Meili decided that she should get herself a psychic type Pokemon to balance out her team a little. She thought about it, analyzed her team, and realized that in terms of just types, disregarding moves, she has nothing to defend against psychic types with. Meili remembered how swiftly her Croagunk was defeated. She slapped herself in the cheeks and stretched. She has to be careful though. She only has one Academyball and she didn't get the chance to buy more.

"Better make this count..." Meili began to walk toward the ruins...hoping to find a good psychic Pokemon to add to her team.

Meili shuddered and looked over at Murkurow flying by. It landed on some nearby rock. She sighed in relief and placed the Pokeball containing her Scyther away and continued on walking. It would've been a battle in the Murkrow's favor if she sent out Ju in a panic anyhow. She decided to continue on walking further into the ruins.

...come to think of it, Meili was rather curious where these ruins came about. She heard it was once a gigantic palace. Pretty believable considering the size of the area she was walking through. It was a good thing Meili remembered the way back. She took a deep breathe and continued walking further in.

Meili walked around and shuddered and turned around to see a Duskull. Come to think of it...weren't their line known for defense? Meili realized that having an advantage of psychic type is great but she does need to cover up the lack of defense in her team. Offense is great but she already encountered those with more power than herself.

"Alright..." Meili threw out her pokeball, sending out of all things, Diglett. Now one might think she is a little nuts since her opponent is levitating. However she wanted to get some experience for the little guy that..."Saan use Sucker Punch!" She can fling the attack that frustrated her so right back at the Duskull. The Diglett summoned up a fist of dirt that somehow hit the Duskull. The ghost pokemon didn't take it too kindly.

Suddenly Saan started to shutter. Meili arched an eyebrow and took out her Pokedex. Why was her Diglett taking damage? Her eyes quickly scanned the text on her pokedex. Curse? She looked up to see that the Duskull was weary but it was more concerned with taking down her target.

"Saan use Sucker Punch again!" With the Diglett unleashing another suckerpunch on the weakened Duskull...however it doesn't want to give up. The little mole started to shudder again. Meili figured this was another attack. She eyed her pokedex stating that the move Hex was used. Saan looks to be nearing the end of the fight. Meili dug through her bag and took out the empty Academyball. She then threw it over at the skull masked Pokemon.
