I could've danced all night [Mission--Sapphira+Argent]

The Mission Board had been a pleasant surprise to the girl, and when she'd seen the tag about the Pier Vivienne had decided to investigate. She wasn't quite just what was going to happen, but a helpful student passing by had explained that sometimes more than one student took on one of the little missions for the rewards. Glancing around the littered underside of the pier, the surf only a few feet away lapping at the shore, she was hoping someone else would arrive to help her with the repairs. She was more experienced with vandalism than restoration, after all.
"I think we'll be okay, don't you?" She asked her Flabebe, Praline, as the little fairy floated near her. The girl picked up a hammer and some joint compound, looking from one to the other, "I........don't think these go together probably....right?" She sighed. This was going to be a long day unless someone with a little more experience putting things right showed up.

Finally! Argent's first mission. He was so terribly excited that not even the fact that he had to repair a gross pier would bring him down. He would be able to meet new people and make new friends. The oppurtunity itself was about to give him a heart attack. Argent practically skipped all the way to the pier. With a smile stretching ear to ear, he had just made to the repair site. He saw what seemed to be an adorable girl with what seemed to be a Flabebe with her. He noticed that she had repair equipment in her hands. It was rather safe to assume that she was also on the same mission. Argent approached her waving to get her attention. "Hi there! I'm Argent! I sure hope you know how to work this stuff. I don't have a clue!" His introduction was a tad too energetic and a little forced, but the boy couldn't help himself. It was odd for someone to proclaim ignorance in a subject with such vigor, but this girl was a possible friend-in-the-making, and Argent wanted to make sure she knew he was a nice person. He had a wide grinned simply plastered on his face.

“Ugh, oh my gosh, this is disgusting!” Cried the boy as he picked his way along the underside of the pier, sure he was interested in the concept of the mission, the money didn’t seem so bad and if it meant Doonan could get more experience why not. Speaking of the small Treecko, it was currently clinging to his back as the pretty boy tip toed around trash and other debris. Maybe if it wasn’t so filthy and disgusting down here he would have let Rouge out. Spying what looked like two other students he’d make his way towards them, hearing how the rather handsome boy with an eye patch didn’t know how to even do the job they were tasked with. “If you didn’t know how then why did you sign up for the task?” He groused, letting out an irritated sigh as he put his hands on his hips. He didn’t know anything about docks, or piers, or whatever it was either. But if he sounded like he knew what he was doing, Sapphira could probably direct those other two easily enough.
“How about you two, get to replacing the supports there and there…” He started while pointing to two of the lower rotting supports. “Just screw the new ones in next to them so the old ones rot away, and I’ll keep watch for any Pokémon because it seems I have the only grass type? Hmm?” He told the other two, said grass type making himself known.

The three of you prepare yourselves as you go below the pier in the city. Its pretty dark and could even be considered kind of scary considering what is lurking down here. Well, perhaps you should get started? According to the pier owner, there are three pillars that need to be repaired in total. Each one is progressively more further into the pier. That said, you make your way to the first one which is relatively close. You begin to make the repairs needed which is pretty on its own. All you did was replace a few ropes here and there, as well as fill in a few decayed portions. As you finish up the first pillar though, you get attacked by some Pokemon. Ability: Stench Gender: Female [/div] • Fling • Pound • Gunk Shot • Screech Ability: Sweet Veil Gender: Male [/div] • Draining Kiss • Cotton Spore • Fairy Wind • Play Nice Ability: Shell Armor Gender: Female [/div] • Guillotine • Crabhammer • Brine • Harden

The arrival of the other two was quite reassuring and the eye-patched boy with red hair introduced himself as Argent; the pale one with the golden eyes, on the other hand, didn’t take the first step in getting to know them. Instead, he was down to busy. The fact he didn’t seem to want to actually do the work they’d been hired for did grate on Vivienne’s nerves, but she didn’t open her mouth to protest. In lieu of that, she simply smiled at the red head and offered a quick bob of the head to the white haired boy. “I’m Vivienne. Nice to meet you.”
