Natrual Ability [Battle vs. Adriel

The last battle she was in was against her friend from the Mana Dorm, Alice. She had narrowly won when Ginger her Charmander used Fire Blast. This time she wasnt to be facing someone from her own dorm. She hadn't met everyone that she lived with in the Nature Dorm but who she had was pretty nice. Making her way into the arena she had her Quilladin Chester next to her. It was not going to be easy, but she was going to give it her all. She had already picked out her team but she wasn't sure if they were going to give her a victory like last time. Though winning wasn't the reason she battled, gaining the experience of the battle was the reason. She really didn't like to battle, but it was a necessity to evolve her team. Registering her team she had Chester sit in the stands until they were done. She made her way over to her side to waif for her opponent.

Adriel had come out for a battle, and she was rather pleased to end up facing off against such a cute girl as her opponent. She had chosen her three Pokemon ahead of time, two of which she had never used in battle before, so she was especially looking forward to trying them out for the first time. She had high hopes for one of them in particular, due to the rather wide range of attacks she was capable of learning. Sure, she wasn't exactly intimidating. As for the other, she wasn't that strong yet, but she had potential. Hopefully, it wouldn't take long for her to reach that potential.

Either way, she readied for battle. Two of her other Pokemon, her Roselia and Golurk, sat off to the side in order to cheer their trainer on. She didn't dare let her Magmar out right now, otherwise he'd just be bitter that he wasn't getting to battle. Maybe some other time. Either way, she decided on her first Pokemon and nodded, immediately sending them out "Alright Schizo! You're up first!" Tossing a Poke Ball onto the battlefield, her Doduo emerged in a flash of light. His two heads argued for a moment, but with an annoyed look from Adriel, they straightened themselves out and readied for battle. From there, Adriel nodded. "Alright, cutie~! I'm ready when you are!"

Ginny turned her head toward the door when she heard it open. She saw a really cute girl walk in with two pokemon that were clearly at their final stages or at the very least not basic. When they moved to the stands she sighed looking across the field she couldnt help but stare at the girl. She was the cutest girl she had ever seen. Her heart began to pound then she saw that Adriel had thrown out her first pokemon, a Doduo. She could throw out Stuart but he would be trampled quickly. SK she decided on who she was going to throw out. But what the girl said made her blush a bright red and forget who she was going to bring out. Grabbing a pokeball she thought she grabbed the right one. "Come out Ginger" But Ginger wasnt the Pokémon that was standing on the field. It was her Pichu, Stuart, he looked around and saw the Doduo. "Um... well... This is awkward." She nervously laughed scratching her head. "That's not Ginger, that would be Stuart. It seems I grabbed the wrong ball." Ginny said. "No going back now. I'mready" She blushed again as Stuart got ready. This was his first battle.

Adriel watched with amusement as the other girl became flustered. Now that she was getting a good look at her, she was pretty sure she had seen her around the dorm before. So she was facing a fellow Nature Dormer eh? Well, that didn't really matter at this moment. An opponent is an opponent. However, she couldn't help but stare blankly as she apparently sent the wrong Pokemon out. Crap...that wasn't her fault, was it? If it was, then she would have had no problem with letting her switch to the one she wanted to use. But, she insisted that she was ready. Either way, Adriel had no intention of holding back, mistake or otherwise.

Thus, she took it upon herself to start the battle. "Pichu may be small, but it's still an Electric-type. I shouldn't underestimate this one. Schizo! Use Uproar!" Both of the Doduo's heads nodded, and proceeded to stomp the ground repeatedly and let out a series of loud yells. This resulted in a shockwave of sound being launched at the Pichu. From there, Adriel waited quietly, hoping for the best. Even if it was only a baby Pokemon, her Doduo was still at a disadvantage. If they're not careful, this opponent could be quite the annoyance.

Stuart was ready for a fight, his fur jolted with electricity. Ginny smiled seeing that her Pichu was ready for the fight. The girl was also ready with an attack. She commanded her Doduo to use Uproar. Has the twin headed bird started to stomp, squawk and do what the move was called cause an Uproar. Stuart was bothered by the move, though through the noise Ginny called out an attack. "Stuart, let's try a Thundershock." The Pichu focus and shot a bolt of electricity at the Doduo. Ginny hoped that the bird would become paralyzed from the attack. Because if the Doduo kept it up any longer Stuart won't last very long. "By the way, names Ginny!" She shouted across he field through the noise of the Doduo.

