Inside the Dragon’s Den, there seemed to be some Pokemon she did not catch at the latest opportunity, so she might want to catch something that was not of her specialty type. Namely, something electric might be a good idea to use against some of the faster flyers. The dragonfly hovered beside her as she looked around the cave. It made sense that she would’ve liked to make the den her home, but sadly the Vibrava rather liked the company of her trainer more than going home. The den seemed to have some dragon Pokemon inside, but rarely did they ever come out unless she was looking for them specifically. Not today though, she was looking for some electricity to blend in well with her team and this was probably the place to find those kinds of Pokemon. After all, Sekhmet could probably use the experience that she would get to evolve soon into the stronger Flygon.

At first, they did not hear anything out of the ordinary and then, the air started to get warm. While the smell of burning ash was concerning, there seemed to be a wild Pokemon nearby. And there seemed to be that accursed fire ape again and perhaps, the ape herself had been wanting revenge for not being caught last time. Actually, the ape did not notice her yet which was a good sign. However, that fire ape wasn't what she was looking for at this rate. The trainer and her Vibrava quietly sneaked past the Darmanitan without a word and looked around the cavern elsewhere. Luck had been running out for her after a streak had produced some of the Pokemon that she wanted. Perhaps, Lady Luck was being a fickle mistress and just playing with the trainer's pickiness with certain Pokemon. Even so, she was not giving up empty-handed as there were still interesting Pokemon to catch on her behalf.

After leaving that fire ape, the air began to grow warm....again. There seemed to be another Fire type nearby and by the look on her Vibrava's expression, it wasn't going to be good this time. They pressed on further until they saw a fiery duck and it was the evolution of Magby. Something had told here that this Magmar wasn't the electric sheep or magnetic robot she was looking for. The Magmar could tell that she was not interested in him either, so he walked away. That left one more spot to look for something before returning home. Luck wasn't going to help her today either, so she might as well try to catch something that might pique her interest. The dragonfly hovered beside her trainer and she wanted to make her feel better about the downsides that she had been experiencing anyway.
Pass on Magmar

Walking further into the cavern, it seemed as the den had gotten quiet after those last two encounters, but something was amiss. Immediately, a crackling of electricity could be heard and the duo soon found themselves face to face with a Magneton, the evolution of Magnemite. The dragonfly immediately wanted to battle with the magnetic robot, so she glared at it. ”Start with Earth Power, Sekhmet!” The dragonfly’s body glowed gold as she summoned a pillar of earth to attack the magnetic robot and the robot itself recoiled in pain. The Magneton formed a triangle as a fiery flame, beam of ice, and a bolt was released from the triangular formation and it hit the dragonfly, causing her to fall to the ground from impact. The Vibrava had gotten back up and was angry that it had attacked her. ”Again, use Earth Power!” The angry Vibrava unleased another pillar of earth to attack the Magneton and the robot became weakened from the attack, but nonetheless survived from it due to its Sturdy ability. The Magneton released a beam of steel at the dragonfly and she was thrown back from the impact.
”One more Earth Power should finish it off!” The dragonfly unleashed another pillar of earth and it was over. The Magneton fell down on the ground and she threw an Academy Ball at the magnetic robot before the poor dragonfly would get hurt even further from it. The Vibrava seemed to be exhausted from the ordeal, but she had made it out alright with some bruises here and there.

Success! You caught the wild Magneton! Feel free to add it to your PC and remove the Ball you used from your inventory.

After the usual wiggling of the Academy Ball, it stopped and the magnetic robot was caught. The Vibrava was quite tired and needed a rest, so she returned her back inside her Academy Ball. Picking up the Academy Ball that contained the newly caught Magneton, she released it outside where it looked around its surroundings before it stared at her with blinking eyes. ”Hi Stephano. We should probably get home and patch up Sekhmet’s wounds. She must be pretty tired.” The Magneton blinked, but otherwise agreed with escorting her home in order to protect its trainer from wild Pokemon attacks. After all, other wild Pokemon might try to attack the Mana Dormer, but he did have a good moveset, judging by how he displayed his moves in battle. After going down the waterfall, they went back home into the Mana Dorms.
