Disturbing My Rest pt.2 [Mission - Lilith & Cameron]

Benji let out a loud yawn as he approached the Breeding Center. It wasn't early in the morning, nor late at night, yet he still found himself tired. He'd much rather be taking a nap back at the dorm, but he'd accepted a mission and it was the time to carry it out. When he got to the front of the Breeding Center he didn't go inside just yet, knowing there were two other students supposed to help out. With the information he received he felt he could probably do this on his own, depending on whatever was causing the problem inside. Though more was better, and he had to socialize sooner or later. Letting out another yawn he leaned against the wall, kicking his boot on the ground as he waited for the others.

Current Team: Zorua, Charmander, Absol, Eevee, Pichu

[Lilith Sinclaire]

Lilith carefully made her way toward the Breeding Breed. It was her fight mission and she was slowly starting to feel both excited, yet nervous. Luckily, she wouldn't be taking on the mission by herself. In fact, there would be two other students there to aide her. It wasn't that she didn't think that she could hang the mission by herself. However, it was nice to know that there would be some back up around if things started to become a little more dangerous than plan. Especially, since know of Lilith's Pokemon were fully evolved, and she didn't have any knowledge about just how powerful the Pokemon that were currently causing the trouble would be. Plus, it would be a nice way to befriend a few other students at her school. After finally making it to the Breeding Center, Lilith's sparkling blue eyes locked onto the sight of a dark haired guy, who appeared to have been a member of the Mana Dorm as well. Brushing her petite fingers through her long raven hair, she would flash Benji with an alluring smile. "Hi, I'm Lilith. I'm one of the students, who would be helping you with completing this mission." She stated, holding her hand out for a friendly handshake.

Pokemon Team: Espurr, Vulpix, Snorunt, Sandile, and Meditite.

[Cameron Faulkner]

Cameron walked towards the breeding center, he had accepted another job. The first one went pretty well, he beat up some pokemon, got to pet an Espurr, made some cash, and even got a sick pokemon out of it. Needless to say, he had a pretty good first time with missions, and he hoped this would too. Well, as long as his teammates didn't bail on him like last time. As he got closer to the building he could see two other mana dormers, a guy and a girl. He sighed. They were so scrawny compared to him. Oh well, he wasn't afraid to carry more than his weight. "Hey." he approached with a wave. "So, name's Cameron." He introduced. He caught the He approached the door, opening it and getting ready to walk in. "As much as I'd like to stay with a nice lookin' girl and a third wheel. I do have other stuff to do, so let's try to get this over with fast yea?" He didn't have anything against the two others, but they were literally on a mission. So, if they were to get the mission done first, they'd have all the time in the world.

Your group heads into the breeding center and begins to look for anything suspicious. Given that this is the second instance of an issue in this place, the trouble-makers in question will likely try to escape again. As you open one of the doors to another area, you are immediately swarmed by tons of bug Pokemon! Not only that, it seems that the perpetrators are attempting to escape through the window. You better deal with these Pokemon in here first so they don't cause any damage though.

Well, a swarm of bug pokemon wasn't what he expected to see. He could see that some of them were trying to escape as well "Six huh?" Cameron counted as he noticed the bug pokemon try to flee.  "Let's stop 'em. I'll take the Yanma and Ledyba." he told his teammates as he approached his opponents, producing two balls from his pocket. "Trapez, Sir Bug! Let's get this over with." He announced, tossing the two pokeballs into the air. "Trapez, scorch that Yanma with Flamethrower! Sir Bug, Charge the Ledyba with Double-Edge!" Cameron commanded. The Monferno let loose a powerful stream of flames against the Yanma, scorching it and effectively knocking it out with the one powerful attack. Sir Bug was also on the pursuit, as he rammed his powerful horn into his target with Double Edge, badly wounding the Ledyba, and the recoil damage taking its toll on Sir Bug, yet the two combatants were still able to fight. The Ledyba then went on the offensive with a quick Mach Punch against the Karrablast, but the weak attack was easy for the Karrablast to shrug off. "Now, finish it with another Double Edge!" Cameron shouted, with the second attack the Ledyba was also down for the count. With his share effectively routed, Cameron waited for his teammates to finish their own.

