Know what happens when fairly wealthy parents inspire their child to think that she's something special? She develops a superiority complex. On top of that, she gets spoiled. Between being used to always getting what she wants and being allowed to think that she's better than others, Adolfina, naturally, can be somewhat bothersome to get along with. Somewhat bothersome? Hell, she's a pain. And not just because of her ego. See, due to her uprising, her “status”, and the fact that people suck up to her, she's developed a sort of pseudo-sadistic tendency to walk over others. Naturally, there's no sexual pleasure behind it, as she's too young for that, but she definitely derives amusement from verbally bashing others and walking over them. Physical abuse also works.
Of course, she's not entirely terrible. She's kind to her subordinates, servants, and “pets”. Of course, sometimes her kindness has problems during the conveyance. You might see it as her smashing a riding crop against someone's face, but there's love behind it. Definitely. She often comes off as being haughty despite genuine attempts at being nice or friendly. Of course, she does feel lonely on occasion, when people avoid her out of fear. It leaves her with a sincere sense of confusion. After all, what she does she does out of responsibility and love. Kind of, sort of, usually.
Naturally, she does have a few serious weaknesses when dealing with people. First and foremost, she absolutely loathes having to lift her neck to gaze at people, likewise having them look down on her. She gets exceedingly annoyed when thrust into circumstances like that. On top of that, she does have a bad habit of using words she doesn't know the correct definition of in sentences. Upon being corrected, there's a simple process she goes through. Embarrassment and shame gradually boil up into proper anger. The anger, once mature, is directed at the corrector, usually in the form of assault, in an attempt to get them to forget it all. She's also prone to being sweet talked through praise.
Once you boil it all down, Adolfina isn't a terrible person. She just hasn't been raised properly. Egotistical, vicious, and vindictive as all hell, she can definitely seem like an intimidating and terrible person, even with her small stature. Of course, when a person can see through her awkward attempts at friendship and kindness, they can at least understand that she's not a complete monster. Possibly. Hopefully.

Once upon a time in a snowy little city in the Sinnoh region, a blonde-haired, red-eyed child was born into the Brauer family. The family had a long-time history in the brewing industry, having a rather well-selling blend that gave them plenty of wealth to fiddle around with. Given that the girl was their firstborn, and that the couple did not care what gender she was, they gave her a powerful name- Adolfina, which translated to “Noble Wolf”. The two loved her very much. Naturally, they spoiled her and praised her plenty. The “wolf” cub was more proud than noble, though, because of this uprising.
The cub did need some fangs, though. Not just the intimidating bark, since some weren't to be dissuaded without a show of force. She needed some proper bite. That was when her father suggested that she go to a school for battle training. If she could mature a bit, that would have been nice, certainly, but the main drive her father had was giving his “noble wolf” some fangs to bare to those that threatened her. If she captured, trained, and excelled in using her Pokemon, then that was good enough. That led to her enrolling at the Gray Garden Academy.
