There was no sugar coating this. She needed to improve herself. Three battles with trainers that she has participated in. All of them ending in cruel defeats. To make matters worse, she has already missed her first set of classes due to set backs. Meili adjusted her hat and took a deep breathe. She was once more out here. One of her matches had it end cruelly because she didn't have any ground types.
Today, she was set out to search for one. Meili didn't care how long it took. By the end of the day she was going to search for at least a decent ground type member to protect her team from Electric attacks.

Meili continued to walk until she saw a pokemon holding a block of wood walk on by. It turned over to look over at her. She slowly took out her Pokedex to took a good look at what it is. She didn't take her eyes off the Pokemon due to how dangerous wild Pokemon can be. She did a quick scan of what its capabilities are.
A fighting type huh? Meili closed the Pokedex and started to walk away from it. It wasn't going to be of any help to her anyhow seeing as how she already has Du. She might as well continue on and try searching again.

As Meili walked she felt her feet sink a bit into the ground. She panicked for a moment before looking over to see what it was. Her eyes widened and she had to rub them for a moment just in case she thought she had dust in her eyes or she was seeing things. Was that a Diglett with a blue nose? Meili had no time to check its battle prowess. Quite frankly she needed to catch it right here and now.
"Ju!" Meili, threw one of the Pokeballs attached to her belt and her Scyther was sent out. She pulled herself out of the sandpit that the Diglett made with his ability a little to give herself better footing. It seemed like the Diglett was ready to fight as well. "Use Aerial Ace!" The Scyther flew off at high speed but before he could the bug felt the impact of a ball of dirt. Meili's eyes widened and took out her pokedex. What do you mean this is how it uses Sucker Punch?!
"Continue on and use Aerial Ace again if you can!" Ju none the less made contact with the Diglett despite the strike. Meili looked at the two empty Academy balls in her bag and reached for one. Meili looked over at Ju as she dug through her bag. The Scyther was once more struck by another ball of dust that the Diglett...somehow threw. Meili swore to Arceus that she will find out how in the world Diglett function. "False Swipe!" This time around, instead of going for a fast strike after enduring a fast one from the Diglett, Ju hit, or more, slapped the Diglett with his blade. Meili quickly threw her Academyball over at the blue nosed Diglett, hoping to contain it.
