Rollin' our sleeves. [KYRIE]

It didn't take long, or it didn't feel like too much time had passed when Kyrie found a place for the last book of that particular section. There was a boom of fiction than history so it took more stretching than she would've thought but when she had finished with that Kyrie practically jumped with joy. Now there was only one section left, Romance. A subject that Kyrie herself personally knew nothing about. Pokemon and trainer trotted on over to that aisle, both intent on fixing that part up. Mammon was raising shelves when Kyrie spotted her fellow student reading one of the fallen books. She eyed him curiously before shaking her head and going back to work. She made several stacks of the fallen books, sitting on the floor as she tried to order them out.
She tried to sort anyway, her eye constantly sneaking back up to the book in Oleg's hand. Was romance really that interesting? The girl looked down to her own stacks, staring at them for a moment before taking one off the top and flipping it open. Now she wasn't much of a paper reader so the girl hadn't an idea of what to expect. Even as she did read, she couldn't really understand it. The only thing coming to mind was those types of things were what her mother read and often times pushed young Kyrie to read. (That never happened though.)

Oleg mumbled to himself as he then closed the book, proceeding to then write something down onto paper before placing it in his pocket. He had not seemingly noticed Kyrie yet as he lifted up the last shelf, placing back rest of the books that belonged to it. He then took out his PGS along with the piece of paper, beginning to write something into it while looking at the paper, then closing the PGS. He then finally turned around, noticing Kyrie.
"Oh. Eh, 'ello." He look around awkwardly. "So... Eh, you finished with the other parts? I mean, I just finished here and decided to check out what was in offer here... I have a bit of a secret passion about romantic books and poetry. Don't tell anyone though, it's kinda... You know, It's hard to describe." He scratched the back of his head.

Alas, the Mana girl couldn't bring herself to read more than the first few pages before she placed the paper contraption down. She had trouble reading any sort of book that wasn't history or some linguistic textbook just for the simple fact that many of these types of books had no pictures. She was above reading children's stories but still Kyrie liked to look at artists' works just as she liked to look at the conception artwork for games. It was just a thing for her. She sighed, returning to sliding books on their proper shelves once more. Mammon didn't notice her little 'break', still picking up and fixing the bookshelves into their places.
Kyrie glanced over at Oleg to see if he was still reading, that which he was not at that point. He looked as if he was writing something down before pocketing the scrap. He noticed her eye on him, admitting to his like of this sort of thing. Her head bobbed, before turning back to the shelves. She placed another few books on the mid-levels before speaking, "Mama likes this sort of thing. I don't really get it though." It more of an idle comment than anything really.

Oleg shrugged, moving to help her to place the last few books. "In a way, it's preparation for the future. Most want to find their mate at some point in life, and I... Well, in a way I just find it a overly described way on how to experience the feeling of love whenever it comes." Oleg sighed slightly, moving more books up. His usual cynical attitude was gone. He was clearly speaking from his heart here.
"Although, I do still find it hard to understand. Usually I just prefer to look at life in a way that entertains me, yet love is the only emotion I cannot see myself twisting into anything more than what it is, yet I cannot even truly confess myself to someone I do like." Oleg finished moving the books, huffing as he wiped sweat from his brow. He then looked to Kyrie. "Oh, I must have bored you with my blabbering. Apologies."

Yeah, he completely lost her. Kyrie merely stared at him as went on, talking about life and mates. First off, she didn't even like 'life', second of all she was a newborn baby in the romantic business. Mammon had romantic experience than did for arceus sake! To keep herself from sounding like a complete nincompoop, Kyrie kept herself from saying anything, only nodding occasionally as if she understood. And when he apologized for rambling, Kyrie could only shake her head. It wasn't blabbering if she lost track of the whole thing was it? It was easier to think it wasn't for her. An eye went on him, wondering how he was able to sweat so much in an air conditioned environment, then she remembered. He was picking up cases, unlike her.

Oleg finished the cases that went to the higher ones, proceeding to then handle the middle ones. "You know. I'm pretty sure you've never really had an idea, but have you ever found anyone to like you in the romantic manner?" Oleg looked at her for a moment before returning to the collection of cases. "I ask out of pure curiosity. You can feel free to not answer if it feels like something you don't want to answer." He then finished the middle row, beginning to handle the lower row as he knelt down slightly, placing the books down. He then finished, standing up.

Now came the question, the question that Kyrie's mother always asked whenever she did manage to go outside and was too baffled to answer back. She had an annoyed look on her face, wondering why people thought that she had such a thing but let it fade as a sigh left her. "I haven't." She replied simply, echoing the same answer she would give her mother whenever she could get past the lady's enthusiasm. Mammon caught wind of the conversation, keeping a careful ear on the words being said. He placed a finished placing the last few rows on the shelves, his glowing eyes aiming toward Oleg as the espeon stood there watching. Just... watching.
"Mama asks me that question a lot too." Kyrie added, "Even Papa says he can get me a fiance. I don't get it. Why do I need a companion?" The girl huffed at that last part, her irritation returning with a little pout on her face. She half expected the Bolt Dormer to understand and on the other side she expected him to say the same things her parents did. It was a complicated thing.

"Truth be told. Some people just don't want anyone. It's truthfully understandable, to be honest." Oleg rolled his shoulders, cracking his fingers a bit as he stroked his beard stubble. "It's just expected as a social norm, but now-a-days people are more accepting of just... No generic sexual preference, to be honest." Oleg then looked around, nodding to himself as he noticed there was nothing else to lift.
"You know." Oleg then suddenly stopped, ondering for a moment on what he was going to say. He WAS about to just confess his feelings. Hell, he kind of wanted to, but eh. He slowly shook his head. "Eh, 's nothing important related to the moment at hand, I feel. I'll talk to you about it trough the PGS later." He then turned his head to her, smiling slightly. "We seem to be done and free to head back to our dorm rooms."