Adriel watched quietly as the Uproar hit the Pichu, dealing some pretty decent damage. However, the small Electric-type wasn't going down just yet. At the command of his trainer, he retaliated with a Thunder Shock, and her Doduo was hit with the jolt of electricity. Luckily, however, he was able to avoid getting paralyzed by the attack, which was Adriel's main concern. Not being able to move in the middle of a battle would be really bad, especially against an opponent who had a Type advantage. Either way, the Doduo shook himself off after the attack. He still had plenty of fight left, but he wasn't going to be able to withstand too many of those.

Of course, it didn't quite matter what she did right now. At the moment, the two-headed bird was locked into using Uproar. Thus, another sound-based shockwave was launched at the Pichu after another bout of stomping and shouting. Hopefully, Having Schizo use this attack wouldn't come back to bite her in the ass. Either way, when she heard the other trainer introduce herself over the din being caused by her Doduo, Adriel smile. "Nice to meet you! I'm Adriel!"

Stuarts attack hit the Doduo hard but he came back. Ginny knew that her Pichu wasn't going to take the Doduo do before hr went down himself. She was just hoping that she would get the paralysis on the bird before she had to switch. But with the attack not going the wah she hoped it would she prepared herself to bring out her next Pokémon. After Stuart settled after the Thunder shock he was blasted by another round of the Uproar. With that attack it caused Stuart to be knocked out. Sometimes she didn't understand how some attacks worked but that wasn't the point at the moment. What was was her Pichu had fainted and she need to replace him. Recalling Stuart, "Great job Stuart, rest up."

Switching out pokeballs she threw her new one. "This time I'll show you Ginger." With a flash of light a female Charmander appeared on the field. "Ginger, use Fire Blast" Ginger breathed in deep and let out a blast of fire toward the Doduo.

Adriel smiled as the Pichu went down, marking a win for her Doduo. She still felt a little bad about being so rough on the small creature, but there were probably people watching this battle, so she couldn't afford to go easy on the other trainer. That said, these feelings instantly went out the window when Ginnifer proceeded to send out a Charmander as her next Pokemon and attack with a goddamn Fire Blast. It wasn't the most accurate of moves, so it had a tendency to occasionally miss at vital moments. But when it hit, it hit hard, something that Schizo had just learned the hard way.

The two-headed bird was down. "Good job, Schizo. Go ahead and get some rest." Smiling softly, she returned her Doduo, then weighed her options; though, in all honesty, there was no choice. Plus, it was on now. "Alright! Panzer, you're up next!" She tossed a ball onto the battlefield, and out came a Remoraid, who looked ready for action. Apparently, while they were naturally more at home near Water, fish-like Pokemon had limited hovering capabilities on land. Even if they weren't as agile as they would have been if they were in water, it was still good to know. Either way, Adriel didn't waste any time. "Panzer, use Bubble Beam!"

The small fish nodded, releasing a large, rapid-fire stream of bubbles at the Charmander. From there, Adriel watched on, waiting to see what Ginnifer and her Charmander would do next. All in all, this was turning out to be a fun battle so far.

The Fire Blast hit the Doduo, making hit faint. Ginger jumped and cheered that she took out the Doduo. Ginny giggled at the Charmander, she didn't know if she was happy because the noise was gone or that she knock it out. All Ginny knew, her pokemon are happy. That is one thing about being a trainer, making sure your Pokémon are happy. Watching as Adriel recalled her Doduo and sent out her next one. This time it was a fish, it hovered there for a moment. Ginny took her Pokedex out and scanned it. It was a Remoraid, she had never seen one before. Soon after the girl told it ti use Bubble Beam on her Charmander. A jet of bubbles shot out and hit Ginger. It being a water type move and comming from a water type it hit hard. Ginger was on the ropes But she was hanging on.

