Tristan took a good look around at the battle dome that he found himself in. It was large enough to accommodate a multitude of arenas, and it apparently had live feed into the Commons. At least, that was what Tristan had heard. He was sure of the first part, but he didn't really see anything to verify the second.
Still, that wasn't why he had come here. He had needed a wide open area to let his pokemon roam, but he also needed it to be somewhere that he knew they couldn't get away. Tristan had come to see if the Battle Dome would fit the description and he hadn't been disappointed.
He released all of his pokemon from their little pokeballs before having a seat. How do these guys fit in here comfortably? he asked himself. Surely something ingenious, but still. They need to be able to move around in the outside world for a little bit.
Still keeping an eye on his pokemon, Tristan found himself wishing he had someone to talk to. Sure, he loved the sounds of his pokemon playing together, but there was never any reason that a one-on-one conversation shouldn't happen.

There was the possibility that there could be some battling at the battle dome or maybe not. While the commons itself was bustling with students trying to fit in with the popular group, she wanted to be somewhere where all of her Pokemon could feel at home. And the large arena could be a place where her new Aerodactly could roam freely without him being a nuisance to anyone who was scared...of pterodactyls. Upon arriving, she could make out that someone else was already there and there were a bunch of Pokemon that were playing while he watched. Releasing Aero from his Pokeball, she watched as the avian pterodactyl seemed to soar freely within the air before flying back to his trainer. There were empty seats to actually watch what Aero was doing, so she took a random seat while Aero seemed to soar in the air again, delighted that he was able to enjoy the fresh air.

Tristan turned from watching his pokemon and saw a girl approaching. He looked at her black uniform and down at his own. So... She must be in Mana, right? he though to himself. He stood and stretched before walking over.
He stuck out his hand and gave a smile. "Hey. My name's Tristan," he said casually. I'm currently a member of Mana Dorm. I have to say, though, I wasn't expecting anybody else to be here too." He then took a look at the flying pokemon. "Would I be too terribly wrong to assume that you're in Mana Dorm, miss?"

That boy seemed to be polite enough. "Well, that's right. I'm in the Mana Dorm. And it's a pleasure to meet you, Tristan. I'm Alice." She shook his hand with a smile of her own. The avian pterodactyl had been curious of the other boy's Pokemon as he hovered next to her. Now would be a good time to actually introduce the entire party to the baby hatchling she had acquired from breeding class. It would be okay with the hatchling as he needed to learn who his teammates were. "I was about to introduce the hatchling to Aero. I think Aero may be a good babysitter for him." Aero snorted, but otherwise agreed to actually babysit the hatchling. She released the baby Absol from his Pokeball where he glanced at the Aerodactyl with a child-like curiosity. The avian pterodactyl looked at the Absol before he turned to his trainer. "Aero, this is Kazuya and Kazuya, Aero's your babysitter." The Absol happily greeted the pterodactyl which was a pretty cute sight, considering that he was a baby.

Tristan watched the flying pokemon go and explore his own group of pokemon. Shortly after this, Alice released a pokemon she called Kazuya. The flying pokemon was called Aero. Those are some cool names, Tristan thought to himself. He considered the appeal of naming Pokemon. He understood, but it didn't really resonate with him. Only with special circumstances, he told himself.
Tristan saw Alice's two pokemon meet each other and smirked. It was adorable, to say the least. He then turned to his own contented pokemon trying to interact with Alice's in varying ways. He looked at the other trainer with a growing smile. "Good to meet you and your pokemon too, Alice. So what brings you out here?"

"I'm just relaxing here. Though the battle dome might not be an optimal place to relax at some point since the building is only suited for battles. How about you?" Though the two had only just met, a good conversation with small talk might be an option. The avian pterodactyl was currently chatting away in Pokemon speak to the baby Absol. It was nice to see how the ancient fossil Pokemon had adapted to the modern times and actually became a good teammate to the others. Oh wait, the others might need an introduction to the baby hatchling, but Aero would do just fine. It was actually odd that the breeding teacher had sent an Absol which was a Dark type and therefore, fitted with the Mana Dorm's choice of starter Pokemon. Dark types were something that her Litwick and Honedge were weak to, but he would fit in with the rest of the Pokemon that cannot evolve.

Tristan looked at the pokemon all gathered together with a smile. He turned to Alice when she asked him what he was doing there as well. He was there for partially the same reason as she was, but with one major difference.
"I'm here," he said calmly, "to relax and give my pokemon an expansive environment to relax in. I figured that since people battle here, there should be more than enough room for my crew to stretch their legs." He grinned for a moment before going on. "Besides, there was a chance that I might catch a battle. I figured I might see some tips."

"I don't think I've ever battled before except for wild Pokemon battles. I used to watch the ace trainers back at home battle it out with some trainers from other cities. But, Aero's done a great job in helping catch some rather difficult Pokemon." So, Tristan had wanted to see some tips for a battle. While the ace trainers back home could give out some tips to new trainers, there were other trainers at this academy that might have done a battle or two. The boy's team looked like it was strong...sort of. It was just like her team where most of her Pokemon needed evolving to get stronger. She had been planning to evolve her Surskit once there was a battle in order and the others will follow suit except for the Pokemon that can't evolve. Besides, Masquerain might be a good Pokemon to use since it used Special Attack pretty well and had good Special Defense.
