Aki raised an eyebrow at the answer, he found the frankness of it quite jarring. But she was right, Aki did lack the confidence ti talk to girls. He would've have fumbled over his words and made a bigger fool of himself than was now. The purple feline was now falling asleep in his lap. She was full from the food he had fed her. Aki now slowly ate his soup, they sat in silenceffor a few moments. Listening to shouts as Alices two ghosts terrorized the teens that were eating. It was going great until he brought up the battle challenge. He was kicking himself for doing so, but he had to know.
"What's your home town like?" Akihito asked trying to switch the conversation to something lighter. But talking about home might be a bad subject. It may make some people homesick.

”It’s quiet and safe since the city has no crime happening presently. Ecruteak’s also old-fashioned with some old buildings from centuries ago. As a child, I used to have some of the Gastly that live in that burned tower as friends.” She remembered that was partially the reason why she wanted to train Ghost types in the first place. Tidus the Aron was finishing off the last of the morsels he was given and turned to the two ghosts nearby who were terrorizing those teenage couples. She had been planning to use the two of them for contests someday and the elegant appearance of Henry would probably score more points than usual. Some of the kids in her hometown knew that she was a little strange when they found out she could actually understand some of the ghosts that lived in the tower, almost as if she were a little different. Tidus turned his attention to the Espurr, now sleeping soundly in Aki’s lap. Alice stroked his metallic skin and he nuzzled her back affectionately which showed that he had some degree of affection for his trainer.

After a few seconds Ophelia was asleep on her lap. He looked up and listened to Alice tell him about her home town. It sounded completely different than Lumiose City. It was so busy and noisy, but he had lived there his entire life before coming to the Academy. He kind of like the quiet of the island. It was relaxing that there was not as many cars and people. Where the Lava Dorm was he only had the occasional sound of falling rocks from the mountain. "It sounds very peaceful there. Lumiose City is the center of the Kalos region. So there are always people coming and going. Prism Tower is amazing when its light up at night."
Aki finished with a smile. He knew what they would do after dinner if they were in Lumiose, they would go to Prism Tower. But they werent and he wondered what they were going to do after they finished.

”I think Lumiose City is a nice city too. I had caught a few Pokemon that come from Kalos actually, but most of my party either come from Unova or Hoenn. Some of the Pokemon I own come from Johto as well and I find that the Pokemon from Hoenn are the ones I like to use for Pokemon Contests.” It was true as the majority of her Pokemon came from Unova or Hoenn initially and she had been planning to use them for contests. And Tidus might be a good candidate when he evolves into a Aggron, but she wasn’t sure if he was interested in using his moves as appeal. She could visualize the stage and the Pokemon she was going to use for future contests where the judges would be dazzled by her Pokemon’s moves. His home region sounded like a nice place to go to, considering that there were different towns and cities as well as new Pokemon she had never seen before.

Smiling at Alice as she told him where most of her pokemon came from. He had Pokémon from most every region except Johto. How ironic, the region that the girl he has a crush on is from is the region he has no Pokémon from. Though once his Azurill evolves he will. "Most of mine come from either Hoenn or Kalos. Though I don't have any from Johto. Though once my Azurill evolves I will." Aki said taking a drink of his tea. It was now getting lukewarm and wasnt as strong as it was before. Noticing that Alice was finished eating he thought for a moment. He didn't have anything planned after dinner really. He just hoped they would wing it. He really liked her and didn't want to mess up his chances to have this potentially become something more.

”That’s nice. I think I may have to introduce my Aron to another friend from Hoenn. Would you like that?” The Aron nodded as he eyed the room full of dining gentlemen and ladies in dresses. Nefertiti and Missy had grown tired of scaring those teenage couples, so the duo were promptly returned back inside their Academy Balls. With another click of an occupied Academy Ball, the female Vibrava was released outside where she looked curiously at the Aron. ”Tidius, this is Sekhmet.” The iron-clad Pokemon waved his front leg at the female dragonfly and she buzzed back in her own way of greeting him. The restaurant was relatively new to the dragonfly since she had been only recently caught from the mission, but she was friendly with the other members of her team and she had a desire to evolve into the stronger Flygon. At least, capturing this Vibrava saved a trip to the den, but there was still some more Pokemon she would have to catch for battling.

Aki sat there watching how happy the Aron was. Even though two days ago he was utterly devastated by Missy'sEarth PPower. The Aron named Titus looked very close to Alice as did all of her Pokémon. But Aki couldn't say that about all of his Pokémon. One wasn't coming around, she never shows any kind of emotion except when she's battling. His Doublade, Razor just stares off into space until she is given a command. It was like she is in her own little world. He knew that Alice had a Doublade as well.
Alice withdrew the two ghost and called a dragonfly looking Pokémon. She introduced her to the Aron and they interacted. Akihito just sat back watching things unfold. He wasn't even sure that Alice knew how much he like her. She was all he thought about even when he is trying to track down pokemon, training or even when he is trying g to study. "Alice, I have been trying to get the courage to tell you this from the moment I met you. I have a crush on you. That's why I made the stipulation for the battle and got so excited when you made your counter bet." There it was out in the open now. It was know up to her to take things from there. It could end in three different ways. Good, bad, or so bad he walks home rethinking his life and being at the school.

