Being brand new to the academy you would think Jett would be exploring and making friends. Yet that was the total opposite of what he was doing. After dropping his things off at his room, he headed into the living area, found a secluded alcove away from the others and took out one of his favorite books. It was something he had read a thousand times, a book about the origin of Pokemon. He could probably just close his eyes and read the book from memory but he loved the scent of its old yellowed pages. Something about reading such an old book made him happy, even though from the outside he wouldn't show it.
Luckily not many students even came over here, they were more interested in the tv and video games, things he usually kept away from. His eyes darted over the pages, and in minutes he already had a good chunk of the book done. Being raised by a librarian made him become a fast reader, and probably faster than most. He'd probably have the book done by the end of the night, only to read it again.

Oleg snored. It was a unusually silent one for him, but it was still a snore. Then another. Slowly but surely his right eye had opened. Then his left one. Slowly but surely the whole of his head rose from the corner of the Alcove. Oleg had wrapped himself in a bed sheet, staring around for a moment as he reached for his glasses. Where had he put them again?
He then noticed the boy reading. He hadn't probably noticed the slightly moving ball of clothes that he had been in the corner. He yawned a bit. "'Sup." He tilted his head.

Jett's ears caught the sound of something in the corner near him but he ignored it, too into his reading to even care. Yet when whatever it was spoke he didn't really have a choice. With a sigh he closed the book silently, and set it down on the table. He had thought this space would be void of any students but he had been wrong. His cold eyes glanced over to see someone wrapped in a sheet who looked as if he just woken up. How had he not noticed him before? His brows furrowed at that and he felt the pit of his stomach cringing. He tried his best to push back the feelings of his OCD and took a deep breath. "Hello." He kept it short and sweet and just stared at the blonde student with a level gaze.

Oleg furrowed his brows for a moment. The guy didn't look that bad, honestly. Or well, he couldn't see most of what he looked like and all, but the point was still there. Just something about his voice seemed a bit weird to him. A bit cold, maybe? Or maybe he was just too dozed out to really understand tones. After a moment of fumbling about he finally found his glasses, putting them on as he then rose up from the blankets.
He could easily be described as a strange sight. Very tall and imposing, but in another way very... Unthreatening. Could be the fact that he had a friendly expression on his face.

Jett stayed quiet, just observing the student as he put on glasses and got up. He wasn't really sure about the guy. He was rather large and intimidating, yet had a kind face so it was hard to really pinpoint the kind of person he was. Jett's aqua colored eyes calmly stared at the guy as they both went into silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, and he wondered if it would turn into some sort of staring contest. He didn't want to come off rude, after all he was new and his mother would be disappointed if he didn't at least try. He wasn't ready to change who he was just yet, but he'd give it a go. Slowly he stood and extended a strong hand. "I'm Jett Castiel, just arrived today. And you are?"

Oleg stretched a bit before grabbing the hand, giving it a very sloppy yet strong shake. "Oleg. Oleg Kirrlov." He then tilted his head back for a moment, thinking for a long while before speaking, scratching his morning shade as if it would help him think better. "I've been here for... Months? Yeah, months. Maybe two or three, not exactly sure."
He then let go of his hand, looking around for a moment before slumping down onto one of the free chairs. He yawned again, looking around for a moment before nodding to himself, as if he had just confirmed something.
