Today was that day where she had agreed upon having a date with the Lava Dorm boy. Already, that seemed to be the most dreaded part since she had never been asked out before. Not one boy had actually asked her out until now. She checked her watch and it was almost at the appointed time, just a couple more minutes until she arrived at her destination. She was accompanied by her Mismagius where the purple ghost looked around the streets. It had taken a while before a restaurant finally caught her eye where it mainly served seafood. Missy floated beside her trainer as they opened the double doors to find a most marvelous sight. The people there were like rich people she saw on some movies and the tables had neat white cloth on them. The host was busy talking to some couple and their two children, so she sat down at one of the benches with Missy in tow. The ghost was curious about that restaurant, but she was more interested in the couple’s children.

It had been a nerve wracking thirty-two hours. Aki had gone through his entire wardrobe several times looking for the right clothes to ware for his date with Alice. Drago and Ophelia his Espurr were helped him pick the right clothes. He was wearing a pair of black slacks and a blue polo shirt. His hair was once again combed neatly unlike its usual unkept look. Aki was walkingg down the street with a bouquet of flowers in his hand and Ophelia riding on his shoulder. She refused to stay in her ball and insisted on joining them. He couldn't refuse such a cute face. Peering at his watch it was a little before 8 and he had a feeling Alice would already be there. Arriving at the restaurant they had agreed upon. Aki stopped infront of it and toon a ddeep breath and spoke to Ophelia. "Here goes nothing. Hope she likes the flowers" The flowers were just generic red roses and babies breath. His father had sent him money just for the evening. He was excited about the date he had to call his dad and tell him.
Opening the door after taking another deep breath. He scanned the area and spotted his date sitting on a bench with a purple ghost hovering by her. The Mismagius was more interested in the family talking to the maître d'. Smoothing out his shirt he approached the pair with Ophelia on his shoulder still. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long. These are for you." He said nervously, and when he gets nervous his accent becomes thinker than normal. "Oh, this is Ophelia." The Espurr gave a small and quiet meow, she was unsure of all the people but she could tell Alice was a good person also had a special gift. Once the family was taken to their seats Aki turned to the maître d'. "Kamakura, party of two" The maître d' nodded and gestured for them to follow him. Aki offered Alice his arm to escort her to the table.

And there he was with his Espurr and a bouquet of red roses. He didn’t arrive late which was good and she took the flowers. ”Oh, thank you. I don’t think you arrived late, so you’re okay.” Once the host was done talking and was showing them to their table, she linked her arm in his. Missy followed after her trainer while looking at all the rich people in their seats. The ghost had never seen such fancy clothes, but she was curious about the psychic cat on the boy’s shoulder. The Espurr did seem to be comfortable around the Mana Dormer which meant that psychic Pokemon were most likely friendly with the people that representing the dorm. And that psychic kitten was so cute which almost reminded her of her trip to the manor where she had found no psychic kitten, but a rare floating arm…thing. Needless to say, that floating arm was being taken care of by some other student and Lucia the Sigilyph seemed to be a replacement for that.

Once the host showed Alice and him for their table. Aki held the chair out for her to sit down. Ophelia hung on until he sat down himself. Then she climbed down to sit in his lap as he picked up the menu and started to look at it. Glance at Alice, he smiled and spoke. "You look amazing tonight, and so do you." He said to Alice then to her Mismagius. Aki thought if was going to date a Pokémon trainer he would try and get on the good side of her team. "How are you doing tonight?" He asked then glancing back at the menu really quick waiting for her answer. He wasn't sure what to order. His dad told him some tips but he didn't really knew what to apply to what. He really liked her and didn't want to mess it up. And he was pretty sure after beating her in a battle didn't scare her off then flubbing up on a date wouldn't sink the boat.

Sitting down at the seat he presented for her, she glanced at the menu before she heard a compliment along with one directed at Missy. “Why, thank you. You look dashing yourself and of course, you look so cute, Ophelia.” Well, there was something that should get on the psychic cat’s good side too and the purple ghost took the compliment happily. Considering that she was a female ghost, most people would assume she was once an ugly witch in life. “I’m doing good. How about you?” The restaurant sure was crowded with people dining and children talking with each other. There were even a few teens looking at their phones while the parents talked to each other about the latest news. It actually reminded her of that other restaurant that she had supposed to dine with Amanda, but apparently they got sidetracked at a boutique. They did have fun dressing up the little poisonous seahorse that time.