It didn't take long for them to arrive, first was a girl student from his dorm. Pushing off from the wall he smiled, accepting her hand shake. "Hello Lilith, I'm Benji, I think I've seen you around the dorm before it's nice to meet you." It was nice having another one from his dorm here to do the mission, perhaps he'd actually have a friend from Mana after this. In the next few minutes a Lava Dormer arrived. He was quite...muscular and Benji almost felt self conscious of his own 'slim' stature. Shrugging he waved to the guy until he opened his mouth. Third Wheel? Benji scoffed, this Cameron guy was sure something. "The name's Benji," he replied and followed them inside. As soon as they entered the building sounds could be heard in a room closest to them. Of course Cameron opened the door first and Benji rolled his eyes. He was used to doing things on his own and wasn't much of the follower type but he would just deal with it this time.

When he opened the door his eyes widened a bit with surprise. There were at least six bug Pokemon flying or skittering around in the room. Definitely about to do damage if they hadn't already. When the wild Pokemon caught sight of the students they panicked, trying to escape out the window. Cameron attacked first taking on the Ledyba and Yanma. Benji let him handle that and looked around for a moment. "I can handle the Volbeat and Illumise if you guys don't mind." He didn't wait for a reply and grabbed a ball off his belt. "Come on out Duncan, I think you can handle these guys on your own." In a flash of light his Charmander was released and when he noticed all the bug Pokemon he looked at Benji curiously. "This should be easy, we just got to stop these guys from getting away." Benji eyed the Volbeat first. "Go for that Volbeat, use Fire Blast!" Duncan nodded, quickly inhaling and shooting out a huge blast of fire. There wasn't anywhere the poor Bug Pokemon could go and was directly hit. Fire being super effective hit the Pokemon even harder and it quickly fainted in a heap of smoke.

The Illumise looked at its friend with shocked eyes and rounded on the Charmander with a cry. Not letting the fire-type attack first the Illumise let out a large buzzing sound that radiated through the room. "Watch out its Bug Buzz," Duncan nodded and tried to somehow dodge the wave of energy but it was futile. It hit him, yet the move didn't do much damage and he shook it off with a flick of his tail. "Let's finish this, use another Fire Blast." Duncan nodded, a little annoyed at getting hit by the bug Pokemon in the first place. He let out another giant blast of fire and just as before it hit its target. This time the Illumise was able to float for a bit longer before falling next to the Volbeat and fainting as well.

Benji could have caught one of them, but didn't really care for either Pokemon. He motioned for Duncan to come over to his side then glanced at the other students with him. Seeing how well they would fair in their battles.

Actions:

Benji declined to catch either.

[Lilith Sinclaire]

Lilith smiled back at Benji, returning the friendly hand shake before pulling her dainty hand back over to her side. "It's nice to meet you, too. I think I've seen you around the dorm as well." She allowing her warm smile to spread a little more. It wasn't long after that their final team member had appeared and Lilith slowly turned her attention toward him. She soon founded herself blushing at his words. She wasn't too used to males giving her nice compliments. It didn't help that she also found Cameron rather attractive as well. Snapping out of the moment, she would nod her head and follow Cameron and Benji into the Breeding Center. Upon entering the Breeding Center, the team was quickly greeted by a team of Wild Bug Pokemon. The boys didn't wait anytime sending out their Pokemon and giving orders to their Pokemon. Cameron decided to go after the Ledyba and Yanma. Benji went for the Volbeat and Illumise, which left Lilith to deal with the Kricketot and Paras.

"That leaves me with the Kricketot and Paras." She stated, grabbing two sphere from her bag and tossing them onto the ground. Within two flashes of brilliant lights, a Snorunt and Vulpix appeared in front of her. "Winter, Persephone, let's make this quick! Blizzard, Extrasensory!" She commanded with a smile. The Snorunt would release a powerful blast of snow toward the Paras and Kricketot, hitting both of the Pokemon with great force. The Paras couldn't withstand the super effect attack and quickly fainted right after receiving the heavy damage. The Kricketot managed to hang in there with a little health left. However, the Vulpix quickly took it down with a unique psychic move.

After dealing with the Pokemon and clearing them out of the lab, you head outside to deal with the troublemakers that escaped after you impeded on their pranks. They hadn't gotten very far on their own leaving you enough time to run up and catch up to them. As you do so, they look back at you with a scared expression and choose to fight back. (You cannot catch any of these Pokemon.)

When the battles had finished, all the bug Pokemon were fainted which he had expected. The other students could take care of themselves and he was glad he hadn't been put with less...competent people. It looked like this mission would be pretty easy with the students he had been paired up with and he smiled. "Let's go catch those losers," he said, quickly going outside before they could get away. Sure enough they were lingering not far off and he quickly ran over to them. When they turned they looked scared at first...but decided to fight back. "Good I wasn't going to let you go anyway," Benji said with a smirk and glanced over the opponents. He looked over his shoulder at Cameron and Lilith, "I'll take the Marill, you guys can handle the others right?" He rounded back on the Pokemon, "You chose the wrong time to be causing trouble."