The fact the white-haired boy had made a call on her Pokemon because he had some ugly little lizard trailing behind him almost made her giggle. Praline was as good as any grass type in a battle, without half their weaknesses to boot; beyond that fact, it wasn’t like she’d go on a mission without bringing any other Pokemon. Truth be told, her own Grass type was in a Pokeball. She just didn’t want to deal with Marmalade running off underneath the pier. At least she could count on the Flabebe to behave herself and be helpful. Considering they were done beating around the bush, the girl helped reassemble the supports to the pier; it wasn’t as hard as she thought with an extra pair of hands, though the golden eyed boy seemed far less interested in helping them.
When the repairs seemed to wrap up, Vivienne turned around to see three Pokemon making their way, aggressively, towards the pier they’d fixed. One of them in particular caught her eye. The fact that the Cotton Candy Pokemon was living in the muck under the pier was both a little sad and, strangely, made sense. Still, she grinned from ear to ear considering she’d spotted it first. “Looks like we’ve got company boys…” She said, nodding to the approaching Grimer and Krabby. “Why don’t you handle those two? I can take care of the Swirlix.”
She didn’t even wait for a reply from either one; the white haired kid might’ve been pushy at the start, but Vivienne Montmarche wasn’t going to miss an opportunity to add another Fairy to her collection. “Let’s take that Swirlix on, Marmalade!” She released the Budew, debunking the white haired boy’s earlier assumptions on her lack of a grass type as she did so. “Open up with your Stun Spore!” The Budew released a cloud of noxious pollen at it, but the Swirlix evaded it with ease. In fact, the Swirlix seemed to return the favor, spinning as it released a cloud of pink and white fluff that clung to Marmalade. Vivienne gritted her teeth.
“Let’s use Growth!” The plant’s body flickered green as her size increased slightly. The Swirlix responded by flouncing forward on its feet, smiling as it began…playing with the Budew? Vivienne recognized the general sort of move used to weaken an enemy’s will to fight, but the Swirlix was definitely underestimating the Budew by getting that close. “Use the opportunity while you’ve got it close to use a Stun Spore!” Vivienne called, and even though the Swirlix was treating her like it’s new best friend, Marmalade sprayed it with the familiar yellow spores. It coughed once or twice before falling back and releasing a sparkly gust at her, the flecks of pinkish light familiar. The Budew sat through it, barely even changing the look on her face. Using a Fairy Wind on a poison type Pokemon? That was just insulting.
“Suck ‘em dry with Mega Drain!” Vivienne called to her Budew, who complied as green energy vines shot into the Swirlix, sucking it of life energy. The damage that the Swirlix had done was negated by the sapping move. It narrowed its wide pink button eyes, and the tongue sticking out of the side of its mouth licked it’s lips before blowing the plant a kiss. The pink heart shape that flew from it’s mouth was glittering and sparkling, and the minute it struck the the Budew it shattered, several pieces flying back to the Swirlix. Though Vivienne had never seen it in use, she recognized the Draining Kiss from her own reading on Fairy types. It was a little stronger than a Mega Drain in power, especially coming from a fairy type, but the poison typing that Marmalade sported meant she only took partial damage from the move. “Let’s get our power up one more time with Growth!”
The Swirlix, running out of options, tried to use it’s Play Nice attack to sway the Budew into being friends with it, maybe even to just let it get away. The Budew played along, but as her trainer called out, “Finish up with Mega Drain!” a dark smile appeared on her innocent little face. The green vines were faster and thicker than the start of the fight thanks to the Budew’s earlier prep work. The Swirlix spasmed before falling over, and Vivienne tossed an Academy Ball at it. Given the beating the baby plant had given it, she was rather hopeful she’d just added another fairy to the family.(Capture attempt!) {Battle Details} Budew used Stun Spore! It missed! Argent was overjoyed! Not only was he able to meet this adorable girl, but now there was a really cute boy under the pier as well! It may have been a little off putting to have the white haired boy order the other two, but Argent just surmised it was because he knew what he was talking about. The last thing Argent would want at this point was to disappoint the beautiful specimen before him. He went to work with the girl...Vivienne was her name? Yes, Vivienne. The red-haired boy thought it was almost like a bonding experience for the two to fix the pier together, though he would greatly enjoyed more for the other boy to help. Argent was almost enjoying the fact he didn't know the name of the other boy. Mystery was nice from time to time.