"Thank you" Aki said looking down at Ophelia. She gave a joyous meow and smile. Hr had forgotten than he had put a pink bow in her hair. His sister had sent it to him when he told her about catching a Espurr. It was kind of funny, his mom, sister and now he all have an Espurr. Theirs had evolved into Meowstics already but he was sure Ophelia was happy a Espurr.
Finding what he wanted in the menu he set it down. Aki took a drink of the water they had brought them. "I'm doing great. I'm just dreading Island Navigation." He couldn't think of anything so he just turned the conversation to school. Alice probably didn't want to discuss school and he had no idea what to say. He had never been on a date before. Smiling at his date. He noticed the Mismagius was a very curious Pokémon. She kept scanning the room and looking at the families. While Ophelia found something to occupy her attention.

"That's good. I've been looking forward to the next Island Navigation class, though PE might be my favorite class so far." She noticed that Missy seemed to be very curious of the people that dined there and she might need some other ghost to play with. Ophelia seemed to be occupied with something else entirely and she actually had a pink bow in her hair. "I think Nefertiti should play with you, Missy. Would you like that?" The purple ghost nodded and her trainer pulled out the Academy Ball containing the female Cofagrigus. With a click, the living sarcophagus was released outside and smiled with glee as she turned to her partner in crime. Seems like they're planning something sinister from the looks on their faces. Most ghosts were mischievous and tended to play tricks on unsuspecting people. On the other hand, there was the seafood that the rich people were eating.

Chuckling a little as Alice said she was looking forward to Island Navigation. Aki didn't like it because of the teacher, if was because for the physical activity that they would be doing. He was in good shape but that was just his natural body type. Aki did lift some weights before coming to the Academy but that was the most physical activity he did. He hated running and sports of any kind. He did enjoy battling pokemon, and that was kind of a sport. "That's cool, my parents made me choose Island Navigation or P.E. I wasn't going to take either. But my favorite class is Breeding 101. Ms. Brennan is my favorite teacher." He said taking another drink of his water. See her release another ghost Pokémon. This was was a Cofagrigus. Watching the two ghosts start talking, Aki knew he would have to worry about the plotting of the two. Ophelia was still preoccupied by whatever caught her attention.
After a while the waiter came by and asked for their order. "Yes, I'll have the sashimi and the Miso soup. And with a jasmain tea. Thank you." The waiter jotted down his order then turned to Alice. After she order Aki asked "So what brought you here to Gray Garden?" He wasnt sure if he asked her that yet.

And the waiter had came to their table and asked for their order. ”I will have the sushi and iced tea, thank you.” After that was done, she turned to her ghosts and they were chatting away like there was no tomorrow. Seems like they were actually planning to give some of those stand-alone couples a scare. It was no problem as they were being mischievous like all ghosts do, but the manager might not like it. Still, they had to have their fun and the Espurr was busy doing something at the other side of the table. And then, Aki had asked her a question which was the same as what he asked her when they were at the beach. Sometimes, it would be best to answer that even if she actually answered it before anyway. ”I came here to learn about something new and hope to absorb some information that I might need for having a future job or something.” Sushi was definitely delicious since she had not tasted this kind of food before, but would’ve liked to try it.

When Alice answered the question, he remembered that he had asked her before. He was so nervous he was repeating himself. The date wasn't going so what in his mind. The two ghost were doing their own thing, as well as Ophelia. The tiny feline was enjoying herself. He remember rescuing her from the Manor. She was injured and frightened, it was like she was attacked by other Pokémon or something. "I remember now." He said as the waiter brought them their drinks. He poured his tea into his cup and drank it slowly. It was really good, better than what he could get at the store back home.
"I want to apologize. The only way I thought you would go out with me, was if it was a stipulation. But once the battle was made and you said that I would have to buy you dinner if you won. Thats when I realized you would've gone gone out with my anyways. I felt like and idiot after I realized that." As he talked Ophelia could tell her trainer was sad about something. She stopped what she was doing and snuggled up against him. Aki did feel like an idiot, but after a battle is made there is no turning back. While a few moments the waiter came back with their food. Setting the Miso Soup and Sashimi in front of him, he waited for Alice to get hers.

