Trying to avoid the mistakes she did on her first day, Noelle woke up early, and walked all the way towards the beach, trying to make mental note of all the landmarks she passed by. Initially, her plan was to go to the volcano, and try to capture a fire-type as her very first catch, but was deterred by a sign warning her to have water-types in her possession, or at the very least a water-type wielding friend. Because she had neither at the moment, she changed her course, in the search for something she could catch at the beach.
"Do you see anything, Skye?" Noelle called out to her Taillow, who was gliding along the beach, in search of something. Anything, really. Skye squawked softly, in disappointment, not really having much luck in her search. She slowly flew back to her trainer and perched herself on her shoulder.
"Aww. Don't worry. We'll find something soon." |
