Amanda raised her head slightly, shifting her legs to the side so that she could see Oleg.
''Oui...'' she replied calmly, pausing the game as she spoke. ''I got it when I came to the island, it's not much: but it's relaxing to fiddle with it now and then.''
The idea he presented certainly was interesting if nothing else. Although she had little intention of trying to meet people on her days away from people, so long as he didn't bother her she would have no particular problem with stumbling into him now and then.
''Sounds like a plan...'' she muttered, going back to her game. Oleg seemed to be muttering and scribbling something, although she couldn't particularly be interested.

"Right." Oleg then returned to reading, the only noises coming from him being the occasional whistle and the constant sound of scribbling. He muttered to himself, crossing something. It was rather peaceful, really. Maybe this agreement could fruit into a great way to spend time whenever both wanted to be relatively alone.
And then he decided to break the silence. It will just be a simple question, it won't kill anything, will it? Oh Arceus, he hoped so. "Ehm... You're from Kalos, right? I heard the country has lots of history with romantics and such, and I kinda need help with this one poem here..."

Amanda sighed, rolling her eyes as she shut the screen of her game device, sitting up. There went all notions of silence and quiet, as now Oleg was asking for her help with something or other.
''Oui...'' she responded softly, rising from her chair. ''I suppose I could give you a hand, I do have a bit of a passion for these stories myself.'' Although she really wanted to just sit away and play her video games, she wouldn't deny people her aid if they needed it. That was essentially after all the reason she hid in the first place, rejection would be rude.
Calmly, she walked over to him, hiding her slight annoyance at the interruption as she looked at what he was doing. Leaning down to see the words better.
''So what's the problem?''

"It's nothing major, it'll just take a second." Oleg nodded, tapping his pen against a verse he had written onto the page. "I'm just wondering how I could link the word purple into something that leads onto first the description about one's long, flowing hair. Then a simple lead up to one's face, which would let to finalizing with describing the poem's main targets laugh. Just a few advices on linking this together."
Oleg nodded once he finished speaking. That might be a bit more than he intended, but since there was someone who knew about this stuff, might as well ask. Won't hurt, right?

Amanda studied the poem Oleg had written with some degree of bemusement. She hadn't originally taken the boy for a lover of writing poetry and not just reading it. That the poem was very unsubtle attempt to try and win a girl over, now that was just a bit silly.
She glanced him over, he wasn't quite the most attractive male at the academy. Indeed in a school that seemed full of overly fit and attractive boys and girls: the chubby giant stuck out like a bit of a sore thumb. Regardless, it was a cute thing that he was trying, and being romantic was certainly more genuine than what most tried in the romantic department.
It was the shame the poem was a bit of a mess. She shook her head, pointing to a line he had written.
''Non-non-non, you work yourself into a bad rythmn here!'' She grabbed a pencil and scribbled a small code onto a new piece of paper, explaining. ''What you want to do is switching the rhythmn to this, it allows you more freedom and you can...'' The Kalosian went on, spending a few minutes explaining a slightly more intricate poetry technique she favored. Hoping the boy could understand it properly.

Oleg nodded intently as the girl spoke, sinking all the info in as he, after a moment of thinking, understood the information and used the eraser on the end of his pen to remove the poem, tapping it against his chin for a moment before beginning to write again. It was a style he had not used, but that he had read about before a few times. After a few minutes of scribbling, he had a basic, more flowing structure as he then nodded in thanks to the girl.
"Heh, thanks. This should help my writing massively." He smiled at the girl, scratching the back of his neck for a moment. "I'm sorry 'bout that rage explosion earlier. I have a few problems with my anger sometimes..." He coughed slightly. "Feel free to return to your PGS, I just need to finish a few more things and then I can leave you alone."

''Of course, I am happy to help!''
A satisfied smile on her fact, Amanda patted the boy on the shoulder, returning to her seat. She popped her legs back onto the desk, about to resume playing when a thought occured to her. ''So let me ask you this...'' she mused loudly. ''Who exactly are you trying to romance with that poem?''
She giggled playfully, starting up her game half attentively as she glanced towards Oleg. ''After all, it's quite obvious you are interested in someone. So who is it? I do think I have a bit of a right to know since I helped you co-create this little piece.''
She paused for a moment. ''And please don't try to convince me it's for ''school'' either!''

