Dressed extra heavily, Adriel wandered through the icy caves curiously. Ironically, the cold didn't bother her all that much, despite her initially thinking that it would. Of course, between the volcano and the toxic bog, this was far more preferable. Besides, she'd take cold over hot any day. When it's cold, you can always pile on more layers of clothes. In hot weather, you can only take off so much before you get arrested for indecent exposure. So yeah. She was perfectly fine for her.
As for why she was here...well, that should be pretty obvious. She was searching for an Ice-type Pokemon, naturally. She was on a mission to obtain at least one Pokemon for each of the 18 Types. So far, she had Grass, Poison, Ground, Ghost, Normal, Flying, Fire, Water, Fighting, and Bug covered. As such, Ice seemed like the most logical choice, since this area would undoubtedly have plenty of them to choose from. As such, she continued to wander around keeping an eye out for anything work catching and adding to her ever-growing team.

Adriel blinked when she noticed a Spheal waddling around. After watching the weird Pokemon for a moment and looking it up on her PokeDex, it was decided. It was adorable and she had to have it. Ice and Water, though. That was a tricky combination. Ice was weak to Fire, but Water was strong against Fire, so her Magmar might not fair well against the creature. The vice versa applied for her two Grass-types, Roselia and Petilil; Grass was effective against Water, but not Ice. In fact, the only Pokemon she had who wasn't at some sort of disadvantage against this Pokemon was her Remoraid, another Water-type. Thus, she chose to go with her.
Sending out her Remoraid, Adriel nodded. "Quickly Panzer! Use Charge Beam!" The Remoraid responded immediately, opening her mouth and shooting a beam of electricity at the round Pokemon. Naturally, it was super-effective since the opponent was a Water-type. The Spheal glared at the Remoraid, who encased his body in ice and began rolling rapidly toward the small fish. Thankfully, however, the damage was minimal, due to Water-type's resistance to Ice-type moves. With a smile, Adriel called out once again "Excellent! Use another Charge Beam! Another beam was fired, only this time it was a little larger. As it turned out, the first attack had raised Panzer's Special Attack, making the move stronger.
The Spheal come rolling toward the Remoraid, moving even faster than the first time as he struck the Water-type once again. Adriel had no clue what this attack was, but it reminded her a lot of Rollout. Maybe it had a similar effect. If that was true, then she needed to end this quickly "Quickly! Use Charge Beam one more time!" The Remoraid complied, and while the second attack didn't result in another boost, the damage from this attack was more than enough to make the Spheal break out of his icy shell and collapse. With a nod, Adriel grabbed an empty Academy Ball and tossed it at the Spheal.
Summary - Panzer used Charge Beam! It's super-effective! Panzer's Special Attack rose! - Wild Spheal used Ice Ball...it's not very effective. - Panzer used Charge Beam! It's super-effective! - Wild Spheal used Ice Ball...it's not very effective. - Panzer used Charge Beam! It's super-effective! - Wild Spheal fainted! - Adriel used an Academy Ball!
