Refined Dining [Amanda]

The district had some places where one would actually hang out and socialize. Needless to say, some restaurants there had tasty food that most rich people back home would dine on. Although, she didn't particularly care what food she ate as long as it had good taste. Some of those teenagers were seen playing basketball while more of them socialized with their friends. And this was one of the few times where her Skrelp had to be outside lest he would refuse to be inside his warm confinement of a Pokeball. Passerby looked curiously at the poisonous seahorse as if he were a freak in a circus. Morgan paid no attention and signaled his trainer to a restaurant where seafood would be eaten. Entering through the double doors, there were tables with cloth over them and of course, the usual host to seat someone at a table. She spoke to the host. "I'll be waiting for someone to come by, but until then, a table for two." The host nodded and went back to speaking with a lady holding a Lillipup in her arms. She sat down near a bench and waited patiently for someone to arrive.

Amanda checked the time displayed on her Pokedex, walking briskly as she realized to her great dismay that she might not be on time.
It wasn't entirely accurate, from an outside view. Amanda would likely arrive at the proper time: if off by a minute. It wasn't in her interest to do as such. With her upbringing and interests: Amanda had grown thinking that it was the desire of a proper lady to arrive earlier than most, if only to prepare accordingly. Normally, that would have been the case if not for one problem.
Amanda glanced over her shoulder: noting that her Hariyama was indeed still following her. It was amusing, really: how since his evolution he had been insistent on playing the role of bodyguard. Yet while it certainly made her feel a great deal safer: she found that he took the role a bit too seriously. Leading to an unpleasant tussle with an unfriendly-looking, if otherwise harmless wild Bug-Pokemon.
She couldn't entirely blame the Shiny, despite everything: his evolution had not erased the vicious scar on his side, although it was somewhat diminished. The battle with that Pinsir was a haunting memory for the both of them, and the way in which Fisto handled it was likely better than Amanda herself.
As she approached the agreed-upon destination, Amanda recognized the girl she had planned to meet: Alice. She smiled and waved cheerfully.
''Hello, Alice!'' Expressed Amanda. Musing on how the red steak in the Mana-Dormers hair made her very conspicuous in a crowd.

After a few more minutes of waiting, a blonde girl with a rather curly hairdo entered through the door of the restaurant. "Hi Amanda. How are you today?" The Skrelp noticed a huge, hulking sumo wrestler-like Pokemon behind the girl and was intimidated by his size. Certainly, some Fighting type Pokemon had a bit of intimidation when it comes to muscles. The seafood could probably wait until they at least had a conversation before eating and there was so much to do in the downtown district. The lady with the Lillipup was now eating with some gentleman with a mustache. Looks like the host had finished talking and had moved on back to his podium. The poisonous seahorse seemed to take an interest in looking at the ladies with dresses and the gentlemen in tuxedos as if they were interesting specimen to him.

Amanda nodded cheerfully, smiling as she lightly hugged the other girl. ''Tres bien, and yourself?'' she giggled, casually looking the other girl over.
Her Pokemon meanwhile, had struggled to fit through the doors of the restaurant: only with some moderate effort and shifting. Did he manage to to enter the establishment. Taking his place at his trainers side: the shiny glanced around the restaurant. Searching for any traces of danger or problem before turning to the Skrelp. The Hariyama frowned: somewhat unimpressed by the shrimpy seahorse standing before him: only a quarter of his size. The fighter did not care much for that particular breed of Pokemon. They had attitude, and were dangerous: not his cup of tea.
All the meanwhile, Amanda continued to smile pleasantly at the other girl: ''...so shall we take a seat...'' she queried, ''...or would you like to wander around for a while first, take in the sights?''

"I'm fine. I think we should take in the sights first before we eat. By the way, my friend here is Morgan the Skrelp." The Skrelp looked at Amanda curiously, but didn't feel intimidated by the Hariyama's size anymore. The district had a lot of things to see as there was a basketball court and some benches around which people could relax. The Hariyama didn't seem too impressed by Morgan's size since the poisonous seahorse was small. Actually size wasn't everything as even the smallest Pokemon can actually take down a big one. Even so, the sumo wrestler seemed to not like Morgan that much. Possible grudge perhaps or some kind of attitude that the Skrelp line had. Sure, the Skrelp line was dangerous due to poison, but it was worth training.

