Aki had go some hints that there were Absol spotted near the Zodiac Ruins on the island. So he decided to check it out. After seeing Alices he thought he would try is luck and try to find one. Walking through the door way of a building he looked aaround. He was fascinated but the structure that he was standing in. They were very old ruins and they could show them many things that they wanted know about the time these building were like new. Pressing on further he kept his Pokémon in their balls. He didn't want to startle the wild Pokémon and just him, he would have better chance not then if he had a pPokémonout. Spotting a large building that was mostly intact he approached and entered it. Akihito became searching for the elusive Absol.

Aki was searching the larger room of this huge building. He heard a noise and turned around. On a pile of rubble stood a Absol, it was mejestic standing with pride. Akihito started to shake and fumble ariund i his pocket looking ffor the ball for Drago. Pulling a ball out he trough it and shouted. "Let's go Drago." But that's not who come out of the ball. It was his Skrelp, Seymour, blinking he was caught off guard. As that was happening the Absol jumped down and approached the duo accepting the challange. Aki sswitched focus not determined to catch the Absol. "Alright Seymour, let's show her a Toxic." Seymour breathed in and shot a toxic sludge a the Absol. It dodged the the attack and it the Skrelp with a Quick Attack. Seymour was hit with the attack but what happened was what Aki was hoping for.
The Absol landed afte the attack and fell in her left front knee. That had to mean that the Poison Point had hit. "Now Seymour, give her a taste of your Hydro Pump." Seymour sspun around and shot the water at the Dark type. It was a direct hit but it wasn't enough to take it down. Trying to stand but was having a hard time due tobthe poison, the Absol started to cry out like she was singing. He looked at the Absol with a puzzled look. It was a beautiful song but he kknew but had to be some kind of attack. Not wanting to take any more chances he gave one last command to his Skrelp. "Let's go with another Toxic." Seymour shot the sludge at he Absol this time hitting it. The Absol fell and tried to stand but fell again.
Reaching into his bag he grabbed a eempty ball and heaved it at the down Absol.

Shocked that he actually caught what he was looking for. Seymour let out a cry of joy and smiled at Aki. The boy walkednover and placed his hand on the sea dragon. "You did great for your first battle." It wasn'tthe pPokémon he want to use but she did he job just as well he thought. Returning the Skrelp to her ball she picked up the ball that contained his new Absol. "You're gonna be a tricky one to name. But it going to a good name." Akihito said placing he ball away. Looking around he decided that it would be best to head back to the dorm for dinner.