Quickly he released his Pichu, Finn, and didn't wait to give his order. "This Marill is causing trouble, let's show her why that was a really bad idea." Finn looked up at his trainer and nodded. "Use Thunder Wave on that Marill now!" He knew this move would paralyze the opponent, so this would go smoothly. Finn stood still for a moment, concentrating as electricity began to crackle out of his cheeks. In the next moment he sent out the shock wave with a "Chuuuuu!" and it hit its target with a loud zap. Just as he had expected the Marill fell to the ground paralyzed. It tried to get up to attack but was pretty much stuck. "I told you this was a a bad idea," Benji said to the Marill with a dark chuckle. "Keep going, use a Thunder Shock!" Finn complied sending out a strong shock of electricity at the downed Marill. It hit it's target, making the poor thing roll a bit. Yet again it tried to get up, and with a jolt fell back to the ground still paralyzed. "Again!" Benji shouted and Finn let out another Thundershock attack. Still the creature wouldn't give up, and it was quite pitiful. "Finish it off with Volt switch." The Pichu released the shocking energy and of course it hit its target. With a soft sigh the Marill fainted and landed in a heap on the ground.

Action:
Pichu used Thunderwave on Marill
Marill was paralyzed!
Pichu used Thundershock.
Marill is still paralyzed.

Pichu finishes off Marill with a Volt Switch.

[Lilith Sinclaire]

Lilith smiled at her Pokemon's victory before returning her Snorunt back into her Pokeball. He decided to kept her Vulpix out a little longer, in case the team encountered anymore Bug types. Upon seeing one of her teammates running outside to catch up with the trouble-makers, Lilith took that as her cue to sprint after them as well. Persephone prancing right behind her trainer. Once the team had managed to catch up with the trouble-makers, Lilith's sapphire blue eyes soon feel upon the graceful Kirlia. "What's a pretty little fairy Pokemon like you doing causing trouble around here," She questioned, shaking her head in disappoint. She never figured that an emotion Pokemon, such as Kirlia would be running around causing trouble. "Disregard that question. Either way, we're going to have to take you down." She stated staring at the Kirlia a little longer before breaking away from the Psychic/Fairy Pokemon, then glancing down at her own Pokemon, who was now standing in front of her and standing in her fighting position.

The Kirlia flashed Lilith a cunning smirk before leaping gracefully into the air, firing a powerful blast of rainbow hued leaves toward the scarlet fox Pokemon. "Persephone, stand your ground then hit her with a Confuse Ray!"  The Vulpix swiftly crouched down onto the ground, bracing herself for the unavoidable attack. Fortunately, the Magical Leaf wasn't super effective, and only caused minor damage to Persephone's body. Once the attack ended, Persephone would fire sinister ray toward the Kirlia, triggering confusion onto her target. The Kirlia attempted to fight back with a Psychic attack, however, due to her confusion she was only able to inflict damage onto herself. "Persephone, finish with Flamethrower!" The raven haired trainer commanded with a smirk. The Vulpix quickly released a fiery attack from her mouth toward the Kirlira, which soon enough meet her delicate body and caused her to faint upon contact from the burning flames.

Guess, that just leaves the pufff ball." Cameron noted with a nod, his teammates effortlessly dealt with their opponents leaving the Jigglypuff to the muscular, young man. Fairy pokemon had to be the biggest pushovers he's ever seen, just looking at them now made him laugh a little. A dancer, a ball of fluff, and a fat, blue thing. "Ah, well. This is what you get for messing with a person's sleep." It seemed a bit cruel, but it was exactly what they were doing. "Alright Zweihändos, mess em' up!" Cameron shouted, tossing a pokeball into the air. "Iron Head!" he ordered. The twin pair of swords, charging at the Jigglypuff and smashing into it with a powerful Iron Head, which quickly knocked the mischievous fairy out cold. "Well, isn't this boring." Cameron sighed. "Let's just get this over with." he said, disappointment dripping from his tone.

With the three fairies taken care of, they proceed to make a great deal of noise before blinding you with some sort of move. Afterwards, they proceed to scurry away while making a lot of noise. At least, that is what you assume, considering you can't see shit. But after you regain sight, it seems that all the noise they made managed to attract some scary faces.