''It's very nice to meet you Morgan!'' she giggled, ''...my large friend here is Duke Fisto, he's... my bodyguard. I suppose.'' The Hariyama seemed pleased at the recognition.
With a cheerful nod: Amanda turned to her Pokemon, whom obligingly opened the door for the two girls to leave. At least, after forcing himself through them once more. Amanda stepped back out, staring into the city curiously: wondering what they could possibly do.
''So what would you be interested in doing?'' Amanda leaned back to face the other girl. ''We could simply walk around for a while, or maybe go shopping?'' She eyed the uniform the other girl was wearing, it seemed somewhat plain. ''Oh! I know a marvelous boutique nearby that has the cutest clothing, would you care to see?''

"Nice to meet you, Duke Fisto." The Hariyama seemed to be at least gentlemanly as he opened the door for the two of them to go outside. And he was referred to as a bodyguard, something that she never would have unless she needed some sort of protection. The Skrelp looked curiously at the basketball court outside and also at the teenagers socializing. There were do many sights to see in this district where people shopped in clothing stores and bought some clothes that they thought was cool to wear. That is until Amanda mentioned a boutique that had the cutest clothing after taking one look at her rather plain uniform. "Sure. If you say that some of the outfits there are cute, I'd take a look myself." The poisonous seahorse was more interested looking at the people on the streets, but he agreed with going to a clothing store.

''Well, let us not dally then!'' Amanda smiled: rather grateful that Alice was agreeing with her idea. Although the other girl seemed like a rather tough individual, Amanda was relieved to see that she was rather nice. Beckoning for the other girl to follow, they set off, Pokemon in tow.
''So we've both been at the academy for a while now, have we not?'' the blonde queried, interested in learning more about the other girl. ''How do you like it here, is everything going well for you?''
It was a bit of a distance to cover until they reached the boutique, a few blocks. Yet it did make a good opportunity for conversation and discovery. While waiting for the other girl to answer: Amanda briefly contemplated the store they would visit. She could get something nice, perhaps even convince the other girl to wear something cuter. While she was at, she could also purchase something for someone special.
The idea made her cheeks lightly turn pink.

The other blonde girl talked about the academy and asked if the academy has been sitting well with her. "Well, yes. I like the academy so far. Seems like a nice place to learn and whatnot." For once in a while, the academy seemed like a nice place to live in and learn something from it. Not to mention that it had nice teachers and classmates. Different subjects were covered in a fun way such as that breeding class, though that girl with the dark hair and an Espurr arrived late. The boutique that Amanda had suggested wasn't far off, but it did take some minutes to get there. Besides, they could converse while shopping for clothes and such. Morgan seemed to be looking around the streets, staring at some of the people walking across. And at last, the boutique came into view and the seahorse looked at the various clothes on display. Maybe there were black outfits that had some kind of decor on it.

As they walked up the front of the store: Amanda clapped her hands cheerfully: eyeing the various clothing on display. Admittedly, she hadn't properly visited a boutique in ages. Now that she had gotten her allowance, but also someone to dress especially nice for: she was thrilled.
A smile on her face, she quickly grabbed the other girl: coaxing her into the store alongside Amanda herself. Her eyes wide with wonder.
It was amazing: truly stunning in a way Amanda thought only Kalos could provide. Walls were lined with all sorts of articles of clothing. From shirts to skirts to pants and even some of the most beautiful dresses she had ever seen. A corner of the store even held heels and other shoes: all for different cases or practically and elegance. The soft pink walls gave off a a relaxing vibe: one that easily fit with the somewhat girly design of the clothes themselves. While there was choice: the clothing all fit a certain ladylike aesthetic: it was perfect for Amanda.
She turned to the other girl: grinning, now caught up in the moment and oblivious to her Hariyama struggling to enter the significantly smaller door to the store.
''So, see anything you like?'' she giggled.

