Ginny wasn't uses to the heat of the inactive volcano. She would have her buddy Chester out but she knew it wouldn't be the best thing since most of the Pokemon here were fire types. She also would have her Piplup, Thadeus out but he would want to attack everything in sight and she was looking for one of two particular fire types. Ginny heard rumors that she could find a Charmander or a Tepig. She trekked up the mountain side searching for the two fire Pokémon. She had already had two of the 18 starters that she had read about. Though she didn't have any from her home region. She was going to remedy that soon but she wanted to get a fire type to round off her team. Climbing up the trail she was in her typical happy carefree mood. She was optimistic about that she will find what she is looking for. She was like that about everything.

Walking up the trail she spots a red mound laying on the ground. Upon closer inspection she notices it isn't what she is looking for. It was a Heatmor, not wanting to wake it form its slumber she slowly sneeks by it. She had some luck with her last trek out to find a Pokémon with Piplup. But she was going to keep positive and she was determined to ffind a Chamander or Tepig. She wanted to have a starter from each other regions to see what makes one better than the other. BBut to her every Pokémon has it good points. You just have to put the effort into finding them. She reached into her bag and grabbed her bottle of water and took a drink. She was wearing a pair of shorts and a white tank top but she was still sweating a lot. It had to be from the heat of the volcano and the sun. She was used to the nice cool forrest by her dorms.

Moving further up the trail she ran across a silver ant, a Durant. That was also not what she was looking for. So far this little adventure wasn't producing what she was looking for. But that wasn't going to get her hopes up on finding what she was looking for. He was determined to go back with a Charmander or Tepig. Its what she came here for and that'swhat she wwas leaving with. Ginny had a good feeling that the next one she runs into will be one of them. But if it wasn't she will try for it anyway. She knew she wasn't going to leave this mountain empty handed.

Ginny was trying to get something that countered her own dorms pokemon specialties. But she would prefer if it was a Chamander or Tepig. But instead she stumbled across a Numel, still a fire type with a sub ground type. That would mean it was going to be nothing for her new Piplup. She knew she would have to catch it off guard to not have Thadeus take any damage. Reaching into her bag she pulled out Thadeus pokeball. Throwing it, he appeared ready to fight. Spotting the Numel he didn't want for Ginny to give a command. He charged the Numel with a Drill Peck. Hitting the camel pokemon not doing much damage. Ginny shaking her head while the Numel breathed in and shot a flamethrower at Thadeus. It didn't effect the penguin. "OK Thadeus, Hydro Pump." Thadeus llistengthis time to Ginny. He jumped up and shot a powerful jet of water at the Numel. Steam rose from the ground and the Numel. Once the steam dispersed the Numel was laying on his side. Ginny quickly threw a Academyball at the downed Numel.

Ginny quickly walked over and picked up the ball that contained her new Numel. Peering at it than back at Thadeus, whowas ready to go again. "You sure are a feisty. Let's hope yyou'll be useful in my up ccoming battle with Vivienne." She said her Piplup. She was a little worn out from the heat and the hike. She was excited tthatshe had a new friend. But she didn't get what she wanted. There was always next week, she had a feeling that they were harder to find when you're looking for them. "Lets head back to the dorm and rest. We got a big day tomorrow." Ginnysaid recalling the tiny penguin back to his ball. Placing it back into her bag with the others she made her way back down the mountain toward the Nature Dorms.
