Oleg versus Adolfina [Adolfina, battle]

Adolfina carefully considered the circumstances. The oversized rock remained alive. However, it was already attacking again. Now, there were several ways it could play out. Her mind scattered and attempted to process the numerous variables. The situation broke down three ways. These three split further. Even those broke down into micro-paths of causality. The opponent was severely weakened. It probably wouldn't last through another solid blow. Taking another attack from it, however, would prove problematic against the other potential Pokemon the opponent used. He had not swapped to something else, so it was unlikely that there were other Fairy-type users in his team. Furthermore, something with Ice had not been chosen, despite Vibrava's four-fold weakness to them. In other words, the two major weaknesses that Limos had were likely not going to be used against her. So, by preserving Limos' health, she increased her chances of victory based simply on the dragonfly's offensive power.
”Limos, return! Thor, take it!” Limos could certainly have survived the next attack. Probably another few, if they were all as ineffective as that one. However, she could not take that chance. Once neutral attacks were thrown out, things would get too nasty. In other words, it was necessary to preserve the best she had by sacrificing what posed the smallest benefit. That was why she did not hesitate to send out the Pichu, who was promptly slapped by giant rocks. Whether by fluke or by guts, the little baby Pokemon remained standing. Was he badly hurt? Yes. But that was the point. This path of causality provided the best chances of victory, and that Pichu, though effectively turned into a sacrificial pawn, was a key point in her plans.
She just needed to figure out which path her opponent would choose. Action: Switched Vibrava out for Pichu; cannot attack. Notes: Pichu has been gravely injured, but is still conscious.

Oleg raised his eyebrow as the pichu as sent out, and promptly buried under rocks. Sure, it was was still standing, but he PRESUMED even a small bit of wind could knock it down. He tapped his chin for a few moments before pointing at the pichu, yelling to the floating magnetic rock. "Okay, rock slide!"
The floating rock spun around once more. It was probably already getting bored of throwing rocks at people, but what are you gonna do when the opponent could not truly be damaged by anything else? It then materialized the rocks, beginning to drop them on the pichu.
Action: Rock Slide; 75 BP, backed by a base attack of 45, STAB, 90% accuracy, 30% chance of flinch.

The branches of possibility gradually dwindled every second, and her opponent had acted in a way that provided the most “developed” one in her head. Able to discard all the obsolete paths and focus on the present, she watched as the Pichu was pelted with rocks. He looked backed at her, almost seeming sad, as the rocks crashed down on him. It was somewhat pitiful, but he would understand what the sacrifice would be worth later. Returning the lightning mouse- it couldn't even be called a rat yet- the blonde produced the ball holding Limos, tossing it once again.
”Limos, use Earthquake! Finish it off!” The dragonfly, seeming to half-nod, ascended, then crashed to the ground again, sending tremors! Action: Earthquake, 100 BP, STAB to 150, 2x effectiveness; base atk of 70 backing it Notes: 100% accuracy; no roll for hits

Oleg grimmaced. Well, it was back to being even. Hoare was out, the nosepass simply flopping onto it's side, seemingly not having the energy to get up. He called Hoare back, looking at his two remaining balls. He then took out Lancel's ball, releasing the pawniard as he then took a staunch battle stance, staring at the vibrava. He considered his options for a long while before finally staunchly nodding to himself. "Alright, use metal claw!"
Lancel nodded in silence, charging forwards as it then lept towards the vibraca, slashing it's shining hand blades at the dragonfly pokemon, then leaping away from it after the hit connected.
Action: Metal Claw, BP 50, STAB to 25, base atk of 85 to back it up. Notes: Chance to raise ATK by 1 stage. 10% chance.

Adolfina watched as the large rock crashed. Her mind began to process all the possibilities. Perhaps he didn't have anything that was evolved? Out came a reddish, metallic Pokemon. It was. . . a Pawniard. High power and defensive capabilities on the physical side, Steel-typing for good defense, but also coupled with the Dark-type. Steel and Dark had one major thing in common. That is, their weakness to Fighting. Coupled like that, even a weak Fighting-type move became extremely powerful. When the girl realized how the tides of battle had changed, she was sincerely glad that she sacrificed Thor. The Metal Claw collided with Limos, but the dragonfly held the line! She was getting tired, yes, but being saved from that third Rock Slide earlier was doing wonders.
”Limos, take it down! Superpower!” Superpower was a powerful move. It was a two-sided blade in that it weakened the user slightly, but it was perfectly accurate and very destructive. Not only that, it was a Fighting-type move, and the opponent took damage four-fold from that type. The Vibrava, fluttering upwards slightly, extended her legs and shot at the Pawniard, fully-intent on pummeling the ever-loving shit out of the metallic, bipedal death-beetle. Survivability? . . . she didn't see it higher than a flat zero. Action: Superpower; 120 BP, 4x effectiveness on target, effectively becoming 480 BP; backed by a base atk of 70 Notes: Yeeeep.

