Aki let out a sigh of relief, the flinch took but did nearly no damage. He had no other move and was delaying the inevitable. There was barely any damage done the Bronzor and Missy was nearly gone again. He could use rest and recover but that would make this battle even longer. He did say that he could be here all night. Nodding at the statement that Tanya made about her Bronzor.

"Steel/Psychic I'd a good typing. I've got one psychic type and I'm happy with just that." Then he pondered if he should go out and find another psychic type. He was happy with his Espurr, but he hadn't battled with her yet. "Yeah, I heard about the library. Though I still dont understand why anyone would wreak such a good place to be." Aki said as he had finally came up with his next move. "Missy, Rock Slide"

One more attack hit, which was basically like trying to punch your fist against a wall and expecting results. Flect didn't take a lot of damage and stared forwards, its face emotionless. "Knowing Oleg, I have a feeling that destroying a library really wasn't something he'd think of" Tanya admitted, raising her arms and making a dismissing hand notion. "It's not like he's a delinquent or anything."

"In any case, Flect, use Extrasensory." Tanya told the Bronzor, letting it do its thing while Tanya continued to talk to Akihito. "Do you have a favorite type?" Tanya asked, the question on her mind when he said he was happy with his psychic pokemon. "While I'm not sure if I have a favorite as per se, I do really enjoy Normal type pokemon. They're really versatile and have one weakness and an immunity. Unfortunately, they don't have any type that they're super effective against."

Action: Flect used Extrasensory!

The move did do what he wanted it to do and he paid he price for it. Missy started to teeter back and forth after the Bronzor used Extrasensory again. He had a chance to use Rest again but he knew that this battle had gone on long enough. There was a chance he could've won if the blasted Bronzor didn't have the double Iron Defense. Though in a way Aki was glad his Nosepass was knocked out. Not the fact she lost but that they could move onto the his final pokemon.

"Before I send out my final Pokémon. I'll answer your question" He said returning Missy to him. "Psychic isn't my favorite type. Its Dragon, I have five of the type at the moment and hopefully I'll have more. My goal is to be the worlds best Dragon Trainer and foremost expert on them." Aki said reaching for his Pokeball. It wasn'ta dragon type but know he had wish he brought one of them. "Let's see how you do Ophelia" Holding his pokeball out he clicked it twice. Seconds later a purple and pink feline stood on the field. It looked around and let out a meow. Looking up at the Bronzor it started to shake, it was visually scared. "Alright Ophelia, just like we practiced. Confusion"

Tanya let out a sigh of relief when she realized that the Nosepass had been knocked out. "A Dragon Tamer, huh?" she asked rhetorically as he sent out his final pokemon, an Espurr. Using Confusion on the Bronzor was about as effective as Nosepass's attacks and Flect barely looked harmed by the attack.

"Flect, Confuse Ray." Tanya stated, letting Flect send out brilliant orbs of light to confuse the Espurr. "You know, I'll have to admit that if you did Rest up and the battle continued on as such, you probably would've won." Tanya told Akihiko, smiling amusedly at him. "It probably would've taken a hell of a long time though."

Action: Flect used Confuse Ray!

Staring at Tanya as she made her rhetorical statement about him becoming a Dragon Tamer. Yes, he didn't have a Dragon type with him in the battle. If he had it would've been a better battle and he would've have to basically give up. He was going to play it stupid and let her thing he made the right move. He just wanted to battle to end. When the confusion didn't take he feared the worst for Ophelia. He had seen what Heavy Slam did to Penelope and it wouldn't end well for her either. But the Bronzor used Confuse Ray. Ophelia watched the balls of light come toward her. She tried to dodge them the more she tried the more confused she got. Aki sighed and face palmed, he was getting very frustrated at the Bronzor.

Now his Espurr was confused and he didn't have a why to do any real damage to the Bronzor. So he try I'd to the same move again. Hoping that she would hit even though she's confused. "Ophelia, try another Confusion"

"Get out of here Flect." Tanya said, returning Flect to its pokeball. In its place, Tanya sent out Wally, who promptly yawned and plopped on the ground. It was then he was hit by the Espurr's attack. In response, he didn't do much. It wasn't like the attack did that much damage anyways due to his decently high Special Defense. Flect didn't have the best offensive stats and she wanted to get some experience for Wally as well.

