"Don't worry about it! It's a pleasure helping you out!" Tanya said, patting her on the back while smiling happily. She was glad she could help out her friend with something that she was personally good at. Helping out Seria also served as good revision for herself since teaching was one of the best ways to remember something. She definitely was getting her mileage out of this.
"However, if you do want to pay me back, there is one thing you could do." Tanya said, enlongating the words and putting emphasis on the 'do' and the 'one'. She stayed silent for a moment, wanting the anticipation to linger in the air a little before she finally continued on with her request.
"Once you've sorted out your team, you need to battle me. Show me what you've got. Just a warning though, I am not going to hold back."

Seria smiled as Tanya said it was alright. However, things got a little bit more serious as Tanya soon mentioned thereafter that there was one thing Seria could do, and that was having a battle once she was ready. When that was said and done, Seria nodded. "Alright. I'll do my best and try not to disappoint you," Seria's voice was nothing like the chirpy, carefree one she had moments ago. It was a little bit more serious. "Thank you for all this." she seemed a lot more solemn. To Tanya, this sudden change in tone should tell her that if Seria really gets down to it, she can be focused and get the job done after all.

Tanya was shocked at the change of tone in Seria's voice. Normally used to the light, happy but ditzy voice that she normally had one, the added seriousness was something she wasn't really expecting. That didn't mean that she wasn't happy about it though. Far from it, it proved to her that Seria was indeed serious about getting better. A part of her just wanted to gush about it to her, but that probably was just her being silly. It made her feel proud though.
"Hey, I'd really like to watch your next battle, just to see how you are when in a battle. I wanna see it from an outsider's perspective." Tanya mentioned, remembering that the seats had stands where people could sit. Another reason she wanted to be there though was for moral support. For someone to tell her that she did a good job after leaving a match. That's probably the words Seria wanted to hear. It would most definitely help keep her motivated.

Seria maintained her serious demeanor and composure as Tanya seemed a little shocked at the sudden change in disposition. Soon, the Wave dormer said she would like to watch Seria's next battle, just to see how she was from an outsider's perspective. Seria nodded in response. "You don't need to ask. I'd be happy if you were able to watch my fights from an outsider's perspective. I greatly appreciate your support. After all, friends help friends, right?" Seria simply said solemnly, but despite how serious and firm she sounded, almost resolute, she had a soft smile on her face. Seria was sure that she needed to battle some more and get more experience. But she also kept in mind all the things Tanya said as this week, Seria would go out into the wilds to capture more Pokemon.

Tanya was impressed at Seria. Knowing that she was not the type to battle, she still wanted to get better. That was something that Tanya couldn't help but admire. It was a similar mentality to hers and if she needed support, Tanya was more than willing to provide.
"You know, we might be able to catch someone in the battle dome if we go now." Tanya mused, jumping out of her seat and smiling back at Seria. "What do you say to that Seria? Ready for a challenge?"
She wanted to see her fight. She wanted to see her will on the battlefield clash with her opponent's. She was ready to give her support and show Seria how much fun battling can be. Heck, if she got strong, maybe she'd be able to find a legendary pokemon. That would be pretty cool. Imagine if you could catch something like that. You'd probably wreck your opponents due to their sheer power.
That would be pretty impressive.

Seria nodded and soon Tanya jumped out of her seat and smiled back. Tanya then said to Seria that they should go to the battle dome right away and go for a challenge. Seria nodded again and eked out a soft yes. Then she went on to mention some things. "Sure. We can go there immediately now. I'll give it my all this time. Let's go!" she stood up slowly from her seat and stretched for a moment. Seria would try her best this time. She wouldn't allow herself to be disappointed by another crushing loss. If she was gonna go down, she was gonna go down in a glorious blaze, not another fizzling sparkler. Seria tried to re-ignite confidence in herself. It certainly helped that Tanya was there to give her support.
But she was doing it for her own sake, to prove that she could power through and see it to the very end - to attain that "impossible dream."
