Personality: Under normal circumstances she isn't very active or engaging. Not that she is lazy its just that she won't do stuff that she doesn't need to be done or that is clearly someone else job for no reason. Even though she might help a new student around. When tempted she will react, however. It's rare for her to see her back down from any kind of challenge and if she does she usually has a good reason for that. She doesn't engage talk with guys quickly. She really hates herself for it but she never was good with guys and will only talk with them if necessary. This also only seems to be for humans. With male pokémon she is perfectly fine.
That and Dark types seem to scare the hell out of her. She never knew what caused this as it has been this way since she is born. While bigger or stronger Dark types scare her more, some fear is visible with small dark types. She attempted many times to overcome this by deliberately seeking dark types out but it usually ends with her running off and screaming like she just saw the devil himself whenever a fully evolved or otherwise strong dark type appears. It is really strange why this happens only with dark types as other similar types like ghosts do not trigger this.

History:Born in Fortree City, Mio had a relatively normal life even though she lived her entire life in a prettied up tree house. Even though it wasn't that big and sometimes even downright dangerous she didn't even care one bit. Of course when she was little her parents had to make sure she didn't fell of the walkways high above the ground. She usually spend her childhood days playing with friends or pokemon around the village. As long they weren't dark types. Memories still live in the village of the one time wandered a little to far from the village and accidentally encountered an Absol. The result was that she came screaming because she saw a scare beast while the pokemon in question didn't do anything except showing itself.
She was doing many things when growing up. Like fishing and trying to capture a Feebas, without any success. To sneaking out at night to find wild dark types to overcome her fear, with just as much success. She really enjoyed flying on riding on the back of a large pokemon though. But she would never do that without consent of the pokemon in question. Doing so was not only rude, but also dangerous as it was way more likely to throw you of its back then actually letting you ride. She learned that the hard way, luckily she only broke her arm which healed slowly but surely.
Her father was a researcher at the weather Institute west of the city. Her mother usually kept the house clean but also took care of a garden full of apple trees. Which could be quite the bit of work at certain times in the year. Especially if apples were ripe to be plucked. Eventually they heard of a School opening East of the region. Mio didn't knew anything better to do and didn't really wanted to travel like most trainers did. Maybe if she was a little more experienced with pokémon. Most likely she would gain some experience there? That was what school was for right?
