"Alright, we caught one Trapez, now lets do it again!" The trainer cheered, his fist raised in the air, his Chimchar Trapez mimicking his trainer with the same amount of vigor. His last time here was productive, he had caught Bastard, a rather impressive Honedge that tried to possess him and take his life force, but hey, he wasn't gonna judge him. It was sorry. . . maybe. Upon approaching the ruins, Trapez climbed up his trainer and sat upon his shoulder, his flame giving the necessary light for the two to navigate the area once more. As they proceeded further and further into the ancient structure he could feel the heat leave him once again. "Oh yeah, I never figured out who's doing this did I?" he remembered. He sported a huge grin, "Well, I'll find you this time!" he roared.

As the two moved onward it got increasingly colder, enough so that a breath would be clearly visible in the freezing air. "Well, we must be going the right way Trapez." he remarked, rubbing himself for warmth. The Small Chimchar wrapped itself around his trainer's neck in an effort to keep him warm. "Don't worry buddy, a little cold can never make these muscles give in." He said in a triumphant manner. Keeping their pace, they soon saw a Solrock. The Solrock looked at the approaching trainer and locked its eyes with his. Cameron kept moving, and passed right by it. "No. Staring is stupid. You're stupid." he commented not even looking back at the staring rock.

“Hrmm. . .” Cameron groaned, walking in deep though. His simian pokemon companion looked at his trainer with some confusion. “Y’know, I’ve been thinking Trapez.” At the mention of its name the Chimchar let out a soft ‘chi’ in reply. “I think those Solrock and Lunatone we’ve been passing by are as stupid as that Litwick.” He said, disappointment dripping from his tongue. Behind him, a gaggle of the celestial rock pokemon floated up and down and from side to side respectively. Not doing anything but staring at each other. As the two kept their pace yet another Lunatone blocked their path. Cameron looked to his Chimchar only to get a shrug in response. The large student sighed, and got up close to the Lunatone. “No! Staring is stupid!” He yelled. Getting no response from the moon shaped rock. Getting visibly angry at the pokemon he let out yet another bellow “Do something you idiot!” Yet again no response. “Stupid, floating rocks. . ." he tried kicking the rock, "URGH!” he stormed off, with a pained foot, away from the stupid, floating Lunatone.

They soon reached a dead end. "Damn. . . Lost the trail again." Cameron cursed. His only tell being the fact that heat began to come back to his body and his breath was no longer visible. "Must have disappeared again. Oh well, let's see if there's anything else here hu- What?" To his sides he could hear something growling at him in what little darkness was left. Trapez jumped off of his trainer's shoulder, growling at what was there. "Come on out, or Trapez here will burn you out." Cameron threatened. as if on cue, Trapez opened his mouth showing the spiraling flames forming in his mouth. The growling didn't stop and from the shade a figure pounced at Cameron who narrowly avoided it with a tumble. 

He popped his Dex open, though he already knew this pokemon. "Poochyena, you little devils caused so much problems back home." The hyena pup barked at cameron, baring its fangs at the trainer. "Oh, you wanna tussle eh? Alright Trapez, same as last time. These guys can't really take much of a hit so we'll take it down fast. Nasty Plot!" he shouted. The Chimchar followed its trainer's cue, thinking up a devious plot. Raising its Special Attack considerably. 

The opposing Poochyena jumped at Trapez locking it's jaw on the Chimchar's arm with Crunch/ The attack made the Chimchar cringe but it didn't cause as much damage as their previous opponent, Bastard. Trapez shook off the attack and backed away from his opponent. "Okay, seal the deal Trapez, Flamethrower!"  he ordered. The spiral flames left the monkey's mouth on order and hit the Poochyena head on. 

Cameron whistled, "Getting good at that one bud." he complimented patting the Pokemon's head. "Well, I guess we can't leave it like this." he said walking over the the downed Poochyena. "I don't think I'll be using you in battle. At all really. But it's better than leaving you here so." he tossed a ball at the Poochyena. He'll just see if a fitting trainer will take it off of his hands instead. If not he might raise it instead. Maybe.