The repairs were made, but shortly after, three Pokemon assembled and they didn't seem all to happy to find the three students under the pier. Vivienne jumped right into action and started her battle with the Swirlix. Argent admired her go-to attitude. The other two Pokemon, A Grimer and Krabby, started advancing towards Argent and the other lad. Argent recalled that this mystery man hates messy things, so he decided to take on the Grimer so the cute boy wouldn't have to. Argent whipped out a rose from behind and pointed it towards the other boy while on one knee. "I would hate to see those beautiful hands be sullied by this toxic sludge. Please, allow me to sacrifice my cleanliness for your sake." And with that, Argent gently tossed the flower to the young fellow, in hopes that he would catch it, and headed toward the Grimer. He picked out a pokeball and tossed it upwards. "Go, Lady! Tackle that Grimer!" The Feebas appeared and plopped on the ground. Though a tad awkward on land, Argent new his Feebas could handle this. The fish heaved its body at the living sludge damaging it slightly. The Grimer then reeled back a fist and punched Lady bumping her back a bit. "You can do this Lady! Tackle again!" The Feebas followed orders and threw its weight at the Grimer. This time, the Grimer let out a scream on Lady which seemed to put the Feebas in a discomforting position. " Don't give in! Tackle once more!" Begrudgingly, the Feebas tackled again. The Grimer went in for another punch, but this time it seemed to do a significantly larger amount of damage. This was most likely because of the screech the Grimer performed earlier. The Grimer was approaching the heavily breathing and tired Lady and was about to finish her off. Argent knew Lady was in a perfect position to end it right there. "You were so tough to take those punches, but now finish it off with flail!" The Feebas flung itself towards the Grimer's face and frantically slapped it with its back fin. Argent knew that with Lady running out of energy that flail would be much more powerful than any tackle she could have done. The Grimer plopped to the ground fainted. Lady, finished with the attack, flopped on her side completely spent from that battle. Argent got her pokeball out to return her to her little round home. " You fought so valiantly, Lady. Please, just rest now." Argent retured his Pokemon into its pokeball and looked to see how the others had fared in their duels.

Thank Ho-Oh they seemed to buy that he knew what he was doing. It seemed rather easy too, with him directing the two and keeping his hands clean as they replaced the worst looking supports or ropes or whatever, all this stuff probably had a weird ocean name. Of course this was his second time seeing the ocean, having lived all his life in a landlocked city. Either way it seemed to go well until they were visited by unwanted company.
As the pink haired girl went after the rather ugly looking, puff… ball… thing, Sapphira would shy away from the Grimer approaching, the damn thing reeked to high heaven and he was about to lose his lunch. Taking a few steps away the cute redhead with an eye patch would get down and hand him a rose. As well as a rather nice compliment. “Oh please, I haven’t even gotten them manicured.” He lied with a giggle, truth be told he had just finished getting his nails done up before he came to this dank place. Like this absolutely delicious looking man could know that he had a bad nail day every now and again was unthinkable. “M-Maybe once you’re done we can go and clean you up.” He murmured, his face reddening a bit as he fiddled with the flower and stuck it in his hair before he would turn around and cringe.
Dear Ho-Oh why were Krabbies so damn ugly. With a motion to Doonan the little Treecko would leap in front of his Trainer. “Just use Energy Ball on it, this shouldn’t be real hard.” He told his Pokémon, who proceeded to do just that, the small Gecko-like Pokémon forming a ball of energy between his hands before blasting it towards the Krabby. Surprisingly the little thing would hang on, picking itself up after it was flattened by the Treecko’s attack. Being a rather gutsy little think, the Krabby would rush into a Crabhammer attack, nothing Doonan couldn’t weather though, the Grass type winning over the other. “Well Mega Drain then.” He told the Pokémon with a shrug, Doonan holding out his palms to the Krabby as he drained the last of its HP. While Doonan looked rather invigorated, The Krabby was soon taken out to water by the waves. It’d probably be fine. “Okay now onto the next set?” He said with a clap of his hands, Doonan going back to clinging on his trainer’s back.

