Blanchblack Haunting [CRISPIN, CHRIS, MISSION]
|

Oleg stretched slightly as he finally reached the mansion. He had once more zoomed past the mission board during the busy hours and had noticed there was this one very interesting mission. Ghosts? Haunting? Hah, his inner skeptic was already ready to go and prove that this humanoid figure was probably only a pokemon or some freshman deciding to play tricks on the other freshmen.
Once he reached the mansion, he proceeded to enter the Mansion, deciding to stay near the entrance in case the others would come. He had no idea on who would sign up, but for some reason he had this very annoyed feeling.

The manor was easy enough to find, after all there wasn’t an exuberant amount of large creepy houses on the island. Valdis was already at his side, her now no-longer-a-stump tail waving happily behind her. He knew that, was there any actual ghosts, Val would be his best bet. Not to mention the fact that the dog was happiest at his side to cause whatever trouble she could. Besides, from their trips to the Fossil Caves she had become quite adept at lighting their way with tufts of smoke, if need be.
When he first arrived he thought maybe he was the first one there, but as he entered he saw he was actually the second. Crispin waved politely to the other student as he studied him briefly; he had a good few inches on him, and judging by his uniform he was from the Bolt dorm. Smiling he introduced himself, trying to speak a bit slowly since he learned from Tanya it would help people understand him a bit better. “'Eeloo 'dere! Looks loike we're gonna be lookin' into dis, aye? Me names Crispin by de way, oi'm in de nature dorm. It looks loike dis cud be interestin'.”
Looking around, he waited briefly. From what he had heard, there should be a third joining them. It would be rude of them to go on without whoever it was after all.

So... Ghost hunting in the old mansion today, certainly sounds like something Chris's team can handle, given the large amount of dark types on his team... This shouldn't be too difficult due to that... But... Unfortunately in is case, he was supposed to work with others... People who most likely got a clue about the layout of this place... To be fair Chris hasn't ever been in here, but the Mana dorm had been based off the mansion... So that at least gives one som idea.
Walking into the building with Dusk and Argos outside of their pokeballs, It only took a moment to figure out one of the people who he was working with... Oleg... Someone who's never really seemed fond of him... Just have to make do though. Looking down at his two pokemon, Chris spoke calmly. "You two see anything strange... Let me know... Better to be safe than sorry" Chris spoke to his pokemon... Not speaking to the actual people there at all.

To set the mood you so badly need.
The trio of young men (that would be you lot) arrived at the scene. The place was, well, about as off as it normally was. That said, it was just the sort of place you really didn't want to linger at very long. Spirits? Unsurprising. As you proceed into the depths of a corridor, light, girlish giggling reaches your ears. The sound was quick to meet your ears and quick to fade. Scared yet? No? Fine, fine. You continue down the hall, unsure of what to expect (besides, you know, the unexpected, and the dead). And then some shadows move before you.

And so begun once more the romance between Oleg's face and his palm, the two long lost lovers once more meeting eachother in a long, tender slap that to them lasted for an eternity. But alas, their romance was never to be, for palm was dragged away from face, their romance continuing to go unrealized until they would meet another fatetul day. After this tender moment, Oleg simply rolled his eyes. "Right, dark tall and edgy, and... Crespin? Crispin? Sorry, that accent's just a bit too thick. Anyways, I'll go ahead."
Oleg nodded, heading off to a corridor as he then heard some girlish giggling. Some shivers went down across his spine, he had to admit, but it was probably just some of the ghost pokemon trying to scare the living shit out of him. And then the three pokemon came. He stared at them, all of them first stage pokemon. He let out a thankful sigh as he then reached for one of his balls.
He released Waspinator the Yanma, who after a bit of buzzing around noticed the three. "Alright, use ancient power on that Sneasel!" Waspinator buzzed more, the buzzing deepening as her eyes glowed blue, before rocks appeared out of nowhere and were being thrown at the sneasel. It snarled for a moment before rushing forwards, leaping up and slashing it's claws at Waspinator. The dragonfly pokemon let out a despairing buzz.
"One more!" Waspinator returned to her buzzing, her eyes glowing once more as she this time summoned more docks, and rather large ones to boot, burying the sneasel under them.

