Who Run The World? Girls! (Astrid/Adriel/Seria)

The preperations had been made and Tanya was ready to go. Wearing the same clothes she wore when she went to the Party Pier, Tanya was excited about the plan she had concocted. Well, it wasn't really a plan, more like a night of infinite possibilities that was ready to be explored.

Bursting with excitement, she rushed towards Astrid and Seria and discussed having a laid-back night out in Marvo City, especially since most, if not all, the damage from the attack had been fixed by now. Thinking it wasn't the best idea to walk around town wearing uniforms, she recommended the girls wear some casual clothes since she wasn't sure how the town regarded the school, since she had heard that they were less than happy about the academy.

Astrid mentioned bringing a friend, a concept that both excited yet worried her. What if the girl didn't fit in with the group mojo that they had accumulated? Then again, if Astrid was bringing her, maybe she'd get by just fine. She probably should have confidence in Astrid bringing her along.

Wanting the night to start, she impatiently tapped her foot, checking her watch to see what time it was.

[Seria Floria]

Seria had decided to do some experimentation, once again she couldn't keep her mind off Amanda amidst all this, and so the idea of having a nice relaxing night out did please her, especially because Seria wanted to see if she could find a way to take the stress off her mind. However, to show that she really did care about Amy still, she dyed her hair blonde and set off to the designated meeting point dressed in her casual family attire, and eventually she met an impatient Tanya, tapping her foot in place and checking her watch.

"I do hope I am not late," Seria said, panting somewhat as it seemed she was in a rush to get here. "I hope I'm not keeping you waiting. I do hope that Astrid's friend will be pleasant, what do you think she will be like?" Seria wondered out loud.

Astrid had been excited for this ever since Tanya had brought up the idea.  She'd thoroughly enjoyed their last outing together, so when Tanya wanted to do something similar again Astrid had jumped on the idea immediately.  Then, when Tanya wanted to invite Seria along as well, Astrid had gotten a few ideas of her own.  Namely, to extend her own invitation to Adriel.  She'd made sure it was okay first, of course.  But it was, so she'd met up with Adriel beforehand and gone into town together with her.

On Tanya's suggestion, she'd gone without her usual uniform and instead opted for casual clothes consisting of a tank top and shorts, plus a jacket held at her side in case it got colder later in the night.  She'd let her hair down for the evening, rather than keeping her usual twintails, to further try and avoid recognition.  Not that it was going to magically make her impossible to pick out if someone paid enough attention, but she'd done a good job of not being completely obvious so far.

Meeting with Adriel beforehand had made Astrid a little bit later than she'd wanted to be, so they were the last ones to show up.  Once she got to the meeting spot, Astrid did a double-take on seeing them.  Namely, on seeing Seria, whom Astrid had thought was someone unfamiliar at first before realizing that she'd just dyed her hair.  But, once she was sure that it was, in fact, Seria, Astrid approached them with a familiar wave.  "Hey, hope we're not too late," she said.  "This is Adriel.  She's the friend I mentioned."  Astrid then turned back towards Adriel.  "Adriel, this is Tanya, and Seria."

Adriel was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events from earlier today. Just as she was debating on what to do tonight, Astrid approached her with an invitation to hang out with her and a couple other girls. Naturally, there was no way she could say no to such an offer. When it was recommended they dress casually, Adriel picked out a rather simple outfit and, once it was time to go, she met with Astrid. Then, she followed her to wherever it was that they were meeting at, and Adriel smiled. As they arrived, Adriel couldn't help but smile, as both of the the other girls seemed to be pretty cute. She could already tell she was going to enjoy this "girl's night out". 

After getting a closer look at the girls, she quickly realized that she recognized both of them. She had actually met Tanya before, where she proceeded to kick Adriel's ass in a Pokemon battle. As for Seria, it took her a moment to remember, but she was pretty sure she had seen her around the dorm. She never did find a good time to talk to her though, so this would be her first chance. Either way, once Astrid was done introducing them, she smiled brightly and offered a wave. "Tanya! Good to see you again! How have you been~?" Then she looked to Seria. "And nice to meet you. If I remember correct, I think I've seen you around the dorm...though...I can't help but feel like I'd have a better memory of seeing a sexy blonde..." Apparently, it didn't occur to her that she might have simply dyed her hair.

"Well that's something new." Tanya muttered quietly to herself as she watched Seria approach her. When she first saw her, she had to do a double-take just to make sure that it was Seria. While unexpected, Tanya still enjoyed it. She didn't know if this was going to be a permanent thing. If it was, it would take her time to adjust to the brilliant color of Seria's hair.

"Eh, don't worry about it!" Tanya assured Seria, smiling goofily at her. "Hey, it's Astrid. If she's bringing a friend along, I'm sure she'll be fine!" A few moments passed while Seria and Tanya waited for the other girls. Tanya was still personally getting used to Seria's new hair and she gawked silently at it, trying to put into words how she felt. "Nice hair by the way." Tanya quickly commented, whipping her head around to see if the other girls were coming.

