Battle Tactics Class #2 - Instructor: Catherine Eisenberg

Adriel nodded to herself, finishing her notes. Then, her interest was piqued when the teacher offered them the free use of a TM. That was pretty neat. Going up to the container holding all the TMs, she weighed her options...actually, holy crap. There were a lot more TMs than she realized. Many of them for moves she had never heard of. However, there was one move in particular that caught her eye, and the more the thought about it, the more intrigued she was. Especially since she was curious as to how they would even use the attack in the first place.

With a nod, she grabbed the TM in question and sent out her Doduo, immediately using the item on the two-headed bird. The Doduo let out a cry, signifying that he had learned the attack, and Adriel smiled, returning the TM to the container. Then, looking to the teacher, she spoke "Thank you ma'am. See you next class~!" And with that, she returned the Doduo and headed out.

The teacher continued her lecture where she had said that Infiltrator was a good ability to use and that guarding a Pokemon was a good idea for some. She had taken note that some Pokemon can actually bypass certain moves with this ability and she hoped to catch a Pokemon that has this ability sometime later. And with that, class was over as the teacher had stated that students may use one TM on their Pokemon. She went over to the suitcase before deciding on a pink disc which was Dazzling Gleam. She let the disc work its magic on her Misdreavus since the ghost would probably need a move to deal with these Dragon types and a coverage move for Dark types. She had learned that it was a move that hits all targets as well, so it might be useful. She left the classroom, content that she had learned something new from this class and that she would have to implement new strategies for her team.

Carefully James listened to what the teacher had to say before writing down any important information.  He also wrote down some things to search up after class, like this so called Rage Powder.  He'd never heard of it, but apparently it drew all the enemy moves towards the user.  It was something that could be beneficial in the future depending on the circumstances.  Still listening to Miss Eisenberg he placed his pencil down on the desk after she said we could get a free TM use for the class.  It was really nice of her to give her students a TM to use at the end of the class, that's what James thought anyway.  He simply waited in his chair for a little bit, tidying up his school supplies while he waited for the other students to use the TMs.  Once his things were tidy he got up and grabbed a Tm for Earthquake before heading back to his desk.  With a few clicks of his Pokeball he released Connor, the Larvitar.  Once Connor was out he let the Tm work its magic, before placing it back in its case.  

"Thank you Miss, have a nice day."  He said, before he grabbed his school supplies.  Now making his way for the doorway Connor the Larvitar waddled along behind him as to make sure he didn't get separated.  A few moments later James was out the door, and heading to his next class.

Seria sighed as she idly listened to Eisenberg, she was one of the few people who did not actually take notes, or if she did, she took very few notes. Seria grew increasingly worried about Amanda, who displayed behavior that was very uncharacteristic of her, she didn't know 'this Amanda.' Something about that incident obviously spurred her to behave this way, and it didn't help matters when Tanya confronted Amanda and said they needed to talk. Then she left. Seria sighed and stood up and looked at Amanda for a moment. "Please... I'll be here for you, okay? You can talk to me about this. Try to think things through... Don't be so reckless? You'll endanger yourself. I can't bear to see you risk yourself getting hurt or even breaking laws..." Seria pouted sadly before going ahead to the desk of Miss Eisenberg.

She silently nodded politely towards the teacher in sincere thanks, sniffling a little before taking out a TM. She applied TM93, Wild Charge, to the Sawsbuck Antenora who she promptly sent out just for this purpose. Once all was said and done, Seria went to Amanda and nodded. "I'll wait for you, Amy, dear. I'm worried for you."

Benji quickly jotted down every note possible as Ms. Eisenberg answered his question. He knew it depended on the situation but the information she gave him answered the question well. When she started to talk about other moves and strategies he tried to write them down as neat as possible, knowing he would be studying them later. Before he knew it the class was ending and he actually felt a little sad about that. He was enjoying learning all these strategies...well at least he'd have something to look forward to for the next class.

