Slouching on the couch, Tanya wasn't sure what she wanted to do today. Sure she could plan for her next contest club meeting, but that wasn't happening for some time. She didn't want to think about Amanda or anything like that. She wasn't up for looking through class notes either. A part of her was just content slouching on one of the sofas in the commons, looking over towards the TV at the battles that were going on.
Could she be up for a battle? Maybe. Probably. While she was slightly content with just sitting around, she also felt dissatisfied. After all, she was the type of person that liked to do something. While normally she was spontaneous and threw herself into other people, she didn't really want to do that this time. Maybe it was because she couldn't find anyone interesting in the commons. At least for now.

Meili lied on her back on the field of grass as she took a large deep breathe. Du let out a huge yawn as well. So far, she managed to evolve two of her Pokemon...and it looked like a third time was going to happen as Du started to twitch and grow in size. She slowly got up to see her Croagunk grow into a Toxicroak. Du took a few moments to stretch and get use to her new physique.
"Good job and congra..." Meili looked to see her hat gone and then looked back to see Du laughing. "Somethings never chan-!" Meili's body felt numb and collapsed. Her eyes looked over at the dropped pokedex and on screen, Croagunk's description. Oh shi...
Meili weakly walked out of the infirmary. She glared at Du inside her Pokeball, Du only giving out an apologetic laugh. Meili rolled her eyes and reattached the pokeball to her belt. She walked over and...saw someone she was hoping to never have to see for awhile. She adjusted her black cap over her eyes. The last time she saw this black haired girl she was acting less than dignified. Welp, there was no way of sugar coating it now and running away now would just be avoiding the issue.
"Hey." Meili called out...She then sighed and took off her hat and then got her knees, bowing her head low. "I'm sorry for my behavior from the other day."

At the sound of a voice, Tanya lifted her head in the direction of the voice. She recognized the girl from before, the one who took her loss pretty badly. She felt somewhat bad, considering the team she used wasn't even her strongest team, yet was able to pretty much dominate the rest of the match. She didn't really like having matches where it was one-sided. She preferred the matches to be fair. Then again, she did like winning as well.
"It's fine!" Tanya exclaimed, smiling at the girl while jumping out of her seat. "I know how intense emotions can get in a battle. Trust me, I've been like that sometimes as well." Her mind briefly thought back to that match with Astrid, before shaking her head and chastising herself silently. Better to forget about that.
"How've you been doing since our match? You've been training hard?" Tanya asked wanting to find a way to curb her boredom. She might as well talk with this girl. It could prove to be fun and judging from how she reacted from losing, she really enjoyed battling as well.
"I never got your name. I'm Tanya."

"It's fine!" Meili was taken aback at the girl suddenly jumping and smiling out of her seat. "I know how intense emotions can get in a battle. Trust me, I've been like that sometimes as well." This was...arguably better than what Meili thought would play out in her head. At least she didn't laugh it off though. "How've you been doing since our match? You've been training hard?" Meili nodded.
"Yes, I've been training. I even managed to finally catch six Pokemon." Meili responded.
"I never got your name. I'm Tanya."
"Um...M-Meili." This was weird. Meili wasn't sure if she had as much burning hatred for this person for beating her so brutally as she did anymore. "Say Tanya. I ran into at a good time." She took a deep breathe. No doubt this Tanya got stronger too. It might end in another beat down but none the less. "Will you be my opponent in a six on six battle? I promise to hold myself to a much higher standard and dignity than last time."

"You want to challenge me?" Tanya asked, her eyes gleaming with glee. At least she found a way to curb her boredom now. Thinking about it though, Tanya wondered if she should use her proper team or use some of her less used pokemon. Though she thought about it for a second, she reckoned it would be better to ask Meili.
"Ok then! You want me to use my proper team?" Tanya asked, wondering how Meili would reply. From what she could remember, Meili had a Scyther, Charmander and Croagunk. They should be pretty easy to counter and she had a wide variety of ways to do so. She wondered how Meili would react to her pokemon as well. It might be fun to see.

"You want to challenge me?" Tanya was certainly happy. Hopefully this won't mean that Meili's party won't be a punching bag again. "Ok then! You want me to use my proper team?" Proper team?! Meili can't help but to shudder for a moment at the fact that she lost so badly to a group of Pokemon that this girl was only training casually. However...
"I won't back down." She has to face challenges and get experience, there was no other way about it. "Do we battle here though? I get the feeling this place would be wrecked..." Not to mention she got the odd image of Pen picking up the couch and hitting his opponents with it.

"If you say so." Tanya said in a warning tone, shrugging her shoulders. She did say she was going to keep in control of her emotions this time, so hopefully she wouldn't be hurt the way she did when she previously had a battle with Tanya. Plus it was another chance to use her team now that they had items. Well, most of them did. She didn't know what she wanted to give to Christopher yet, so she gave something to Christina instead.
"I don't know about you, but I personally don't want to go to the principal for demolishing the Commons. Someone's already demolished a school building and I don't want that to be a personal achievement." Tanya joked, heading towards the door before turning back to face Meili and shouting.
"I'll meet you at the Battle Dome. Give me the best you've got!"
((I'll make the battle thread.))