Merely ignoring Oleg's gesture, well, face palm really, Dusk found herself sighing, why'd it have to be this person of all people to work with? I mean seriously... why this person? Anyway, back to business. As Chris and his Pokémon walked through the halls with the other two trainers and their Pokémon, they easily heard the giggling, however, despite this, Chris, Dusk and Argos all stayed surprisingly calm, as if they weren't scared at all... for Dusk it made perfect sense why she wouldn't be scared, she's more than capable of holding her own against a ghost, given her advantageous typing and moves. For Argos, he did have a move which allowed him to hold his own against a ghost. As for Chris... well... clearly, he isn't afraid of any ghost, either that or he's just putting up a façade of not being afraid (in actuality, he's not scared at all), plus, between Dusk, Midnight and Xantra, he has nothing to worry about, since ghost is one of the worst types an enemy he goes up against could be.
Upon seeing the Pokémon reveal themselves, Chris found himself smirking over at the Zorua, time for some more experience for Argos. Making a simple motion with his hand, the Growlithe began barking fiercely, visually intimidating the Zorua, who he then charged, fangs coated with flame. he bit down onto the zorua, causing it to feel quite a bit of pain, however it immediately countered, using what could only be described as a feint attack of some kind, causing Argos to recoil a bit in pain, although not enough to ward him off. "fire fang once more, bring it down as fast as possible" Chris ordered, causing Argos to bark and charge again, once again biting down on the damaged Zorua, causing it to fall unconscious from the impact of the attack.
Seeing an opportunity, Chris threw one of his academy balls at the unconscious Zorua, hoping to capture yet another dark type for his team.
(Attempting to catch Zorua)

Crispin frowned at the comment of his accent. He tried to speak a bit slower as he did to Tanya, but it seemed it didn't help much. It wasn't something he could very much help, though neither of the other trainers introduced themselves too. Well, it could have been worse, but it also meant that their friendly every day haunted house outing would probably not be as exciting as Crispin hoped. Oh well, time would tell.
"Yeh, nice ter meet yer too." Crispin sighed and patted Valdis on the head, gesturing her to keep moving. The blue Houndoom's tail drooped slightly as she cocked her head in confusion before following close after her person. It wasn't long until they heard the eerie laughter echo through the halls, and Crispin broke a grin in amusement. He couldn't pinpoint exactly where it could be coming from, but whatever it was couldn't be too far off. His mind was reeling wondering what it could be, before the shadows started to move. His companions made quick work of their team, which at least meant they were capable partners.
Taking the one left he nodded to his Houndoom, "Val, tink up somethin' nasty so we can make queck work av de sword." Valdis tilted her head curiously at the sword, eyes glowing dully as she thought up a plot to take care of the Honedge. Taking advantage of the dogs apparent 'distraction', the sword gathered shadows around itself and charged at her, slashing. Holding her ground against the weak attack, she responded in fold, opening her mouth and releasing a heavy flame that luckily only took care of the sword and didn't burn the entire house down around them.
Her tail waving happily again she trotted over to Crispin, waiting for their adventure to continue.
Houndoom used Nasty plot, Honedge used Night Slash, Houndoom used Fire Blast.

To set the mood you so badly need. After trampling over the helpless residents of the mansion, and shoving one into an extremely small container, you press onward. The next room is large, and something seems. . . off. As in, more so than usual. There were three ways to proceed, really. Investigation was one avenue. Simple progression was another. Of course, turning tail and running like cowards was acceptable, too. You're only children, after all.
Options
A) Turn tail and run (Mission Failure) B) Investigate the off-seeming room (each of you rolls 1d20) C) Proceed further into the mansion.

