It's Still A Forest (Mod)

Durin was close by and Pippa was starting to walk without Tanya having to carry her around. Pippa didn't like the forest too much and stuck close to Tanya, fearfully looking around at all the trees. On the other hand, Durin bristled his fur, as if challenging anyone in the forest to try and defeat her. Seeing the two of them next to each other was like comparing night and day and she couldn't help chuckling at how things had turned out.

Still, she wanted to explore the forest and get some more pokemon. She thought about the sheer number of pokemon in her PC. A part of her wondered if she should hold back. At the same time though, she couldn't help but add more pokemon and allow flexibility in her strategies. It was fun.

"Stand down." She whispered to Durin, noticing the Scyther that was in the distance. Tanya wondered if she should catch her. It was a pretty strong pokemon after all and it evolved into Scizor, which was ridiculous on a whole 'nother level. After thinking about it for a while, Tanya couldn't help herself. The opportunity was just presented to her.

"Pippa, try and Toxic the Scyther." Tanya said, encouraging Pippa forward. Looking hesitant and constantly looking back towards her mother, Pippa eventually spat out a purplish liquid towards Scyther, dissipating into smoke when it got closer and harshly poisoning the Scyther. Glaring at Pippa, the Scyther flew towards her and was about to attack her.

"Get back Pippa, Corey take her place!" Tanya commanded, Pippa bolting towards Tanya as she sent out her Omanyte to take the attack. Getting hit by the X-scissor hurt, but Corey managed to hang in there. Pippa on the other hand was harshly clinging to Tanya.

"Ok Corey, use Rock Blast!" Tanya ordered, Corey firing off rocks at the Scyther, each of the rocks inflicting heavy damage. He only managed to fire off 4 though and the Scyther was still standing. Running towards Corey, he attacked with X-scissor again, the fossil pokemon getting extremely weak but still standing. At this point though, the Toxic took effect and the Scyther got knocked out.

"You did a good job Pippa~" Tanya coddled, picking her up and holding her close. Pippa clung to her, slightly scared, but happy that she was getting praise. While this was happening, Tanya got out a pokeball and threw it at the Scyther, hoping to catch it.