"Welcome to the team, a la Mode." Vivienne said, picking up the Academy Ball and nearly kissing it; until, of course, she did recall just where they were. Maybe a quick grooming session when they got home would be a good thing? She glanced over, realizing the two boys had wrapped up their battles before she'd even managed to catch the Swirlix. Oh well; babies couldn't exactly crush their enemies with ease, could they? She returned the Budew, noted the flirtation between the other two people on the mission, and nearly sighed. So Argent had a bit of a hopeless romantic to him? It was cute, she guessed.
In any event, she found herself deeper underneath the pier and helping recover the mild damage it had taken. Just as they finished up, another trio of Pokemon arrived, looking rather displeased with their work. Having already used the spare Academy Ball she'd brought along, Vivienne had no intention or means of catching any of these Pokemon. Still, getting a little battle experience never hurt, did it?
"Come on out, Mille-feuille!" She called, releasing her Kangaskhan. The parental Pokemon blinked once, twice, then let out a small yawn. The baby Kangaskhan was asleep, but that was ruined when the Shellder sprayed the pair with a blast of water. The baby woke up with a shout, crying slightly, and Mille-feuille's eyes narrowed. "That Shellder's got a death wish....." Vivienne whispered to herself.
Mille-feuille didn't take kindly to anyone, or anything, messing with her child. Case in point, after the Shellder's Brine did mild damage and woke the baby up, she narrowed her eyes and let out a growl. The beast moved in, without so much as a command from her trainer, and began pelting the Shellder with a volley of punches thrown faster than the eye could see. Comet Punch, coming off of Mille-feuille's attack and with the same-type-attack bonus? The Shellder fell back in obvious distress, clamping it's shell shut and building a metallic lacquer on it instantaneously. Iron Defense, perhaps? Vivienne bit the side of her lip. Mille-feuille's Comet Punch had done some serious damage, but if the Shellder built it's defenses high enough it would drag the battle out longer than either one wanted. The obvious answer to taking it down as quickly as possible registered to her, and holding Mille-feuille's Academy Ball, she gave it.
"Take that thing out with your Outrage, Mille-feuille!" She called. The Kangskhan might have still been getting used to her trainer, but she recognized a good idea when she heard one. Her body began glowing red, a dragonic aura rising, and she launched a vicious fist to the Shellder's face, sending it flying. The Shellder's previous Iron Defense had built it up enough to keep it standing, and it repeated the move. Another shot from Outrage though? The Shellder wasn't thrown so much as launched, unconscious, into the surf and sand far from the pier. The Kangaskhan's dragonic aura evaporated, and she looked quite dizzy. "You did great Mille-feuille, return!" Vivienne called, resealing her Kangaskhan into the Academy Ball before she hurt herself. {Battle Summary} Shellder used Brine! Kangaskhan used Comet Punch! Shellder used Iron Defense! Kangaskhan used Outrage! Shellder used Iron Defense! Kangaskhan used Outrage! Shellder fainted!

With his battle over and done with, Argent looked around to find the others were also successful. Vivienne even caught the cotton candy Pokemon. Argent was happy for her. What he was more excited about was that the white-haired boy had put the flower in his hair! Argent felt all bubbly inside. He couldn't stop smiling. He went back to work with Vivienne with a great work ethic. He wouldn't want the other boy's nails to break. He shuddered at the thought. The second pillar was fixed, and Argent was wishing to talk a bit more to the other lad. That idea quickly went down the gutter as three more Pokemon made their way towards the students. Vivienne went for the Shellder with...a Khangaskan? Argent was surprised such a cute girl had such a large and imposing Pokemon on her team.