Tanya smiled in relief when she saw Astrid coming. The girl she was talking about was with her as well and it was someone she recognized. It was the Adriel girl who she battled with. "No need to introduce Astrid, Adriel and I have met." Tanya explained to Astrid, waving happily at the new arrivals.

"Been good. Nice to see you again!" Tanya responded, clasping her hands together now that everyone was here. "Now then, what do people want to do? We could just wander around randomly and hope to find something or if anyone wants a particular place to go, we can go there!" Here was where her plan started to fall apart a little. She had faith in her friends though.

[Seria Floria]

Seria blinked and realized she must have shocked Tanya with her choice of hair color now. No matter, it seemed it was a good reaction, as Tanya gave a quick compliment after mentioning that this friend was Astrid's, so she was bound to be at the very least, fine. Seria smiled and turned around to see Astrid coming with her friend, who was actually shorter than Astrid herself. In fact, Seria was a good deal taller than everyone here - the tallest, in fact. She just had this observation but it was a better idea to keep it to herself. Smiling and curtseying as Astrid carried out the introductions (Seria also couldn't help but notice that Astrid's hair was actually let down this time, a welcome change from the standard), she noticed that Adriel had made a comment about 'having a better memory of seeing a sexy blonde.'

Unfortunately, Seria fancied herself not as sexy as the only sexy blonde she knew, Amanda. Even so, the comment forced a faint blush from the Nature dormer as she fidgeted demurely. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Adriel. It's true, we are from the same dorm. Sadly; I may not be the 'sexy blonde' you've seen before. I simply just dyed my hair yellow," Seria said, taking careful note not to mention the fact said blonde was actually her girlfriend. Hopefully Astrid and Tanya would not blurt that fact out if it was made obvious at any point during this outing. Meanwhile, Tanya mentioned that while she had brought all of them out here, she hadn't actually decided on an activity yet.

"Hmm... Maybe... Have you guys eaten yet? I sure haven't. Well, I'm kind of hungry. We could go out for some food first before we do something fun. Or maybe we could go out late night shopping... Or something. You all have any better ideas?"

"Oh, you know, each other already? Great, that makes my job easier!" Astrid joked. And it seemed like Tanya and Adriel were on good terms, too. Astrid had to admit, she was a little worried, given how uncomfortable Tanya was with romantic-like things and Adriel's...flirtatious nature. But it seemed like everything would be fine. For the moment at least. And Adriel and Seria, at least, had (probably) seen each other around the dorm.

Meanwhile, as it turned out, Tanya hadn't actually planned anything beforehand. Just hoping to wing it, huh? Well, that was fine. Astrid had a few ideas that would hopefully work out well enough. And if all else failed, she could always fall back on another round of karaoke. Her first suggestion, however, was already taken by Seria. "I second getting something to eat first," she said. "I know a few good places around here, unless any of you have anything specific you want."

Adriel smiled to Astrid, nodding as if to confirm her question about her and Tanya "Yep. We battled each other a while ago...I kinda got my butt kicked though. Didn't help that I only had my two starter Pokemon at the time." She then looked to Seria as she spoke, and, finally, the last light bulb in her head lit up as she explained that her blonde hair wasn't her natural color. "Ah! Alright, I remember now. You used to have black hair right?" Either way, this was nice. She could already tell that tonight was going to be a fun one, just from the girls she was was with.

Tanya officially kicked things off by asking where they should go first, which left Adriel thinking. She hadn't really taken any chances to go around the city before now, she didn't didn't know what all was here. However, when Seria suggested getting something to eat, with Astrid immediately concurring with that idea, Adriel nodded "Sounds good to me too. I ended up missing lunch today, so I'm pretty hungry myself. Does anyone have a place in mind? Or shall we just wander aimlessly until we find a place that looks good?"

Great! There seemed to be a consensus. That made life incredibly easy for them. So far, Adriel hadn't made a move on her, which was a relief to say the least. She was trying to get over her romantic stuff problems and hopefully she didn't get too annoyed if Adriel made sexual remarks on her friends. No. Don't think about that. Think positive.

"Since it seems we want food, we'll get food. I'm fine with Astrid leading the way so long as we don't go to a place with Seafood." Tanya said, addressing the group. She then admitted "To be honest, Astrid would probably have a better idea of this place than I do. I really should go here more."

Rubbing the back of her head and sticking out her tongue playfully, Tanya wondered what type of food they would be eating. Hopefully it wasn't seafood. Tanya hated seafood. She never really acquired the taste for it.

[Seria Floria]

Seria nodded as Adriel mentioned that she used to have black hair. "Yes, my hair is naturally black. But I dyed my hair blonde. Felt like it, and also-- ." Seria said, smiling, but soon she gasped as she pretty much made almost made a gaffe. "Also because I wanted to see how blonde looked on me." she saved herself there, almost. In any case, Seria nodded as Adriel and Astrid both seemed to agree with the assessment that food was perhaps in order. As Tanya said she would be fine with Astrid leading the way, she also warned that they didn't go to a place with seafood.

"Huh. Not a fan of seafood? Well, that's fine. I'm sure we'll find a place you'll like. I know a couple of places around here as well. There's an area with a cafe I went to before, but there are a ton of neat looking restaurants. If we're on a budget, there's a cheap little place serving really good pasta and other similar kinds of food. There's also one that serves more oriental dishes too, but those might have seafood, so..."

