After the whole lunch time debacle and feeding Dusk and the others, it was about time to get back to work, or so Chris figured he might as well head somewhere... quiet, in order to think and to see what lies there, plus, sure Chris isn't a massive history nut, but that doesn't mean he can't find himself being curious about the past. Carefully walking into the ruins with Dusk by his side, it didn't take long for Chris to find himself getting confused by what was on the walls... sure he isn't the best in terms of all languages, but this just doesn't make sense, it doesn't even make up words as far as he could tell.
"What does this stuff even mean anyway? any idea Dusk?" Chris found himself asking his Pokémon, honestly he didn't expect much of an answer really, Pokémon can be hard to understand as it is, but, there are ways around that aren't there? maybe Chris could find one out for Dusk. Dusk merely shook her head, saying she didn't understand it either, then she looked deeper into the ruins, as if she wanted to get going. "Come on dusk, we can see if we can work this out later, maybe one of the library books can help, but for now, let's see if we can find any Pokémon" Chris spoke, causing Dusk to nod and the two to head off deeper into the ruins in search of Pokémon.

As Chris and dusk kept heading deeper into the ruins, Chris kept glaring at the symbols on the walls, trying to work out what any of them actually meant, sure enough though, he had no clue what so ever, but he was still curious, perhaps there might be something of use in the library back at the dorm, since that's filled with historical ones. Dusk seemed to keep looking around, although not upwards to the writing on the walls, but down on her level, being a surprisingly good spotter, she was keeping her eyes open for Pokémon that could be of use, and now she finally caught sight of something.
Tugging on Chris's arm to get his attention, she pointed over to something small, white and green, that was sitting against the wall, after a bit of observation, and the Pokedex's usage, Chris understood that it was actually a Ralts, which in a way, could come in useful if it ever hits it's final stage, whichever one it ends up being that is... Gallade could prove to be a deadly surprise to any Fighting types, eliminating the classic weakness of Dark type Pokémon, it's fighting type moves would be quite devastating to any Rock types or even Ice types, and Earthquake could be of great use. on the other hand though, Gardevoir could be an even nastier surprise for fighting types, and dark isn't all that great when it comes to taking on dragons, Gardevoir would dramatically change that due to her typing.
Giving a faint nod to Dusk, Dusk went over to the Ralts and began to speak to it, over time the two seemed to become friends, that's when Chris ordered the attack, primarily in the form of Feint Attack. striking out of nowhere with a strong blow, the Ralts was stunned and harshly damaged, although it tried to Teleport away, making it seem that it had no actual attacking moves. Teleporting to a room just up ahead, it only took mere moments to find it, it was trying to use a combination of Heal Pulse and Psychic to try and heal itself... pretty clever, but it didn't appear to be very effective, since it's attention was elsewhere. Giving a simple nod and making a claw like motion with his hand, Chris was silently ordering dusk to use metal claw, which she willingly did so. Silently sneaking up behind the Ralts, dusk grabbed ahold of her and struck with the glowing claw, causing the Ralts to teleport again... but it didn't take into account dusk had been teleported with it.
By the time Chris found them, he saw the Ralts on the ground, unconscious, with Dusk still attacking it using Slash, brutally slamming it against the wall and slicing away at the Ralts. Quickly stopping Dusk, although she still got in a good two more slash's, Chris took out an unoccupied academy ball, and threw it at the Ralts, hoping for the capture.

You killed the Ralts!
And then shoved the corpse into a tiny ball!
Congratulations. Deduct your balls by one.