Argent came to the realization that another stinky poison-type was with this gang of Pokemon. Assuming that the white haired boy didn't like gross things to a great extent, he decided to chivalrously defeat this Pokemon as well. Argent turned to the boy in a very dramatic way. "Fear not! I will not allow the fowl odor of this Pokemon to wither that rose or your beauty." And with that, Argent called out his very trusty Growlithe. "Go Reginald!" His Growlithe appeared next to him barking with anticipation. The Stunky growled, and lunged with glowing purple claws. Argent has seen his Meowth use this move as well. It was Night Slash. Reginald was Argent's strongest Pokemon and wasn't about to be struck by that high critical ratio move. The Growlithe pushed backwards to avoid the move. "Now use Crunch!" The dog then lunged forward to sink his fangs in the skunk. Reginald teared up a little at the awful taste of the stinky Pokemon. The Stunky then threw out blobs of poison onto Reginald. The Growlithe howled in pain as the toxins seeped in. "Don't give up now! Use Flamethrower!" The dog took a deep breath and shot out a column of flames from his mouth. The Stunky yelped loudly. It seemed as though the move left it with a bad burn. The enemy quickly closed in with another Night Slash and connected the hit since poor Reginald was weakened by the poison. "I bet you could finish it off now with an Outrage!" Reginald began to glow with a red, dragon-like energy. He then bashed into the Stunky with an intense force. The Stunky was in a tizzy and panicked with an attempted Belch. It was ineffective due to it not eating a berry. Reginald went in for the final blow. The skunk went rolling through the sand and plopped down next to one of the good pillars, fainted. Suddenly, Reginald whimpered a bit. It seemed to be going through some serious pain. The blasted Stunky must have had Aftermath as its ability. Poor Reginald was barely standing. "You did more than enough. Please rest." Argent returned the Growlithe into his pokeball. Well, now that left only his Meowth in a position to fight off whatever may come next. Argent was feeling a bit nervous. He had no way of effectively beating a water type. With a sigh, Argent returned to the other two to check up on them.
Battle notes: Stunky used Night Slash. It missed! Growlithe used Crunch Stunky used Toxic. Growlithe badly poisoned! Growlithe used Flamethrower. Stunky was burned! Stunky used Night Slash Growlithe used Outrage Stunky used Belch. Belch failed! Growlithe used Outrage Stunky fainted. Aftermath ability activated! Growlithe took Aftermath damage

Sapphira would cock an eyebrow as the girl pocketed the rather ugly puff ball… thing. Whatever it was it looked sticky and gross. As they made their way deeper under the pier, the boy would strain his eyes to watch his step now, the sound of things moving around him didn’t help either. Who knew what was down here? But they would find themselves in front of the second pillar, and like before he would direct and appraise them in their work, making sure it got done to perfection. Having got caught up staring at the red head, he would barely notice the three new Pokémon until the girl let out a Khangaskan. Eyes widening as he inched back from the skunk-like Pokémon, and downright blushing when the other boy called him beautiful Sapphira would look to his own opponent.
With his eyebrow arching up at the little Squirtle he would snap his fingers. “C’mon Doonan.” He told the Treecko who would leap into action then and there. Landing in front of the Squirtle, Which then lowered its head, like it was getting ready for something. “Use Detect, then follow up with another Energy Ball.” He would tell his Pokémon, standing by as Doonan would take a stance, the small tree gecko’s eyes glowing as the Squirtle charged him for a Skull Bash. Dodging the move artfully before firing off another ball of energy towards the Squirtle’s side, with the small water type letting out a screech of pain, sending a powerful Hydro Pump that would crash into the grass type. Biting his lip the boy would send out his trump, Sure he was a grass type, but Doonan still took a hard hit and he rather have someone on standby to keep him in. The boy’s Alomomola would burst from her ball, the pink fish-like Pokémon letting out a soft cry, as Doonan picked himself up. "Rouge, Heal Pulse on Doonan, Doonan another Energy Ball." They would do as commanded, Rouge more than willing to help her teammate, the large Alomomola letting out a cry as a healing aura would surround Doonan, fixing the poor guy up just as the Squirtle’s tail, wreathed in blue light would smack into him. Letting out a grunt the newly healed Treecko would weather it, before sending another harsh ball of green energy and catching the Squirtle dead center. The Squirtle was on the ropes now, two strong attacks from Doonan had the poor thing barely on its feet still, but it was still on its feet after all. “Rouge, Brine, Doonan, Quick Attack.” It was unlikely that the other Water Type would be standing after the Quick Attack, but still. Doonan would deliver a shoulder bash that could barely be seen, and Rouge sending out a torrent of water that seemed to hit the Squirtle harder than usual. Without a chance to react, the Squirtle was knocked away somewhere under the pier. Doonan would try to look cool, though scuffed as he was, and Rouge was absolutely resplendent in appearance.
