Fianna just listened as the man went on to detail some of his previous “exploits” as a teacher. There really were some hot-headed, dumbass students in the past, huh? Maybe there were even some in the present? Actually, no, there was almost definitely someone that stupid and reckless at the academy. That was almost a given, considering the academy's prestige. No doubt, somebody thinking they were some tough shit was there and was just waiting for their chance to raise hell. That was almost a given. Though it seemed something she said had caught the man's attention. He asked who Bernie was. Well, that was easier to show than to answer. With a shift upwards, she stood straight. Then she hopped back, kind of like a rabbit in reverse. Then, presenting a ball, she lobbed it to the open space of the room. The result? Well, afro. That is all.
”This is Bernie, my Bouffalant.” She explained with a note of simplicity and a nod. ”Met him on the Blissfury Plains. My little Elena danced with him, and we won.” She had an innocent smile. The Bouffalant just looked to the girl before staring at the man. He was kind of just. . . chilling. Observantly chilling, but chilling. ”Ah, right. Bernie, this is Coach Hartmann.” She introduced the man to the buffalo. And the buffalo just gave a grunt, looking away. He looked like he wanted to chew something. His attention was firmly planted on the guest chairs. Oh dear.

Alvis watched as the girl hopped backward in an odd but cute manner and produced a Pokeball. He had already deduced where this was going, of course. With the toss of a ball, a Bouffalant pooped out in between him and the girl. The young girl introduced him to the Pokemon. As he thought, this was "Bernie." It didn't seem too excitable at least. Alvis was sure the girl knew better than to release a wild-natured Pokemon out in his office. Then again, she might have wanted to see him "in action" despite their location. Alvis chose to believe the former. Nice to meet yo- Oi. Those aren't for eating. The man got a firm grasp on one of the horns of the Pokemon. He didn't tug at all, nor was he aggressive. He just held on; just in case.
The man looked towards the girl again. So, about those classes. The man figured now was as good a time as any to give her a small run-down. Usually classes will consist of a small lecture with some sort of activity following it. In the case of last class, everyone played dodgeball with the winners getting a prize. Things like that. Simple enough, right? Surely, it was simpler than any work related classes. All they had to do was listen and then participate in some games. Since you're here, I suppose I can let you in on the next activity. It's gonna be an obstacle course, so be ready for it. The man had no obligation nor reason to spoil what the activity was. He usually kept it a secret. But he liked this girl. It couldn't hurt to tell her.
