The first thing you must do in order to begin hunting for Fossils is buy an Excavation Kit from the Poke Mart. It's expensive, but well worth it, considering what you can find. When going on a dig, all you have to do is make a post saying that you are digging around to find a fossil. After this post, a mod will perform a 10-sided die roll. How successful your dig is depends on what it is rolled. You are able to do a digging post every two weeks, renewing every other Sunday.
1-6; You find a random item.
7-9; You find a Pokemon Fossil.
10; You find a Pokemon Fossil and a random item!
If they roll an item, then they will do another roll. Depending on what they land on, you may receive any of the following.
1-5; You find Stardust (can be sold at the PokeMart for 1500 credits)
6; You get a Mega Stone (chosen at random)
7; You find a small metal box, holding two pieces of Rare Candy. The candies, thanks to the box preserving them, are still intact and okay to eat.
8; You find some battle equipment.
9; You find a TM (chosen at random)
10; You find a Nugget (can be sold at the PokeMart for 5000 credits)