“Ah, Argent was it? Maybe you would like to let Rouge here heal your Pokémon. After all it’s the least I could do for someone so…” Gorgeous, sexy, hot, anyone of those he wanted to say, but that would hardly be proper. “Courteous.” The regularly snarky boy would chime with a smile. Off in their own corner Rouge would fret and fuss over the Treecko trying to look cool, patching his wounds before giving hip a kiss on the cheek like any mother would after cleaning their kid up after a scuffle. Doonan though would scoff and try and avoid the overbearing fish as best as possible.

After the last repairs were done, Vivienne turned around and noticed the fact they'd been surrounded on three sides. What was worse was the fact that half of the Pokemon present were poison types, which she didn't exactly have an effective counter to in spades. In any event, it looked like there wasn't any reasoning with them. She turned and walked to the one side, "I'll take the trash out." Vivienne said lightly, nodding to the Drifloon and the Trubbish standing nearby.
She released not one, but two of her Pokemon; having one of her first tag battles in the gross underside of the Pier, sure...why not? The Flabebe and Kangaskhan glanced at eachother, then at their opponents, and nodded. The Drifloon and Trubbish seemed to be chuckling at taking on the fairy and the monster; someone had informed them of their type advantages, it seemed. Too bad that person was wrong.
"We need to play it a little careful ladies," Vivienne called, "one's a poison type, the other's a ghost. They'll probably use status effects to their advantage." With those words, she and her Flabebe met eyes, and she nodded with a smile. "Fortunately, we've got a counter to them, right Praline?"
The Flabebe blew a kiss to the ground, and a mass of swirling mist rose, as thick as cotton candy and sparkling on occasion. Misty Terrain would weaken Mille-Feuille's Outrage, it was true, but it was also going to prevent any Pokemon, besides for the part flying-type Drifloon, from getting any status ailment. This was evidenced when the Trubbish's spew of Toxic hit the Kangaskhan and dissipated, the magical mist spiraling up to wipe her clean. The Drifloon narrowed it's eyes lightly, part of it's plan derailed apparently, as it fired a Shadow Ball at the Flabebe. Vivienne nearly told Mille-Feuille to take the attack, canceling it entirely, but the Flabebe merely closed her eyes and braced herself. Vivienne let out a soft sigh when the dark energy explosion cleared. Praline still floated, and it looked like the Drifloon's attack had barely scratched her.
"Mille-Feuille, the Trubbish is more dangerous to us right now than that Drifloon. Let's show it your Mega Punch, okay?" Vivienne called. The Kangaskhan nodded, moving forward and slamming her fist into the Trubbish's face. There was no denying that Mille-Feuille was strong. The kind of strong that left the Trubbish reeling back.
"Let's keep the pressure up Praline. Give that balloon a Moonblast from us." The trainer commanded, to which the Flabebe was glad to return the favor. The sparkling pink and silver fairy magic collected into a large sphere, vaguely reminiscent of the moon itself, before shattering into a multitude of light beams that slammed into the Drifloon. The poor thing didn't have a Flabebe's natural defenses against special attacks either, and it fell back. The Trubbish rose up, opening it's mouth and firing a massive blast of sludge at Praline. That sort of move could knock the slightly injured fairy out, but Vivienne had already planned for that.
