On her side of the field: Amanda stretched casually in her gym uniform: drawing a few cracks from her stiff limbs as she loosened up. It was a strange thing for her, to be preparing her own body for a battle her Pokemon would face, yet: advice had been given to her that it would clear her mind. Sure enough, the more limber she felt, the more clear her mind seemed to be, almost as if it all served a strange sort of ritual. With that finished, she smiled: turning to face the Pokemon she intended to battle with, all three ready to give their best. ''Good luck to you all!'' She stated, producing her Pokedex and checking for any last minute ailments. Even though this was a mere practice battle, she wasn't going to let her Pokemon start sluggish. Fortunately, to her satisfaction: they seemed to be healthy. With all the pre-battle preparations finished, Amanda turned to face the opposing side, ready to battle. Present Team:

Adriel's Team Ah, the Battle Dome. This place was becoming a home away from home for the Nature Dorm student. That is, if one can consider a dorm their home at least. Adriel did, but, then again, she was a fairly simple-minded girl. As long as there was a bed and a roof over her head, she'd come to call anywhere home once she'd been there long enough. But all of this is beside the point. Eager for yet another battle, she entered stepped up to the field, pleasantly surprised when she saw who her opponent would be. "Well then. This ought to be interesting~"
She had chosen her three Pokemon for the battle, and she wasted no time in getting herself ready and sending out her first Pokemon. In a flash of light, her Remoraid appeared onto the battlefield, ready to battle. "Alright Panzer! Let's give it all we've got!" The Remoraid nodded, and the two waited to see who Amanda would start with first.
Summary - Adriel sent out her Remoraid, Panzer!

Amanda smirked, enjoying a quiet moment of amusement at who the opponent was. Certainly, she had never quite expected to battle Adriel, but the surprise of it all did not pose any problems for the Kalosian. It was just another opponent she could try to beat. ''I'm surprised to see you here, Adriel.'' Amanda called out, gesturing quietly for one of her Pokemon to take the field. As she tapped a few buttons on the Pokedex, the device beeped in preparation, signalling the trainer to the first match-up. It was a simple enough situation, for Amanda. If Adriel was so keen to use a Pokemon of the water type, then... Amanda sent out Blitzle!
VS''I don't doubt you can beat me in a fight, but let's leave this one to our Pokemon. Seeing as you are so cute, I'll even let you have the first command!'' The blonde called out, mentally preparing herself for the battle.

When Adriel saw the Blitzle, she blinked. Everything about it screamed "Electric-type" which registered as a big "NOPE" in her mind. If the Remoraid had any moves that would let her go toe to toe against an Electric-type, she'd consider keeping her in the battle but her versatility made her too important to lose this early into the battle. As such, she returned the small Water-type, then immediately grabbed another Poke Ball and tossed it out onto the field. "Alright Flora, let's go!" On cue with Adriel's words, a Petilil appeared onto the field, readying herself for battle. With that, Adriel nodded and waited to see what her opponent would do.
Summary - Adriel switched her Remoraid out for Petilil!

Amanda frowned, crossing her arms. ''I expected more from you, Adriel: than simply swapping your Pokemon around for a positive match.'' She taunted, letting out a sigh. ''Mais, I'm not particularly inclined to allow my darling little Blitzle to fight your plant, it certainly seems like it wouldn't be fair...''
With a small gesture, Amanda signaled her Pokemon to retreat, bringing in her Duskull.
''Let's see how you can fare against my... loyal...'' Amanda leered at the Duskull, daring him to do anything inappropriate during the battle. ''...Butler... perhaps this will probe for a more interesting fight, non?''
Action: Amanda swapped Blitzle for Duskull!
''Now then... come at me!'' The blonde challenged.