"Hang in there Ginger." Ginny called out to her Charmander. She had a lot of love for each band everyone of her Pokemon. She didn't like to see any of them in a situation like this. But this was a battle and they knew what it took to become stronger. "Ginger, let's give them another Fire Blast. Give it all you got")." Ginger with every bit of the strength she had left prepared her next attack.

The Remoraid was quite pleased with itself after the Charmander was hit with her attack, and Adriel wasn't exactly complaining either. However the Charmander proved to not be that easy to take down, and retaliated with another Fire Blast. Normally, Adriel wouldn't have been worried. After all, Remoraid was a Water-type, so Fire-type attacks only did half damage. However, this just so happened to be one of the strongest Fire-type moves known to trainers everywhere. On top of that, she was pretty sure Blaze, Charmander's ability had kicked in, making it that much stronger. The attack landed, dealing a heft chunk of damage, but she managed to hand in there.

With a nod, Adriel called out "Let's finish this! Use Rock Blast!" The Remoraid nodded. In front of her, multiple stones were materialized from seemingly out of nowhere, then launched at the Charmander in rapid succession. Hopefully this would be enough to take out the opponent...that Fire Blast was a dangerous move.

Seeing that the Fire Blast did a lot more damage than it normally would do. Ginny wasn't as skilled as other trainers on the abilities and such but she just went along with it. She wasn't too thrilled on battling but she knew her pokemon loved to so she did, for them. She thought she had this one won until Ginger was hit by a rock type move from the Remoraid. Ginny was taken off guard, she knew about weakness and she knew Charmander was weak against Rock. After getting hit five timed with the move Ginger tried to stay on her feet but it was too much. "Fantastic job Ginger, rest up." She said recalling the Charmander.

She was down to her last Pokemon. Until know it has been a pretty even match. It was fun, but she wasn't wanting to go. She wanted to get to know this cute girl. But she couldn't get the nerve to say something. She pulled her last pokemon out and threw the ball. "Let's go Regina." With that a Vullaby landed on the field and chirp ready for battle. "How did I luck out and get to battle with such a cute girl? " She said blushing a deep red. She couldn't believe she had just said that. With a crack in her voice she spoke. "Regina let's use a Brave Bird" The Vullaby flew toward the Remoraid at a very high speed.

Adriel let out a sigh. She wasn't particularly surprised when her Remoraid went down, especially after that Fire Blast she took when the Charmander was still out. Not very effective, my ass. Letting out a sigh, she returned the Remoraid, then looked at the opponent's Pokemon...crap. "...well, looks like I've pretty much lost this one. But at least I'll go down fighting." With that, she sent out her third and final Pokemon; a Petilil. For obvious reasons, this was a bad match-up on her part. Made even worse by the painful realization that she really should have taught her some better moves before jumping into a battle with her.

Nevertheless, Adriel refused to go down without a fight, and the Petilil, sensing her trainer's feelings, was equally determined to give it her all. "Alright, Flora! Give it all you got! Use Mega Drain!" The small Grass-type nodded, an orb of light-green energy gathering at the tip of the leaf on her head, which is then launched at the Vullaby in a thin beam. It was a fairly weak move, and it was being used against an opponent that resisted Grass. Chances were fairly strong that it wasn't going to do a whole lot of damage. But, all in all, it was a fun battle.

The Remoraid fell, Ginny was in shock that she might actually win a battle. She won against her friend Alice, but she felt really bad for that win. She hated to see friends upset and she knew it upset Alice. But she barely knew Adriel but she was in the same dorm as Ginny. So Ginny did feel something for beating her. But it was a close battle, even though it was in Ginny's favor most of it. Adriel sent out a Petlil named Flora. Regina looked at the grass type and tilted her head. Ginny started to notice that Regina was started to get a mean streak.

After her opponent gave her Petlil the command to use Mega Drain. That confirmed that this battle was over and that the next move from Regina would end it. "I had a lot of fun battling you. I would love to hang out some time. Say coffee or lunch sometime." Ginny said before she commanded her Vullaby. "Regina, another Brave Bird." She commanded, the Vullaby didn't waist anytime to start the attack.
