Personality: Jett is a pretty serious person and a man of few words. He usually doesn't show much emotion and you'll rarely see him smile. He never gets angry or annoyed and talks in a level calm voice. This doesn't mean he is rude or boring to talk to, in fact if you can actually get him to talk...which is rare, he actually is quite interesting to talk to. Raised by a librarian he spent his childhood reading tons of books and became quite the genius at a young age. He tends to keep to himself, studying and reading and just lost in the depths of his mind. He can be quite critical of himself and is quite the perfectionist. He also has cases of OCD and sometimes it becomes too much for him and he'll end up locking himself in his room for hours. He's not the best with social situations, or making friends, but he has been trying to be more outgoing.
When it comes to Pokemon that's a different story. He relates more to them them than humans. When he's around them he becomes a totally different person. He becomes less serious and he even smiles, and sometimes you can see the light come back in his eyes. When in battle he's quite the strategist and will take alot of time to think things through instead of attacking instantly. Even if his statagies fail he stays humble and learns from his mistakes. Jett puts up a wall and doesn't let anyone in, that doesn't mean he will never let his guard down. One day someone might be able to bring out the real him that is deep inside.

History: Jett was raised by a single mother and had a pretty simple upbringing. His mother was a librarian and he spent most of his days in the library reading every book he could get his hands on. He was homeschooled so didn't have any friends, so reading was the only friend he really had. He was very interested in Pokemon and read every book about them that he could. Though his mother never let him have his own, fearing that he would get hurt. From a young age he began showing signs of major OCD and because of this potential friends thought he was weird and tended to avoid him. After awhile he stopped going to the library and just stayed in his room to avoid his OCD. His room was filled with books so he was happy just staying there.
Jett's mother began to worry about him. He didn't talk to her much and she feared that he would grow to be a hermit or something of the sort. To get him out of the house and out into the world she decided to sign him up for Gray Garden Academy. She felt getting him around other students that liked Pokemon as he did would be good for him. She hoped that it would bring him out of his shell and perhaps help with his critical thinking and OCD. Jett didn't reject it and agreed to go which was surprising. His mother didn't question this though and Jett was sent off to the academy. Hopefully this will be good for him, only time will tell.