Oleg bit his lip. Dammit, dammit, dammit, she had to ask. Or well, it was not that emberasing for him, but he more thought it would be more like that for her, what with her social skills and such not being the best around. He then sighed, nodding to himself as he then spoke.
"Well. It's Kyrie Vyler from mana dorm, if you've met or seen her, or even heard of her. I'd not be surprised if you have not seen, met or even heard of her. She's kind of antisocial, in a way like me. But it's that antisociality and her awkwardness that's..." Oleg shook his head. "I'm about to ramble again."

Amanda nodded understandingly, unable to help but giggle as Oleg described his paramour. She had been correct after all, and yet as he began to describe the girl, her heart sank somewhat. The large boy was a nice enough person, and while she didn't know the other girl: she knew enough to feel as if...
''Perhaps... if she is antisocial, are you sure you are in the right here?'' She asked him. A serious expression now on her face. ''If a girl is anti-social and awkward, usually that means a bit of introversion. While I don't doubt your affections, I'm not certain surprising her with a grand gesture like this would be appreciated, least of all returned.''

"Mhm... I'm mostly writing them for practice if I ever do get her to open up. Not that I am trying to force her! But I... Ach, here I go rambling once more. I mostly just write short poems and keep them in store for whenever... Or if, she would open up, so that I could be more grandiose about the feeling. For now, I'm just being a friend to her, who has admitted a want to go deeper. It might go somewhere, it might not go somewhere, but I still wish to atleast keep her close to me, if not as a loved one, at the very least a friend."
Oleg blinked, blushing a bit at his sudden burst. "Well. I did not mean to ramble about it, but..."

Her mind wandered, contemplating what Oleg had said. ''I'm still not sure that's the best of ideas...'' she sighed, closing her game devise and dropping it in her bag. Arranging her legs so she could better see the boy, all while giving him a very nice view.
''Sometimes people don't share your feelings, and if you pursue a friendship with that sort of approach, there is always the risk that she may not respond the same way, ever. If that is the case, then it's hardly fair to you or to her that you see a friendship as a stepping stone towards something more. You can't click with everyone, so to say. Thus, how would you feel if someone was only your friend because they wanted something more? I'm sorry, but that's just how it sounds to me!''
Amanda had a grim look on her face, although Oleg was a nice enough person that she could care what he did. She did feel like the boy was rushing into something foolish. At the very least, she could warn him.

Oleg scratched his nose as he listened to Amanda lecturing him. He did feel slightly annoyed, THANKFULLY focusing on her face as she spoke. He then continued scratching it for a moment as he thought about those words. He then grunted a bit. "We were friends before the whole confession I did. I never meant it to lead to anything else, and at the moment, we're just friends. Said friendship is not being used for anything other than just that, being friends."
He sighed, hanging his head low for a moment. "Y'know. I understand where ya are coming from, and hell, I do look and feel the part of someone who would rush into something stupid. But I respect the friendship we have, and I have no plans of using it to..." He shook his head. "I'm repeating myself, aren't I."

''You are.''
Amanda sighed, putting her hands behind her head thoughtfully. ''I suppose you are the only one who really understands what he is doing in this situation, I couldn't frankly say that I agreed with your approach, but mine is an opinion formed by different circumstances...'' she mused.
''Unfortunately, that means I can't help you much with this beyond what I have said already. If it works or if your relationship crashes into an unholy fire: that's not something I can assure either way. Despite this, I do wish you all the best of luck with that you will do. Just try not to get hurt...''

"I've got hurt over worse things than being rejected by a crush and a friendship collapsing, believe me. Looks like this and my additude have given me some time to just get used to, excuse me for my bad language here, shit being poured on me. It'll hurt if it happens. I'll be a wreck. But I'll build myself back up again. I've always done that."
Oleg nodded, folding his arms a bit. He grunted a bit. So, he had talked about it with Tanya before, so why did he feel so awkward? He then released his hands from their fold, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "... Ehm... Your leg's possition is a bit... Distracting." He coughed. He had always had a fascination with feet, and in a situation like this, it made him uncomfortable.

The young girl sighed once more, wondering if there were perhaps some book she had read or some piece of advice that she could give, something that wouldn't put Oleg or his friend in the risk of emotional damage. ''Just be careful...'' she replied.
As the boy brought up the topic of her legs, though. A grin touched her face instead, prompting her to arrange the pair to be more visible.
''Oh? Is that so?~'' She giggled, keeping her lower body nice and visible. For some reason or another, the opportunity to tease Oleg some more seemed like a fun little thing to do. Perhaps something she would have scoffed at before coming to the academy, although her recent relationship found the girl being far more confident in her looks and the impact they had on others.
''Now why would my legs...'' she wiggled them playfully. ''Be so distracting?''