Adriel blinked as Amanda switched her Blitzle out for one that she didn't recognize. It was kind of cool-looking though. Maybe she'd try and catch one later on. Regardless, it was now time for the battle to actually start. No doubt those watching the battle were getting a tad impatient with the constant switching. Thus, it was time to begin. "Very well. Let's take the advantage while we still have the chance. Flora, use Sleep Powder!" Almost immediately, the Petilil nodded, and a cloud of sleep-inducing pollen is released from her body, aimed at the Duskull.
It was a boring but practical strategy, and one that Adriel was beginning to appreciate. Putting the opponent to sleep, forcing them to either switch or tough it out until they wake up and hope the damage they take while they're unconscious isn't too bad. A bit cheap? Perhaps. But Adriel was here to win, and she had no intentions of holding back, no matter how cute or sexy her opponent might be.
Summary - Flora used Sleep Powder!
Sleep Powder: Grass-type; Status. Has a 75% chance of putting the opponent to sleep.
tSV|kZsH1-4 1-3; Sleep Powder works.
1-3 If Sleep Powder works, this die roll will determine the number of turns the opponent will remain asleep. If it misses, then feel free to ignore this. 1-4·1-3

Amanda grinned, watching intently as the plant doused the field with sleeping spores. Certainly Adriel couldn't possibly think such a maneuver would work? Ghosts dominated special effects and status abilities, and sleep powder only had a small chance of actually affecting the enemy Pokemon.
Proudly, Amanda placed her hands on her hips, studying the field. ''Alright, Alfred, use...'' It was that moment when the blonde realized the Pokemon actually had fallen asleep. The trainer slapped her own face in frustration, unwilling to believe the sight in front of her.
''Alfred! Ce que le diable tu fais?'' Amanda shouted, the noise somewhat stirring the sleeping Ghost. She panicked, knowing that by the time her Pokemon would awaken, the opposing Pokemon would be able to attack again.
-Duskull was sleeping, how rude! Skipped the turn!-

Adriel couldn't help but grin as the Duskull fell asleep, leaving her wide open for an attack. With a nod, Adriel called out to her Petilil, eager to take advantage of the fortunate circumstances. "Excellent Job, Flora! Now use Energy Ball! Give it everything you've got!" The Petilil nodded, a large amount of energy gathering at the tip the leaf on top of her head. Once gathered, it formed itself into a large glowing orb, which was immediately launched at the sleeping Ghost-type Pokemon. Adriel watched quietly, hoping that her Petilil's training paid off. She wasn't very strong before, but, now that she actually has some good offensive moves, she'll be hopefully be able to hold her own this time around.
Summary - Flora used Energy Ball!
Energy Ball: Grass-type; Special. Base power of 90; accuracy of 100%. Has a 10% chance of lowering the opponent's Special Defense.
FRVoEB821-10 If the die lands on 1, Duskull's Special Defense goes down one stage. 1-10

''Réveillez-vous, vous crâne flottant paresseux'' Amanda shouted, stomping her foot in anger as she tried in vain to awaken the still-dizzy Duskull. To no avail, he seemed lost. For a moment, the girl wished she could simply walk over to her Pokemon and slap him from his stupor, only: for the thought to be quite literally blown apart, by the sudden yellow-green burst speeding towards the ghost. Grunting, the Pokemon attempted to shift to the side, in some half-aware chance of dodging it. Yet, it was too little and too late, the energy ball connected: the small Pokemon flying into the wall. Amanda grimaced, waving the dust from her eyes as her Pokemon drifted away from the wall. Now fully awoken from the force of the blast, he floated: awaiting an attack command. Yet, the energy ball had left it's mark: Alfreds mask had cracked further from the pressure, providing less natural defense than before, at least until it could be given time to heal. The blonde pointed at the Petilil: the target. ''Alfred, use Ice Beam!'' She ordered. Duskull used Ice Beam! Ice Type! Special! Base Power 90! Super Effective! Roll 1-10 for Freezing Effect, 1 = Frozen! gLnaJLt|1-10 1-10