Just when things couldn’t get any awkward, a confession that he had a crush on her was now underway and there was time to think before saying something. The Aron waited silently as he continued to look around the restaurant for some interesting things to look at along with the dragonfly. ”Well, I know how you feel, but I think it would be best if we continued being friends. When the time is right, I will let you know how I feel.” Both the Aron and the dragonfly were interested in the conversation that was going on, but they had never known that Aki had a crush on her. She had been oblivious to his feelings up until that point and he had fallen in love with her when they first met. She had a feeling that he would be like what broken hearted lovers feel like. Still, being friends with someone you care about didn’t hurt in the slightest, so she did have enough time to think about how she felt for him originally.

Aki held his breath until Alice was done speaking. It wasn't as bad as he was anticipating, but it still wasn't the answer he was hoping for. Though she still wanted to be friends while she figured out how she felt about him. He had never been in a situation like this before and Aki knew he was going to be a nervous wreak until she figured it out. But the bright side was he still had her as a friend and that was a start.
Finishing off his tea he smiled then spoke. "That is quite alright, take as much time as you need." Yes it kind of hurt that she didn't immediately reciprocated the feeling he had for her. It didn't matter one bit, he had his Pokémon and he still had Alice as a friend at the very least.

”Thank you. I’m glad you understand and I may take your feelings into account the next time we meet.” Though, she did not want him to feel bad about it, so she had tried to put it gently as possible. Still, being friends was a better choice and she did made a lot of friends at the academy so far and there might be other people she might make friends with. She looked at her watch and it was getting rather late at this hour. “Hmm. It’s getting rather late for me. Shouldn’t we be going home if we’re finished with eating?” The dragonfly noticed that some of the rich people inside the restaurant were leaving along with some of the teens staying inside to chat. Tidus seemed to feel tired after eating, but he wanted to stay by her side for a little bit. She stroked his metallic skin once more as she whispered soft soothing words to comfort him. Time did seem to fly by when she hung out with someone.

Nodding in agreement to the statements that she had made. It was getting late and he had to get up early to make it to the bathroom before other guys do. He was always the last to get to the bathroom to take shower and such. Luckily the next day was Saturday and there were no classes. But he still wanted to get stuff out of the way, because he might head to the pier Sunday to see what he could find. Seeing that Alice was ready to go he stood and helped her out of her chair. Ophelia was perched on his shoulder looking around watching the Vibrava hover next to Alice.
Aki scratched Ophelia on the head and walked out of the restaurant with Alice and her two pokemon. "So what do you have planned for this weekend?" He asked as they started walking toward the Academy.

As soon as they left the restaurant, she returned the Aron back inside his Pokeball since he was quite exhausted from walking around. The Vibrava wanted to be outside and had a good time hanging out with her trainer. ”Next weekend, I would probably go sightseeing at this district. The district probably has some attractions that I might see here.” Those tourists would recommend to her some stores that had the latest clothes and there might be some places that she hadn’t seen yet. That fancy restaurant was one of them and she had a good time eating some of the food that she had not eaten in a while. She might have to spend time with her Vibrava more often as the dragonfly would’ve loved to see the sights with her trainer and plus, it was a good way to bond with the rest of her Pokemon.

As they would back to the Academy he listened to Alice talked about what she was going to do. He nodded and watched as her Vibrava hovered near them. Ophelia was clinging onto his shoulder watching the dragonfly. She was opening up to new things but she was still kind of shy. Aki still didn't know how she was injured at the Mansion. How she had acted it seemed to be a random attack. Glancing back over to Alice he smiled, he was glad he won the battle but the way he went about getting the date night have cost him a relationship with her. Though only time would tell how she felt about him, and hopefully he'll get a second date.
"That sounds interesting. I might head over to the pier and see what the amusement park is all about. Let my Fletchling stretch her wings." As he finished finished speaking they had come to where they had to part ways. Her dorm was one way and his was the complete opposite. He was tempted to make a move but he was going to hold off and see what she was going to do. He didn't want to be too forward and ruin any chance he might have with her.

"Well, I guess this is where we part ways with one another. It was nice meeting you again, so I might have to let my Pokemon take a rest afterwards." The Vibrava seemed to be happy that she got to spend some time with her trainer and it looked like the Espurr was still shy of the dragonfly. Maybe the psychic kitten would open up more if she had not seen something traumatic, but that was just how it goes in this world. Waving good-bye to the Lava Dormer, she walked across the road to where her dorm was and was greeted by the sight of the graveyard once more. She had remembered that she had caught her Misdreavus there and she had also passed by the manor. It was good that the manor had not been vandalized in any way and finally, there was the Mana Dorms. And all the while, the dragonfly had hovered beside her and buzzed in response to the sight of her home. At least, home was her place to be as it had resembled the manor.