Seria shrugged. "Maybe Astrid does have a better idea, yeah?"

"Hmm..." No seafood, huh? That cut out a few places. Astrid had been hoping for the restaurant where she'd gotten Monchong last time, but...oh well. Maybe she could go with just one of them sometime. Fortunately, she had a few backup plans. Seria mentioned an oriental place and a pasta place. "If they're the ones I'm thinking of, they're not bad. There's also some really good steakhouses down that way." She tilted her head down one street to indicate. "They're not too bad for price either, unless you're going to get the most expensive steak on the menu." Or lobster. She hadn't noticed the couple times she had lobster while on tour, but holy crap it was expensive.

"Then again...if we're not worried about cost, there's a really good hibachi grill place down near the boardwalk. One of those places where they'll cook your meal at your table and put on a bit of a show in the meantime." She turned towards Tanya. "I think everything comes with a couple pieces of shrimp as an appetizer there, but if you don't want them I'll take 'em." Back to all three of them. "Or there's a Kalosian restaurant that...hmm...actually, let's not do that one. Lost my appetite for a few days after hearing some of the ingredients. Other than that though, any of them sound good?"

So Tanya doesn't like seafood huh? That was something Adiel decided to keep in mind. Why would she need to know that? Actually...that was a pretty good question. Adriel wasn't even sure why that seemed important to remember. It just did. It was probably nothing though. Plus, Adriel wasn't really all that crazy about it herself. She didn't dislike it, but there were other things that she liked far better. Like cheese. Adriel really liked cheese. Hell, it was pretty much her favorite food. If left to her own devices, she'd probably eat nothing but cheesy foods. Sadly, such items weren't always on the menu at the cafeteria. Which really sucked.

But I digress. She listened as both Seria went over potential options. However, there was one word in particular that resonated with her, thus causing her to voice her opinion "...feel free to veto it, but I vote for either one of the steakhouses or the hibachi. Been a while since I've had some steak, and it's suddenly starting to sound really good. Plus, I've got plenty of money saved up, so I'd have no problem with going somewhere a little on the spendy side..." Thus, having said her piece, she waited for everyone else. If there were any objections, then she'd be fine with going somewhere else; usually, she could find something that sounded good to her.

Suggestions were tossed left, right and center and Tanya's mind was starting to get a bit dizzy with all the options that were available. Maybe she did spend too much time around the academy and away from the city. It didn't help that she spent a lot of time around her pokemon, trying to get better or just hanging about. Studying was something that took up her time as well. Come to think of it, she barely spent any time around here.

"I have no problems with Adriel's suggestion." Tanya declared, realizing that someone was making a decision and putting her heart behind it in order to prevent more time wasted doing nothing in particular. "Since it's our first night out like this, might as well treat ourselves with the hibaci. I think they had some in Lavridge Town, but I could be recalling that incorrectly."

Her though processes quickly flashed back to Hoenn for a short while, thinking about her family and how they were doing. Realizing this probably wasn't the time for this though, she quickly looked around at the others. "If people are hesitant about spending money though, which is totally understandable, I'm fine with a steakhouse."

Seria scratched her head as she found herself as well being barraged with a plethora of other suggestions. It seemed Tanya was a bit confused as well with all the options available too. Seria saw those places but she hadn't tried them, either, so it could be a very pleasant experience after all. "Well, I think we can go to the hibachi grill, I've not been to the one here before. My parents would take me to a friend's one before in the past, and I've found myself missing it somewhat." Seria said, smiling warmly. Yeah, that seemed like it would work the best. She wasn't sure how she missed the hibachi grill by the boardwalk but she definitely wasn't complaining if she had a chance to try it out this time.

"I'm not really too worried about cost anyway, so we can go there, right?" Seria asked in a confirming fashion, smiling and looking around. Well, the steakhouse didn't seem like a bad option either but it seemed like everybody was alright with the hibachi grill so it seemed likely that that was where they were going.

And just like that, everyone agreed on either the hibachi grill place or a steakhouse, depending on what they were willing to spend. But it seemed like nobody was actually worried about that, leaving it on Astrid. But she'd been planning on offering to spot anyone who needed it anyway. Money was less of a problem for her at the moment. Even if she wasn't currently living the superstar life, she wasn't lacking for cash on hand. "Sure, just let me make sure we can get in," Astrid said, pulling out her Xtransciever. She brought up the place in question and waited for a response. "Hi, what's your wait time looking like tonight? ...Oh, really? ...Yes, four of us. Put it under Sherinian. Thanks."

Astrid looked back at the other three as she hung up, grinning. "Good news, we can get in almost right away if we hurry," she said. "So if there's no objections, let's go!" She gestured for the other girls to follow, then moved at a brisk pace, down a couple well-traveled streets towards the boardwalk. Once they got there, the place wasn't actually on the pier, but still pretty close by, recognizable by a name and architecture that reminded Astrid of Johto. It didn't look too crowded, but that would probably change soon after they got in.