"Sorry for changing, thought this would make things easier." Tanya admitted, shrugging her shoulders. "Apologies for the battle as well. Wasn't expecting a Nosepass vs. Bronzor fight anytime soon." Hopefully they could get this match done soon. She could tell that Akihito was getting frustrated. The facepalm told her that much.

Action: Flect returns! Wally is sent out!

Just as Ophelia was going to attack Tanya withdrew her Bronzor and called out a Munchlax. The Confusion but the Munchlax but it didn't do much more damage than it would've done to the Bronzor. This was unexpected by Akihito, he thought she would try and finish off his Espurr, but it was clear she wanted her Munchlax to gain some experience. Sighing he watched the confusion wear off of Ophelia. She was doing OK for her first battle, but she wasn't going to do much damage to the Munchlax named Wally.

"That's quite alright, we never know what type of match ups were going againstuntil we get into battle. Even with trainer we have battled before." He said getting ready tto call out another move to his Espurr. "Ophelia, try another Confusion." The Espurr eyes lit up using its psychic power to try and confuse the Munchlax.

Tanya watched as the attack tried to hurt the Munchlax, but didn't really make that much of an impact. Wally just did what Wally did best, sitting around and watching his opponent with a mixture of blankess and mild amusement. She probably should've expected Munchlax to be lazy, but she never realized that they could be THIS lazy.

"Body Slam." Was all Tanya really had to say, watching as Munchlax pushed himself up and ran towards the Espurr, launching himself at the pokemon when he got close. "Is that Espurr Male or Female?" Tanya asked, having accepted that conversation was going to happen a long time ago. "I've heard their movesets and abilities change depending on their gender."

Action: Wally used Body Slam!

It didn't confused the Munchlax again. It was going to be unpleasant for the Espurr. Ophelia just watched as he Munchlax stood after Tanya said 'Body Slam'. Akihito knew this wasn't going to be a love tap from the Munchlax, he heard they not only had high defense also decent attack as well. All Aki could do was watch his poor little Espurr get pummeled by the blue bear. She hit the ground hard and slide a few feet. Letting out a small meow she slowly rose to her feet. Taking a deep breath Aki had to make a decision, he made it quick and called out the move. "Confusion again"

The Espurr psychically attack the Munchlax. "Its a female." He said puzzled then he heard her next comment which made the question understandable. "A Espurr has the same attacks male or female, though when it evolves into a Meowstic, that's when the genders have different abilities and move sets. They even look completely diffent. I believe they are the only Pokemon that has such a drastic difference betweens genders" It was good that he knew about the Espurr line. It was his favorite Pokémon besides his Dragons.

"Just goes to show I need to do more research." Tanya sheepishly admitted, smiling wryly as he corrected her about how Meowstic were. "It is interesting when pokemon are different. One that comes to my mind is Spinda, where there are like loads of different spot patterns that can occur. Though not as obvious as Meowstic, I still think that's pretty awesome." While this was happening, Munchlax tanked another Confusion hit, righting itself up and looking at the Espurr.

"Body Slam." Munchlax went on the move again, thrusting his body forwards and damaging the Espurr once more. "When I came to this match, I wasn't expecting to have a conversation. Now that it happened though, I don't really feel bad about that happening." She was acutally enjoying this conversation, even if the battle was a bit of a slog. She guessed that was how things worked.

Chuckling slightly as he heard that she needed to do more research. He couldn't help what his mom did for a living and that their 'pet' is a Meowstic. The move that Ophelia did barely did anything and failed to confuse the Munchlax. He knew that the next attack would end the battle. The only thing could was watch the Munchlax slam into the feline for the last time. Hitting the ground the Espurr let out a meow and collapsed. Returning it to her ball he looked across the field. "I would actually call this a success, wouldn't you. I had a fine time chatting with you. Hopefully we can chat again, next time not in a battle format." Aki said placing Espurrs ball into his bag. He was out of Pokémon aso that meant Tanya was the winner. "I congratulate you on your victory. It was a long, long battle but I do not regret any minute of the experience. Until we meet again" Aki said with a bow then turn to leave the field.