"Well crap." He watched how to Vibrava launched itself at Lancel... And begun to pummel the ever living shit out of him indeed. Lancel was beaten, kicked, and then immidietly launched against the nearest stadium wall. He called Lancel back, wiping sweat from his forehead. Well shit. He reached for his belt, grabbing his final ball as he then released Walter, the electabuzz. He looked to the pokemon, gritting his teeth. "Alright buddy... Use low kick."
Walter nodded to his trainer as he drummed his fists against his chest, charging forwards as he begun to slide on the ground mid way towards the dragonfly, attempting to kick it in the face.
Action: Low kick, Base power 40 due to 15KG of weight, backed by attack base of 83. Note: Pawniard got nuked. No need to roll due to 100% accuracy.

The opponent was down to that final ball. Once the contents were revealed, everything would fall into place. And the mystery? Was an Electabuzz. Electric-type. No secondary. Therefore, weak to Ground. In other words, weak to Vibrava's mainstay. However, Vibrava was currently weakened. In other words, even if she stayed out and lasted through the apparent kick that was going to be the means of offense, her Earthquake would not blossom into the center of destruction that it could have. On the other hand, her Goomy would be unlikely to be able to take the thing out by herself. On the other hand, teamwork between the two would likely ensure a victory at this point. With a slight smile, the first since all this had begun, the blonde reached into her bag once more.
”Return, Limos! Erubetie, take the hit!” One dragon switched for another, and a gooey blob of a dragon appeared. Erubetie was also especially light, meaning the weight-based damage of Low Kick would be less dangerous. The goo-dragon jiggled a little on impact, blinking and wincing a little. She seemed confused. Why was she out and being attacked? Well, all the same, she was attacked. She looked a little hot under the collar before staring ahead, awaiting orders. Action: Switching Vibrava for Goomy. No action can be taken. Notes: Goomy's weight is under 3kg, safely reducing the BP of Low Kick to 20.

Oleg grunted. He was on his last legs and he knew it. He was not going to win. But he might as well enjoy it. He looked over to Walter, grinning at him as he then yelled. "Might as well have a little fun with our punching bag, eh Walter?! THUNDERPUNCH!"
Walter let out a loud yell, seemingly laughing as he pulled his fist back as it charged with electricity, crackling as he then spun his hand a few times, before planting a brutal thunderpunch straight for the goomy's goober. He then smiled to himself, watching the gooey ball of gooeyness wobble.
Action: Thunder Punch with 75 Base power, STAB adds 37.5 to that, plus the base 83 attack. Notes: Damn you. Roll for paralyze chance.

The next attack was a Thunder Punch. Pretty powerful on its own, plus it had a chance of inflicting paralysis, which could be nasty in its own right. However, that boiled down a little differently. The Thunder Punch was powerful, yeah, but Goomy was a Dragon-type Pokemon. The punch was halved in effectiveness. Was it a pain? Sure. Definitely. Erubetie was annoyed. Would it do her in, though? Nah. The little slimeball gurgled in annoyance, still awaiting an order from her master. Meanwhile, Adolfina ran through the attack options. It was likely best to stick to something reliable.
”Erubetie, use Body Slam!” It was a fairly powerful move on its own. Not as powerful as Dragon Pulse, considering the advantage of having the correct typing for it, but the blonde was fairly certain that Electabuzz's physical defense was weaker than its “special” defense. The little blob. . . well. She kind of lunged at the Electabuzz in an odd way, half-bouncing, half-tackling at the opponent. Action: Body Slam; 85 BP, backed by 50 base atk; 100% accuracy, 30% chance of Paralysis infliction Notes: “The user drops onto the target with its full body weight. This may also leave the target with paralysis.” Goomy's weight: 2.8kg. Just thought it'd be funny to note. 20R|dYuL”1-10”Just seeing if Para would've worked. 1-3 would've activated, if not Electric-typed. ”1-10”

Walter blinked as he was almost fully covered in the gooey slime pokemon enveloping him. He struggled and gurgle as he thing just... Lied on top of him, finally, after a few minutes of struggling, managed to push the blob away. Walter gasped for breath, staring to Oleg for any direction.
Oleg pondered for a moment. It did not seem to do MUCH to the slimeball, but hell, what else was he going to--... Oh. He grew a grin. Sure, that slimeball probably had more special defences than bodily ones, but the match was lost anyways. Might as well have fun. "THUNDER!"
Walter grew a smirk as he punched his fists together, electricity beginning to charge in the pokemon's antennae as he then pointed his fists at the gooball, launching a large lightningbolt at the poor thing.
Action: Thunder with 110 base power, STAB adds 55 to that, backed by 95 special attack base.
Note: Rolling for accuracy with a 1-10, same with paralysis chance.

