I Heard Babies Love Muscle (Mission/Tristan)

Cameron stood in Blancblack Manor for his mission. Which still made the large man chuckle, apparently there was this “super mysterious Espurr” that has been playing with one of the Breeding attendants Kangaskhan. He’ll never understand some people. He clutched at the incubator holding his egg. “Hopefully the Espurr will play with you too Bobby.” He told the egg. As he got ready to walk around he put the egg safely into its incubator and back into his bag. “Okay, so I gotta wait for someone else too right? Well, hopefully they won’t take too long.” He muttered. He then sat on the ground, and waited for his partner for this mission to arrive.

[Tristan Carter]

Tristan took a good look around. When he heard about the mission board, he hadn't really been interested. Still, he went and accepted a task just to help out. He had been told that there would be someone else who would be taking on the job as well, but that didn't really bother Tristan.

The boy saw a muscular fellow talking to a pokemon egg. Tristan wondered if he was supposed to be the other person, but he quickly decided that he must be. So, with a sigh, he walked up to the muscular guy and stuck out his hand.

"The name's Tristan. I imagine you're here because of the Esperr as well?"

The two of you enter Blancblack Manor, the location that your target for your mission is supposed to be. The target, of course, is the Espurr. You have two options to explore from the entrance of the manor. You can either go to the second floor, or explore the ground floor.

Oh, and as you begin to walk towards whatever choice you made, you managed to step on a loose board. This loose board makes quite a bit of noise, alerting some enemies.

He looked to the student who he could only guess was his partner. A scrawny kid but if there was gonna be any heavy lifting or any need of muscle at all he could handle it. Cameron nodded at his question. "Cameron's my name." he told simply, only itching to get inside. "Let's get to work, yeah?" he told, getting up and entering the mansion. This was his first time in Blancblack Manor, and he wasn't expecting what he saw. "Huh, I expected something, well, scarier. Maybe a ghost of something." he said aloud. As he stepped he could hear the floor boards creek with each foot. "Old." he commented. "They should renovate this place." 

He wasn't expecting pokemon to arrive and impede on their progress. "Alright, Tristan, I'm gonna take the Duskull, you take the dumb Litwick." Cameron ordered, moving towards the ghost pokemon. "Hello there Duskull, Trapez is gonna kick your ass." he announced, tossing his Monferno's ball into the air. The Playful pokemon emerged from the ball with glee, noticing the foreign pokemon in front of him he quickly got into a battle ready stance. "Alright, Nasty Plot!" Cameron ordered. The Monferno's tail glowing brighter and larger at the order as he thought of a devious plan for the Duskull.

The Duskull seemed to disappear into the floor board. "Huh, what's going on? Is he running away?" Camerron wondered. Only for the Duskull to sneak behind an unaware Monferno and land an attack on him with Shadow Sneak. Trapez brushed of the attack and glared daggers at his opponent. "Alright Trapez, use Flamethrower!" Cameron roared, the Monferno took in a deep breath and then exhaled a large stream of spiral flames. The attack was more than enough to take down the small pokemon. It disappeared when Cameron approached it, likely in fear that it would be attacked once more. 

"All done over here, what about you Tristan?" He seemed to have a harder time with the Litwick, not wanting to impede on the progress of the mission Cameron shrugged and headed upstairs. "I'll finish the job then."

After taking care of the enemy Pokemon, you decided to go up the stairs instead of staying on the ground floor. Moving through one of the nearby rooms, you notice some stray cloth sheets moving around. Of course, as you get a closer look, they ain't no sheets, man. They is some Pokemans.

Cameron stared at the pokemon in front of him, was everything in this cruddy mansion hostile? It didn't hlp that he had also lost his partner. "Whatever, alright Zweihändos, Sir Bug, Bicy. Lets's get this over with!" Cameron called, the three pokemon taking their battle positions for the upcoming battle. "Alright, Sir Bug! Use X-Scissor on the Espurr! Bicy, Stone Edge on the Litwick! Zweihändos, Shadow Sneak on the Gastly!" Cameron ordered, one by one. 

The Pokemon followed their trainer's command, dashing at their targets with the intent of doing as much damage as possible. Firstly Sir Bug, used his powerful horn with X-Scissor, slashing at the Espurr, and knocking it out easily. Secondly, Bicy took her girder in one hand, and with one powerful swing, knocked the enemy Litwick out with Stone Edge. Lastly, Zweihändos disappeared, sneaking behind the unsuspecting Gastly and striking it with Shadow Sneak, once again knocking the pokemon unconscious with a single strike.

Just like that, their battle was finished. "Well. . . That was boring." Cameron noted as he looked at his pokemon next to their defeated opponents. "Guess you guys can go back now." he said, returning each of the combatants to their pokeball. With a sigh of boredom he continued onward. Hoping the next pokemon to appear would provide more of a challenge.

As you continue through the room, you notice that the floor is extremely squeaky. Other than that, you continue as normal. Of course, as you continue, the floor below you collapses rather splendidly. Now back on the first floor, a look around reveals a very well kept living room with a lit fireplace. On the armchair, there seems to be something reading a newspaper. Specifically, a Pokemon. An Espurr. The Espurr you were looking for.

Lowering the paper to see the commotion, the Espurr simply looks at you with its wide-eyed expression.

It happened fast. Really fast, in a split second he had lost his ground and fallen to the first floor, landing in a pile of the broken, old wood from the second floor. His body was sore all over from the fall, and he could swear that he had splinters in places that you shouldn't have splinters. Though he still got up, he rubbed his sore butt and went on with his mission. He limped for a while, trying to get used to the soreness of his leg, but quickly got over the pain. He looked ahead to see the "special" Espurr in front of him. As much as he'd like to be mad the little kitten pokemon was. . . for a lack of better description, "Adorable." he muttered the word. No human being would ever hear him say that in a non-joking matter and he would make sure to keep it that way.

"Hey there little buddy." Cameron said as he approached the Espurr slowly. He remembered something in the mission about this thing being dangerous. "So you like reading newspapers huh?" he crept even further towards the target pokemon. Before he knew it, he was right next to the pokemon, and with a gentle hand he pet the pokemon's head. "You are the most adorable pokemon I've seen." he admitted. Little did anyone know, Cameron loved the color pink, and he wanted to take this pokemon and hide it away from the school, but he would settle for some time petting it.

The Espurr looks at you with its lifeless eyes before lifting its hands up so that it can be lifted. It seems it allowed you to pick it up with no issues. Wonderful. Looks like its time to take it back.