And finally, the food had arrived and she could tell that this sushi was going to be delicious. As she took a sip of her iced tea, she heard Aki apologizing for what he had done and that the battle was inevitable once he had said that she would’ve gone out with him anyway. ”It’s okay. You don’t have to apologize. I think this date is actually going smoothly, so don’t feel bad about yourself.” She had not been privy to his crush yet, but she had a feeling that she had to play along lest he get kind of upset that this would be a bad date. She noticed that the Espurr seemed to snuggle up to him once the cat had felt that her trainer was sad. Nefertiti and Missy seemed to have some fun trying to scare some of the young couples around here and some of those couples had been shaking in fear.

Picking up his chopsticks he took a bite of his Sashimi. It was really good, being from Kalos he hadn't had much sushi that was good. He then heard Alice tell him not to worry about how he had gone about getting the date. HD felt a little better hit still he felt he could've just out right asked her. He wasn't a very confident person when it came to girls. But put him on the battle field and his confidence is raised. "Thanks you, yeah it is going to good" He stated after swallowing his food. He had gotten threw about half of the Sashimi and picked one up. "Would you like to try one? Its really good." Aki asked holding out for Alice to eat right off of his chopsticks.

“Of course.” She ate the sashimi right off the chopsticks and he was right. It actually tasted delicious to her tongue. She wondered if ghosts could eat, but she did want to introduce another recently caught member to food if he could actually eat any. With another click of the Academy Ball, the Aron was sent out and curiously looked around until his eyes rested on the food in front of his trainer. She could tell that he looked famished and wasn’t sure if he was actually allowed to eat human food. Maybe some canine Pokemon were allowed to eat food, so he was okay. Picking the Aron up so that he could rest on her lap, he looked at the sushi before looking up at her for approval. She broke off a piece of the sushi she was given and gave it to the iron-clad Pokemon who ate it happily. ”Do you like it, Tidus? I can give you more of it if you want to.” The Aron nodded and waited as she ate some of her sushi and gave him more pieces of sushi.

Aki smiled as Alice ate the food he offered her. The date was going a lot better than he thought kt would. He took a little piece of the sashimi and gave it to Ophelia. She purred slightly and gave a happy noise. Aki scratched her hard and looked over at Alice as she released a third Pokémon. It was her Aron, Tidus. He felt bad for the little guy, he had fell to his Nosepass easily but looked like it wasn't bothering him. It could be that be was getting fed at the moment. Aki ate most if the last piece of his sashimi and then fed the last little bit to his Espurr. She let out a happy vocalizationand hhugged Aki. "They seem to like the food as much as we do."
Then Aki paused for a moment. He had to know something, it had been bothering since he made the challenge for the battleand heard her stipulation. "Alice, would you have gone out with me if I had just asked?" He paused again and the added. "Drago wanted to know" He had blamed the question on his Fraxureand it was going to not be pretty if he hears about it from Ophelia. But it was risk he had to take.

The sushi tasted delicious and it looked like Tidus was actually enjoying the sushi she fed to him too. Meanwhile, the two ghosts were having fun scaring some of the teenage couples that dined here and some of the gentlemen and ladies ate away at their food as if they saw nothing. Silence was broken for a moment when Aki had asked if she had gone out with him if he had just asked. A stipulation was a stipulation, but his Fraxure also wanted to know about it too. ”Well, I could have gone out with you if you just asked, but I believe you lack the confidence to speak to the opposite gender.” She quietly ate her sushi while she fed some more morsels to her Aron who munched on it happily. It didn’t seem like the ghosts would be able to eat food since they were mostly dead and not living in this world anymore. Pokemon that were alive could eat food if they were able to since the Aron was eating his share of her food.
