Personality: Casper is a gentle person. He tends to be soft spoken and hasn't yet lost his temper though that is not to say he can't. He is a bit shy and introverted and really mostly just enjoys spending time with his pokemon. He will try not to instigate a conversation and will usually let the conversation come to him unless the situation demands it. He won't talk too much unless it is about a subject he greatly enjoys. Though quiet, he is not a pushover and has very strong ethical and moral standings that he got from his parents. He enjoys to be at tables alone at the libraries, cafeterias, etc. Even so, he does get lonely, but he isn't one to talk about his own problems and would rather bottle them up which leads to emotional breakdowns. He gets loud, boisterous, and will take off his glasses (Which for Casper signifies he means business). After the battle he will revert back to his usual ways as if he never acted in such a manor.

History: Casper grew up in Azalea Town. Even at a young age he was very shy and didn't talk to many people besides his parents. The only real time he was more outgoing was when his parents would take him on strolls through the Azalea Forest. It was there that Casper truly found enjoyment in nature and Pokemon. His parents noticed that he would take a lot of interest in the bug-types they'd come across more so than others. On his tenth birthday, Casper's parents gave him two Pokemon. He was given an Illumise and Volbeat that were both shiny. Casper was ecstatic and named the Illumise Juliet and the Volbeat Romeo. The second surprise was that Casper was being sent to the Gray Garden Academy. This was something he was not as happy about. His parents thought it'd be the perfect place to get stronger as a trainer and help him be more social. Sadly, he could not take Romeo and Juliet with him, but he was allowed to choose two starter Pokemon when he arrived at the academy. He chose Turtwig and Lotad.
The years that he was at the academy were pretty prosperous for Casper. He got exceptional grades, studied hard, trained hard, and researched diligently, but his social standing at the academy was left wanting. Other students knew of Casper's achievements, but no one really knew who he was. Through all the years he spent at that school, Casper really never made any friends. People only knew him as the awkward nerd, except for the times he battled. People would be shocked to see this quiet boy turn into a fiery battler, and thought that's who he was, but shortly after every battle, Casper would retreat back to his usual self and shy away from the praise of his recent victories. Eventually it came to pass that Casper graduated at the top of his class no less, and returned home. He thought he would be able to just live his life and strive for his goals but soon after that changed. While in the Azalea Forest researching, Casper was approached by some academy officials who offered him a position as one of Nature Dorm's wardens back at the academy. At first, Casper was very hesitant, but gave it some thought. He agreed to return to his Alma Mater in the hopes that he will be able to teach the residence of the Nature Dorm the importance of nature, the environment, and support-type battling. That is to say if he can get over his slight fears of social interaction.