Ah so he did understand. Unconsciously, the girl breathed a sigh of relief. She went to reach for the next book, realizing that they had all been put up. Guess chatting really did speed things along in some cases. Something to remember. Kyrie moved to stretch, bending down to let Mammon up on her shoulder. Standing straight up again when her attention was called. Though nothing came out of it which puzzled her, showing through her tilted head. Well if it wasn't said, it wasn't important. She nodded at mention to the dorms, a quick smile filtering across her face as she began walk away, turning to give him a wave goodbye.

Oleg nodded. He then begun to walk away, taking out his PGS as he wrote into it for a long while. He then pressed send message about halfway trough with his trip to the bolt dorm. "Sadly, I must admit I have a crush on you. Of course, this can be easily avoided with me just now acknowleding it. I feel rather bad confessing this to you trough the PGS, but if I said it straight up, I fear I might stutter and... Well, you probably get the idea. Please, do not consider this as a end to our friendship, but just as a confirmation from me that I cherish it and that I wish to maybe someday bring it even further then that."
After that, he had seemingly hit the word cap, quickly writing another message, this time slightly faster and with less overall cheesiness. "sorry. had to write that out in proper grammar to feel impressiv. eh, wanna play some cleffairy kart when you get home trough the net?"

Kyrie didn't get to PGS until after she got to her room, even then she hadn't looked at it right away, thinking it to be a message about playing more games together. She placed the device down on the nightstand, going to throw away the wrappers in her pockets and change into her pajamas. Mammon had jumped off her shoulder, now lingering on her bed as the screen blinked with a mail icon. The espeon tapped it, thinking himself being useful until he saw the message. Now he couldn't read but somehow knowing that the message was from the Bolt boy, the purple cat instantly hit the delete button. Snickering as he went, ready to delete the next when Kyrie thumped him on the head. She gave him a brief scolding, taking the device and reading 'cleffairy kart'. She typed in a quick reply, 'yeah, I'll meet u on the net.' Meanwhile, trollcat rolled on the bed with a smug grin on his face.

Oleg shrugged as he arrived to his dorm room, seemingly gaining no answer from Kyrie. Maybe she had just taken that whole confession thing as a "eh" kind of thing? Oh well, he proceeded to lie down on his bed, sending a invite request to her as he then activated the in built mike of the system as he selected the course and his character already. "Yo." He spoke into the mic, looking around as he yawned slightly, scratching his chest. "Hot damn, that work in the library really tired me out. Teaches me not to release Hoare, eh." He chuckled slightly, waiting to see if Kyrie would get her mic on or not.

Kyrie dropped down on her bed, lying on her stomach as she logged in and proceeded. Accepting the invite, the girl proceeded to turn on her mic while she made Mammon into a pillow. The cat didn't complain, merely curling as she made him into a headrest. "That rock is evil." were the first words into the contraption, not bothering to say a simple hello. Somehow the very mention of the demon rock set her off. "Ah, I think Mammon deleted something. Sorry." She probably needed to add that and so she did, hearing the cat let out a happy cry at the mention of his name. She squished him a bit before returning her attention back to the game.

"... Oh, he did? Well... Eh, it was just this one thing. I'll re-send it to you after this session, 'kay? I got it saved up on the notepad app." Oleg nodded to himself, forgetting she could not really see her. He then watched as the loading screen faded, revealing Road to Rainbow, the final stage of the normal single player cups. As he begun to ride, he whistled the theme to the level, doing it surprisingly well. "This has always been my favorite stage." Oleg then returned his focus to racing. "Or, wait, actually, I'll send the message to you now so you can check it later."
Oleg then dragged out the notepad app as he was racing, slowing down for a few seconds as he copied the message, pasting it over and sending it. "Sent." He shivered a bit from excitemnet. Oh crap, what had he done? He could not delete it anymore.

"Mmkay." He didn't seem to surprised that Mammon would do such a thing but then Mammon was also pretty predictable when you knew him. As she waited, the girl picked her character and went on to the loading screen. She listened to the whistle on the other side as the track came up. She was ready to jump into 'the zone' when he suddenly said he'd send it to her. Was it really that important? They were in the middle of a race... The girl huffed, waiting till the end of the race before uttering a 'brb' and hopping on over to the mail. She was just about to press the new tab when the PGS suddenly shut down. The girl stared at it for a few moments. Her finger tapped at the on/off button, watching it go on and then turning off a mere second later. Was the battery out?
Puzzled, Kyrie went over to her charger - intent of getting that message when the device was suddenly taken from her hands by an invisible source. Looking over to her bed she saw the source, Mammon was on his back begging for a belly-rub. It was rather cute, although he was actually only acting - his intent really on making sure that the boy had very, very little emotional contact with his trainer. After all she was his trainer and he'd be damned if he let some guy he didn't approve of take her.
Alas when Kyrie did try to take her PGS back, the espeon kept it out of her reach even after she went and petted him. He even went as far as to pull out Leviathan who stole away the handheld and floated out an opened window that she was very sure wasn't opened before. It was safe to say that the girl thought they were teasing her and thus decided to do nothing, hoping they would tire of their game. She would have to apologize again for not getting the message right away but for now the girl was content with squishing her naughty cat. Little did she know, Leviathan who was still hovering outside had turned on the system and deleted the message on order, chuckling ever so creepily as he did so.