Indeed, the Goomy was more specially-defensive than physically. This was obvious when the goo-dragon, though injured, proved to be still active. Though, there did seem to be a minor issue. That is, Erubetie seemed to be suffering from Paralysis. The blonde contemplated the circumstances. Frankly, she saw no reason to switch back at the present. Erubetie could get one more hit in, unless the paralysis took over, and that should have pushed the Electabuzz into the threshold that she could safely assume that Earthquake would finish everything. It wasn't a case of doubt, but a case of caution. She wanted to be absolutely sure.
”Again, Erubetie! Body Slam!” She commanded, hoping that the paralysis didn't take effect. The slimeball sludged forward, attempting to build speed! Action: -Attempting- Body Slam. 85 BP, backed by 50 base atk. To be determined in the paralysis roll. z6v7EN03”1-4”If 1, Erubetie does not attack, and instead does the paralytic boogey. ”1-4”

Walter slowly backed away as the Goomie slowly tried to build up speed... And then begun to vibrate like jello. Oleg grew a grin, as did Walter. They both looked at eachother for a mere moment before Oleg yelled out. "Thunder!" Walter nodded, punching it's fists together once more as he begun to charge electricity, his whole body crackling with it as he then let out a mighty roar, his hands point to the goomy as he then launched a lightning towards the poor jello. All the while Oleg grew a bigger and bigger grin. He had a chance here. A small chance.
Action: Thunder with 110 base power, STAB adds 55 to that, backed by 95 special attack base.
Note: Rolling for accuracy with a 1-10.

The next clash of lightning slammed into the Goomy, and Adolfina simply returned her, not really paying complete attention to whether or not the blow truly did the goo-ball in. Regardless, Erubetie's effectiveness had been crippled with Paralysis, and the building damage finished that deal. So, the blonde sent out Limos for what would be the final time during that match. It was odd, all things considered, but Limos had actually been the harbinger of destruction on the young man's team. She finished off the Swablu. She weakened and finished off the giant rock. She took down the Pawniard. All that remained was this Electabuzz, which had already been hit once. She was probably being too detrimental in her calculations, trying to maximize the success rate. Chances were, Limos would end it here and now.
”Limos, use Earthquake! Take it down!” The blonde demanded as the dragonfly slowly ascended. Then, much like she had every time earlier, Limos flew down at the ground, causing a powerful tremor! Action: Earthquake; 100 BP, STAB to 150; x2 type-effectiveness, backed by a base atk of 70 Notes: 100% Accuracy.

Oleg let out a sigh. The harbringer of doom, the destroyer of his team... That Arceus damn Vibrava. Walter fastened himself, gritting his teeth as he waited for the Vibrava to land and create the tremor. And so it did. The whole arena shook for a moment, causing Walter to wall onto his back. He slowly climbed up, taking a battle stance... Before collapsing. Oleg sighed. Yep, it was probably to be expected for him to not take that earthquake, but it was always worth a try. He called his companion back to it's ball, walking over to the young girl.
"That was a good fight. Maybe we'll have another one at some point when we both are stronger." He grinned slightly, nodding as he looked down at the little girl before turning around, exiting the stadium like it was no big deal, passing by people who were watching, smirking to himself. That, was entertaining. [OLEG HAS LEFT THE BUILDING.]

Adolfina blinked when the youth approached her, after the battle, and calmly stated such things. Sure, it was close. Sure, there was a chance that they'd battle again in the future due to the random nature of tournaments or blind battles, but that was to be expected! She would not simply give a strange man with stranger tendencies during a battle the attention or privilege to battle her of her own choice! Who did he think he was? The nerve! The blonde was about to chase after him to give him a piece of her mind! At least until the Vibrava collided with her, seeming to expect some degree of affection or praise for the job well done.
Not that she was misled. She did a great job, of course.
”Ah, get off, Limos! Get back here, you impotent rodent!” Of course, by the time the girl's anger had been right and truly voiced, her opponent had already long-since left. No verbal slander was to be thrown at him. The words hit the air. And the Vibrava cuddling her back. The blonde squirmed and grumbled, very obviously annoyed. Once Limos finally decided to stop doing odd things on her back, it would be time to head back and heal her team. They worked hard. And each of them served a purpose, even if they might not have been enjoying it.