Oleg let out a relieved sigh as the buried under rocks sneasel decided to stay down. He then called Waspinator back, patting the ball slightly as he then headed off towards the room the hallway was leading towards. Once he reached it, he got this cold feeling. Like something was wrong here, and it was NOT just the fact that he had his back turned to mister emotional and distant.
"... I think I'll look around a bit." He talked to the others, but in a way, his own voice calmed him a bit from the creeping terror. He released Walter, the electivire looking around in confusion for a moment. "Light this place up a bit, if you could." Walter nodded, the tips of his wires lighting up, giving the room a dim light. He then proceeded to explore around.

Scratching behind Valdis's horn, Crispin smiled. "Awright pup, let's keep movin'." The Houndoom barked lightly before the two followed after the giant Bolt dormer. The next room gave Crispin goosebumps all up his arms, and he frowned as he peered around the corners. Valdis blew puffs of smoke to help illuminate the room further, and her trainer nodded over to Oleg. "Dat sounds loike a plan."
Following suit, Crispin started hunting through the corners of the room. Valdis sniffed around, not sure what she was looking for but decided to 'help' her person. Truthfully even Crispin didn't know what they were looking for, but it was possible the so called ghost was somewhere in here. It was a big room though, so who knew if they would find anything of use before something decided to jump them.

Well, that was all dealt with quite easily, especially the fresh capture of the Zorua, that's another potent addition to my team, a good special attacker is never a bad thing when the majority of your team is physical attackers. anyway, focus on the situation, Chris and his two Pokémon continued into the next room, something immediately struck Chris as being strange though... he couldn't tell what, but he had a bad feeling something was going to happen here. Sending out Sol, he hoped she could shed some light on the situation with her psychic powers.
"Sol, could you please scan the area with your Psychic? I have a bad feeling something is wrong here... or that something bad is about to happen" Chris spoke to his Ralts, who obliged and began scanning the area with Psychic, all while Chris was hoping things wouldn't go south.

So you decided to search. And search you did, for a time. And then? Something a bit, well, bothersome occurred. That is, a deep, dark mist seeped into the chamber with great speed. Before you had time to react, visibility had reached zero. After a few moment, a cacophony of laughs and screeches ripped through the darkness. The mist gradually faded. And. . . well. Let's just be honest. You really shouldn't be here right now.Doesn't take a genius to realize that things are a bit bad. Might be a good idea to, you know, run.
Options
A) Attempt to escape (each of you rolls a 1d20) B) Attempt to fight (Game Over) C) Fall to your knees and praise Prosciutto

Oleg blinked as the deep dark mist seeped in, looking around as he could not see anything. And then, the mist rolled away. Holy shit. Holy Arceus robo mecha death shit. He looked at the pokemon... Metagross's, Alakazams, Banettes, Gengars... So many pokemon! Had it not been, you know, a ghost haunted mansion along with the fact that they were wild pokemon, he might have even tried to pet them. Now, the only thing he could say was this. "... Wrong room." He then turned around, calling Walter back as he then begun to spurt his way towards the door to get out.

well... this certainly can't be good... when has everything being concealed been good? Probably never, anyway, back to being serious. Upon seeing the hoard of Pokémon, clearly that was a bit much to take on, even if you do technically have a counter to all of their types, doesn't matter if they can just swarm and destroy you. Immediately looking down at Sol, clearly she was frightened, although one look from Chris made her understand what she had to do. "Sol, teleport, get us out of here quickly" he said to his pokemon, who immediately understood and began to use teleport as Chris recalled Argos and Dusk.

Looking around behind some of the furniture in one corner, Crispin thought for a moment his eyes were playing tricks on him. He rubbed them hard for a moment before he realized it wasn't that, it was the fog choking out the entire room. Opening his mouth to call out to the others, the fog disappeared as quickly as it had come, and before he even had a moment of confusion he heard Valdis yelp from her corner of the room and run back to her trainer as fast as her long legs would take her.
Turning to see what the panic was about, his eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock. When he heard he was investigating a haunted house, he didn't expect having to worry about that many dang Pokemon. Finally closing his mouth he shook his head, running after the rest of his 'team' with Valdis close at his heels. There was no way on earth he was about to hang around here in the room from hell.