When all the culprits had fallen, Benji gave out a satisfied grin. He was about to make a sarcastic comment to them but before he could even open his mouth a insanely bright flash of light totally blinded him. For at least two minutes after that he couldn't see anything, now he knew what it was like for blind people. He heard the three fairies escaping and then some louder noises coming towards them. As his vision cleared he had expected the three troublemakers to have maybe come back for a rematch. But to his surprise instead it was four rather large Wild Pokemon. It caught him off guard and he took a step back, still blinking vision back into his eyes. "Er...hello," he said to the Pokemon who just stared at the two boys with vacant looks. He gulped loudly and looked over at the buff Lava Dormer. "I'll take on the giant tree and that tangled mess of a Pokemon okay?"

He reached on his belt, sliding his fingers over to the correct Pokeballs and released Duncan and Kai, his Charmander and Absol. He was pretty sure he could finish this quickly, even with Duncan not being evolved yet. "Kai let's start off with a Blizzard, Duncan you aim a Fire Blast at the Tangrowth!" Both Pokemon nodded, Kai releasing a flurry of snowy wind straight at the two opposing Pokemon. It hit them hard, doing major damage though they still managed to stay up. Duncan followed after Kai's attack, sending a powerful Fire Blast at the Tangrowth. It hit its target doing super effective damage yet again for the wild Pokemon. The giant tangled mess didn't even make a noise as she just fell to the ground in a giant heap of...whatever she was made out of.

The Trevenant was still standing, glaring at his two enemies with scary looking eyes. With a roar it sent out a wave of odd energy straight at Duncan. Unable to dodge the Charmander was hit with a Confuse Ray and instantly became confused. "Try another Fire Blast!" Duncan listened, but as he tried to attack it failed and hit him instead. Frowning, Benji turned to Kai. "You'll have to finish this. Use another Blizzard, let's down that stupid tree!" Kai let out a grunt of acknowledgment, sending out another giant storm of snow. Just as before it hit its target, and yet by some miracle the tree still stood!

"What the-...." Both Benji and Kai seemed shocked, yet the Trevenant just let out almost a laugh and attacked again. This time it aimed a Shadow Claw at Kai, which thankfully didn't do much damage since he was resistant. Benji didn't even bother with Duncan since he was still confused. "Kai you'll finish this. Use a Sucker Punch!" The Absol complied, rushing towards the large tree Pokemon and slashing its claws hard against the bark-like body. Finally the stubborn foe fell with a loud crash to the ground. This was a Pokemon he could use. Quickly Benji took an empty Pokeball and tossed it at the Trevenant.

Absol used Blizzard on Trevenant & Tangrowth.
Charmander used Fire Blast on Tangrowth.
Tangrowth fainted.
Trevenant used Confuse Ray on Charmander.
Charmander became confused!
Charmander hurt himself in the confusion.
Absol used Blizzard on Trevenant.
Trevenant used Shadow Claw on Absol.
Absol used Sucker Punch on Trevenant.
Trevenant fainted.
Benji attempted to catch the Trevenant.

Cameron whistled as he saw the group of powerful pokemon show up. “I take back what I said about those fairies.” He commented. He saw Benji go on to take on his opponents and ran towards the Tropius and Ferrothorn. “Alright, let’s get to it. Model M, Hero!” he shouted, tossing the two pokeballs into the air. Maybe it was a bad idea to send his newer, inexperienced pokemon out to fight these bigger pokemon, but Cameron was never one to use caution. Forget that stuff, you just muscle through everything. “Alright you two, let’s pummel ‘em! Hero, use Superpower on that Ferrothorn! Model M, back her up with a Hammer Arm!” The Golett and Darumaka rushed the pokemon with their powerful skills, assaulting it’s iron body with powerful punches. Leaving the Ferrothorn beaten and knocked out. The two pokemon took some damage from the Ferrothorn’s Iron Barbs, but it wasn’t enough to knock them out.  

Seeing it’s fallen comrade, the Tropius whirled up a heavy Leaf Storm, aimed at the Golett, the ground type pokemon stood no chance against the attack and fell quickly. Cameron cursed under his breath, returning the pokemon to it’s pokeball. “Sorry about that.” He muttered softly to the pokeball containing the beaten Golett. “Hero won’t stand a chance by herself…” Cameron thought, examining the situation. Even though he had just fought before, he was going to have to rely on Trapez once more. “Alright Trapez, back at it!” he shouted, tossing another pokeball into the air. “Alright Hero, use Overheat!” he commanded. “Trapez, back her up with a Flamethrower!” the two fire attacks were too much for the Tropius to handle, and soon toppled over. “I’m gonna take you with me.” Cameron assured as he produced an emoty pokeball. He then tossed the machine at the giant and waited for the signal of capture. “Phew, that was a fun one. “ Cameron grinned. “All done too dude?” he asked his partner.
