How to do Nothing (Fishing)

Cameron sat there with his flimsy old rod he purchased from the store. Back in Lavaridge, there wasn't a lot of lakes and stuff for people to go fishing. In fact he only remembers seeing fisherman in Slateport and he wasn't interested in it then either.  So, needless to say Cameron wasn't the most well-versed when it came to fishing. "So the worms go on the hook?" he tried tying the bait to the hook, failing many times but eventually getting the hang of it. "Nice, then I throw it into the water? The line looks rally short though." he noticed. He tried unreeling the line to make it longer and then tossed it into the pier. "I guess I just have to wait now." Holding the rod with one hand he went to tend to his egg. "You gotta be done soon right Chaos Hero? This is starting to get boring." he said to the egg. When the egg didn't give a response he sighed and placed it back in his bag. "Oh my god, fishing is so boring."

He reeled in the line, "Nope, nothing." he noted as he saw the Carvanha gnawing on the hook. "Hold on there lemme help you out." he told the fish Pokemon as he got the hook out of it's mouth. Once the hook left its mouth the Carvanha tried to bite Cameron's finger off. "Woah!" he shouted. The Carvanha bouncing out of his hand and into the water. Glaring daggers at the muscular trainer. "Fine, I was looking for some action anyways." He tossed a pokeball into the air, releasing his Honedge, Bastard. "Alright Bastard, time for a water fight, but I'm sure you can handle it." he cheered on.

"Now, Sacred Sword!"  Cameron ordered. The Honedge's blade began to glow as he dashed towards his marine opponent, performing an upwards strike on the vicious fish Pokemon. The Carvanha, could do nothing about the Super Effective attack and was decisively K.O.'ed by the blade's impressive attack. "Well that was lack luster." Cameron commented. "Oh well." he tossed a pokeball at his opponent. "That was better than sitting around I guess." he said. Hating the easy victory more than the patience fishing required. He once again made for the egg in his bag. "I'm just keeping you nearby. Hopefully you hatch while we walk home so thois day can actually be fun or something." he told the egg.