"Mille-feuille, intercept that attack for Praline!" She called. The Kangaskhan stepped in the way, her body bracing against the physical might of the Gunk Shot. The lingering chance of poison was swept away by the swirling fairy mists beneath her. The Drifloon, obviously annoyed, fired another Shadow Ball past the Kangaskhan and at the Flabebe, but it was weaker and smaller than it had been.
"Let's wrap this up!" Vivienne cried, "Praline, use Moonblast on the Trubbish!" The Flabebe complied, firing another massive wave of fairy magic at the trash bag Pokemon; even with it's natural resistance to fairy magic, the Trubbish simply didn't have enough strength to weather it after the Kangaskhan's Mega Punch. It went down like a sack of, well, trash. "Mille-Feuille, pop the Drifloon with your Bite!" She called, and the Kangaskhan darted forward, her mouth wide open, and clamped down on the Drifloon before it could react. The super-effective hit on top of the former damage from Moonblast was more than enough to knock the Drifloon out.
Her two enemies down in a much shorter time than her first battle at the pier, Vivienne waded into the fairy mist and praised her pokemon. For the Flabebe, that meant cupping her in her hands; the Kangaskhan, on the other hand, opted for a quick rub on the head before returning to her Pokeball. As she turned, the fairy mist beginning to fade slowly, Vivienne decided to take note of the boys' fights.
---------
{Battle Summary} Flabebe used Misty Terrain! Trubbish used Toxic! It had no effect! Drifloon used Shadow Ball on Flabebe! Kangaskhan used Mega Punch on Trubbish! Flabebe used Moonblast on Drifloon! Drifloon's Special Attack fell! Trubbish used Gunk Shot on Flabebe! Kangaskhan intercepted the hit! Drifloon used Shadowball on Flabebe! Flabebe used Moonblast on Trubbish! Trubbish fainted! Kangaskhan used Bite on Drifloon! Drifloon fainted!

Though the last repairs took longer, the group (That is, Vivienne and Argent) finally finished the last pillar. Argent was about to congratulate the two for the hard work, but he turned behind himself to realize they were surrounded by Pokemon. Among these, Argent's eye spotted the most darling little Pokemon. A Dwebble was with the rag tag team, right next to a Spinarak. Vivienne had quickly jumped into battle with her opponents, so Argent decided to do the same. He was a little nervous though. The boy only had one Pokemon in pristine health. Oh well, it would be as good a time as any to use a potion. Argent reached for two pokeballs. "Colonel and Reginald, please assist!" The two Pokemon appeared before their trainer. Colonel stood upright and alert, but poor Reginald had fallen over. Argent rushed towards his side while Colonel had a look of real concern. "Just a little while longer. Here, take this." Argent applied the potion to his Growlithe. The dog was able to stand, but who knows how long it could last? At least his puppy was intimidating so as to make the opponents pensive.
"Now Reginald, use Flamethrower on the Spinarak! Colonel, use a Night Slash on the Spinarak as well!" The Growlithe launched a column of flames upon the spider, but not before Colonel dashed towards it with purple claws. The Meowth gave a quick slash at the Spinarak and jumped out of the way for the Flamethrower to make contact. The spider squealed in pain. The Spinarak jumped towards Reginald and slashed across the dog with poison arms. It was a Cross Poison, and with Reginald already being poisoned, that attack had doubled in power. Reginald howled in pain. The Dwebble scurried over to Colonel and slashed the poor cat. "Now! Reginald use Flamethrower on the Spinarak and Colonel Night Slash the Dwebble this time!" With the second fire attack from his Growlithe, the Spinarak passed out. Colonel was able to connect his Night Slash well enough, but the Dwebble retaliated with an X-Scissor. The move flung the Meowth backwards. Both of Argent's Pokemon were looking worse for wear, but the needed to just combine there attacks just one last time. "This should do it! Reginald, Crunch! Colonel, Night Slash!" His two Pokemon ran towards the Dwebble. His bared down hard with his jaws while his Meowth had slashed critically. The Dwebble gasped inward and plopped over fainted. "Incredible work you two!" Colonel winced in pain, but grinned towards Argent. However, the poison took over on Reginald and he had collapsed. Argent quickly returned them both to their respective pokeballs so as to not let them suffer anymore. The boy sighed a bit. His poor Growlithe does so much for him. Argent quickly remembered that he wished to capture the Dwebble. He picked out an empty pokeball and threw it towards the fainted Pokemon. He fell silent and waited in hopes the catch would be successful.