As he was putting his stuff away he noticed the teacher taking out a huge case, when she opened it he had to stop himself from dropping his jaw. They were allowed to use a TM? He hadn't heard that, well if he had been at the first class he probably would have known. The case was stock full of probably every TM you could think of and as the other students got up to get theirs he had to think fast. His mind went over all his Pokemon and what he wanted, and once a few of the other students finished he got up and approached the case. He let his fingers slide over them as he thought and when he made a decision he pulled out a yellow-colored TM.

Quickly he released his Absol, Kai, and showed the TM to the white Pokemon. Kai perked up, sniffing the odd contraption and then waited curiously. "This will be a good move to have," Benji said with a smile as the TM worked and Kai learned the new move. With a friendly nod to the teacher he placed the TM back in the case and returned his Absol. He looked around the room a bit and couldn't wait for the next class. "Well, time for another nap," he said with a yawn and headed off back to his dorm.

Action: Used TM25 (Thunder) on Kai the Absol.

[Meili Jie]

Well, with that class ended. Meili sighed and stood up from her seat. Her teacher offered a one-use TM to one of her Pokemon. Meili took a moment to think about what her teacher just said. She dug through her belt and took out the Diglett she recently obtained. It might do her some good to take some of her teacher's offensive advice to heart. Though she is still on the fence if she should evolve her Scyther, for now, this Diglett would make a good companion.

"Okay Saan, let's get you powered up. You need to get over your inability to hit flying types anyhow." Meili dug through and smiled at the TM. "Here you go." Meili sent out her Diglett...somehow having his own mold of Earth because it apparently is sensitive about others seeing its body.

With the TM applied, Meili returned Saan and went off. She had no further reason to be here after all.

Action: Giving Saan the Diglett a Rock Slide TM

[Amanda Dupomme]

Amanda shook her head, sighing as she gathered her things and paced towards the desk. Although she imagined after the events of the class, she was likely not meant to take a TM like the others.

Frankly, she didn't care. She knew what she wanted anyways, so a quick application of a disk to her Pokeball was all she needed, before she turned to leave the class. At the exist awaited Seria, yet Amanda passed the other girl without a word. There was no desire to converse about anything with the Nature Dormer. She had no intention of talking to Tanya either, to her it was all pointless chatter that would do little to change her mind.

With the teacher's closing notes, it would seem that it was time to leave. Once again, the girl had the choice of one use of TMs for one of her Pokemon. Considering the girl had chosen a TM for her Growlithe last time, she only saw it fitting that she choose one for her again. Going up to the desk, the student picked out a TM and applied it to Dasha. Afterwards, she waved at the teacher and gave Culaine one last petting before making her way out of class. Hopefully next class contained less weirdos than this one. It was bad enough that she had to deal with them in multiple classes.

Annie waited until most of the other students had left before she got to her feet. She didn't completely trust that her balance would be normal, given the state of her head, and she wanted as small an audience as possible in case it showed. She was especially waiting for Amanda to leave. Annie didn't want to have Amanda seeing the state she was in.

Finally, she got up--with a degree of steadiness which surprised herself--and, carrying Dušana, she approached the box from which they were allowed to borrow a TM to use. She considered it for a few moment, her hand hovering over one and then another, before selecting the perfect one and applying it to her companion. Then she left the room, still completely silent.

Even though he was annoyed at his aggravating fellow students, he enjoyed his second battle tactic class.  Not only was he able to get some serious pointers for future battles, but he even was helped come to the conclusion that he needed to get infiltrator.  Sure Protect would still be obnoxious, but he could worry about that one later.  For now, he would focus on the other topic--useful area of effect attacks.  What that meant was Cecillia was about to get a new move, and would be the next on his list to get some more training.  Walking up to the desk and waiting his turn, he flipped through the briefcase and pulled out one disk, holding it to the Pokeball in his hand and smiling at Catherine as he thanked her.  With that, he put the disc back and headed out of the class, head swimming with how he could use all of the new information.
