apart, but battling would wait for later. Right now, Aero's sights were set on a Druddigon and that was it. Even if she caught another Rock type, it would be redundant and thusly, not a very good type advantage against other trainers who would mostly catch Grass or Water types. No, another Rock type would out of the question for now. She actually had a team of varying types so as to cover all weaknesses that her team might have at this point.
(Pass on Geodude.)

While Vulpix was good for its Special Attack, Litwick was already a good Fire type to start with. Plus, he had a good Special Attack when he evolves into a Chandelure, so no Vulpix was going to be captured today. Fire foxes were probably fast enough in their own right, but Rock types could actually defeat a Fire type and was probably the last thing they've seen anyway. If there was one thing she learned from her childhood in Johto, same typing was probably not a good idea to expand your team on, especially if anyone would like to do their favorites. Favorites was fine, but the same old types were just redundant for the whole team and plus, varying types were better anyway.
(Pass on Vulpix.)

At last, a Druddigon had appeared though his ability would usually hurt a lot. And also, his Outrage move would most likely hit hard. Yikes. Despite that, a Druddigon could be a good member to add to the team, so she'll have to get to work on fainting him first. "Ice Fang, Aero!" The avian pterodactyl soared at the blue and red dragon and managed to bite him, frost covering his fangs. The Druddigon howled in pain, but then Rough Skin activated, sending Aero in a pained grimace. That didn't look too good, but then there were some shark Pokemon that had this ability too. The red and blue dragon countered with Rock Climb which didn't hit too hard as Aero was part Rock type. "Another Ice Fang, Aero!" Again, the avian pterodactyl managed to bite the dragon again with frost covering his fangs. And Rough Skin activated, sending Aero into pain again. The wild Druddigon used Outrage and a red outline can be seen as he went on a rampage, hurting Aero even more. Even though Aero was battered, he was determined to help his trainer catch the Druddigon. "One more Ice Fang!" Aero divebombed at the rampaging Druddigon and with another bite sending shivers upon the dragon's body, it was the final blow. Druddigon got down on one knee and fell to the ground in a thud, apparently unconscious.
With that done, she proceeded to throw an empty Pokeball at the Druddigon, hoping that this recent capture would actually learn more about the mythical dragon Pokemon of lore. Aero had stopped flying and was sitting on the ground with his wings folded, apparently bruised and battered from the battle.

And apparently, the Pokeball had once again successfully captured a Druddigon. "Good job, Aero. I think you deserve a rest." The avian pterodactyl screeched before looking over at the Pokeball. That Druddigon was going to be a useful battler and would be a master at type coverage. She decided that the Druddigon's name can be Drew, provided that it would at least sound normal like Henry's name. Normal names were somewhat of a rarity due to people naming some of their Pokemon after mythological figures. Well, those names matched, but there was time to ponder that later. Aero would need rest after all and the duo left the mountain with the satisfaction of trying their hardest.