Hmm. There were shirts and skirts of all sizes, plus some elegant dresses fit for a lady. Morgan seemed a bit too occupied on those dresses as if he wanted to try them on himself. Perhaps, males do like girly stuff, but Morgan was just a seahorse. "I think some of those dresses might fit my size. What do you suggest, Amanda?" She wasn't sure if some dresses seemed right for her, but she could try one of them on for herself. It was like one of those fashion shows where a beautiful woman showcases her taste in fashion. Meanwhile, she seemed to be oblivious of a struggling Hariyama, not that she'd blamed him. His size was simply too big, but with a little shifting, he might be able to get in with ease. The store owner might be okay with a giant shiny sumo wrestler, but shopping for clothes was on the to do list today.

As the young blonde rifled through the various dresses on sale, her mind wandered towards a certain someone she liked. Perhaps she could get her a pretty dress as well, after all: given the recent events that had transpired, it would be nice.
A familiar voiced perked her up, and she turned to hear what Alice was saying. It seemed to be a request for advice: something that Amanda was very willing to do. Smiling: she pranced over to see the various clothing Alice was interested in.
''These dresses, you say...'' she contemplated audibly. Before curiously withdrawing one of them: a white mini-dress with gold trim: strangely enough decorated by a pair of golden shoulder-pads and two odd reddish eye-like markings. Although Amanda was familiar with the idea that certain Japanese clothes bore a resemblance to something a sailor might wear; indeed, some of the uniforms at the academy had that design to them: this seemed like something only a fictional character.
''How about this one?'' she joked, sticking her tongue out playfully. ''With a nice blue collar scarf: I think you could look quite dashing!''
She turned her head to inspect the shoe display: giggling as she pointed towards a pair of white thigh-high boots. ''Maybe with a pair of those, perhaps?''

And Amanda had gotten to work putting together a cute outfit that would be based on her tastes. The dress she picked out was one with gold trimmings, golden shoulder pads, and red eye-like markings. It looked like one of those sailor suits from oriental cultures, but it did look quite interesting. "That dress looks nice. And that scarf might be fitting if it was purple. Those boots would look good on me, I suppose. What do you think, Morgan?" The seahorse nodded eagerly, perhaps too eagerly. She assumed that he had some desire to see his trainer in a dress, scarf, and boots. The boutique had some nice girly clothing, though she did not wear much to actually show off her feminine side. Maybe this dress would be a good idea to show off more of that side altogether. Amanda did have her sense in fashion, so it might remedy what plainness that her uniform had shown.

Amanda blinked slowly, somewhat genuinely surprised that Alice was considering the outfit. Glancing down at her selection again, she wondered if her taste in clothing was good enough that even her attempts to be silly failed.
Of course not, that was ridiculous and she knew it. Shaking her head, Amanda shrugged and offered the dress to Alice. The fabric was nice, certainly: perhaps she could pull the look off? Else Amanda would have suggested more of a red and black color theme, going with what the other girl seemed to already enjoy wearing.
''...Si c'est ce que vous voulez...'' sighed the blonde, doing so as she realized the small seahorse seemed very interested in his trainer dressing up. It made her giggle. With a smile: Amanda leaned down slightly to face the Pokemon.
''How about you?'' She asked. ''Would you like to try something on as well?''

She took the dress that Amanda had offered and noticed that Amanda was speaking a foreign language, perhaps a bit of Kalosian. Guess that silly outfit might just work out with showing off that feminine side for a bit and the poisonous seahorse was kind of interested in dressing up, promoting Amanda to ask him if he liked putting on some clothes. The seahorse nodded in response, unaware that he could not put on human clothes. Maybe pet clothes would be a good fit for that since apparently, any classy lady loved to dress up their Furfrou in stylish makeup and hair decorations. But, Morgan was not a dog and could only try on something that would fit an aquatic animal. What kind of outfits would actually fit an aquatic animal anyway? He was only one feet tall, so maybe those extra small outfits would be able to fit. And then when he evolves, he might outgrow that tiny outfit since Dragalge were five feet and eleven inches tall which was taller than her.