Sapphira pursed his lips as the rather attractive boy continued on, seemingly rebuffing his offer, or maybe he hadn’t heard the boy? Either way they moved onto the last spot, nothing left but this rather… dank area. Shuddering a bit the three would get to work, and even though it took a tad longer than before, they had finished. Only to find that they had company. It looked like a rather large group of Pokémon had come up to challenge them. Of course when Sapphira noticed a small little yellow, fluffy mite-like thing moving near the ground the boy let out a girlish squeal. The little Joltik was so cute! He absolutely had to get it. Of course as his teammates split off to take care of their two, he boy would face down the Ekans and Joltik.
“Hrmm.” He would release Jacques and Rouge, might as well just overwhelm these two. With his Sandile facing against the Ekans while Rouge and Doonan faced the Treecko. “Okay, Jacques use Rock Slide.” To start off the Small Sandile would stare down the two across from it, his glare causing the Joltik and Ekans to look a bit nervous, having second thoughts about attacking the group. Before the two could react a torrent of boulders would bear down on them. After getting over their bit of shakiness from Jacques Intimidate and Rock Slide the Ekans would launch a Bite towards the Sandile. Grunting he would weather it while the Joltik sent an Electro Ball towards the boy’s Alomomola. “Doonan Intercept that then use Quick Attack on it, Rouge Hydro Pump.” He would command, with them moving into action Doonan would take the Electro Ball for his teammate as Rouge sent out a powerful blast of water to the Joltik, with the heavy blast of water knocking the small Pokémon round Doonan’s Quick Attack would further stun the poor little thing. “Okay Jacques carry on performing Rock Slide.” The Sandile would let out a hissing laugh as another torrent of rocks blasted the Ekans and Joltik. Ekans seemed to be able to weather it, the small Joltik however seemed to have taken the worst from the following attacks, the poor little guy on his last legs so to speak. The poor little guy mustering up all the energy he could to deliver a Signal Beam to Doonan. As the Ekans would use Mud Bomb in a desperate attempt to get the Sandile off its tail. Jacques would weather the hit fairly well grinning back at the Sandile. Doonan would take the hit, the poor Treecko letting out a grunt as it wavered around. “Rouge use Brine and finish off the Joltik, Doonan use Detect.” He would command them, Rouge doing what she was told and blasting the half passed out Joltik with a powerful jet of water, causing the little mite to pass out in the sand, the water it was blasted with wetting it’s fluffy body down as it sunk in the sand a bit, making the poor Joltik look absolutely pathetic. Doonan’s eyes would glow, anticipating an attack from the now woefully outnumbered With Doonan ready to avoid any attack Sapphira wouldn’t feel bad about his next order. “Jacques, Earthquake!” He told the Pokémon, the little crocodilian grinning as it slammed the ground with its tail, Doonan would jump at the necessary time to avoid said attack while Rouge, having taken no real damage, weathered it. The Ekans on the other hand was rocked and slammed about, the small snake hisses at it was dashed upon the ground and left unconscious.
Giving his Pokémon a rub on the head each, he’d whisper to Rouge to heal them up while he took care of a little something. As Rouge would spam Heal Pulse at herself and her two teammates, taking care of Doonan first, who was nearly unconscious, Sapphira would remove a ball from his pack and tap the little applicator to the Joltik, chewing his bottom lip in nervousness as the ball started to shake in his hand after the Joltik had been sucked in.
