The legendary couldn’t take on the second assault, the many poison and steel attacks were far too much for the Lifebringer to handle. Defeated, Xerneas laid down, glowing for a short while and springing back up, recovering from the amount of damage done to its body. The lifebringing buck soon stood back up, gnawing at its fur, pulling out a small red dart and spitting it away. With a nod to the group, Xerneas lowered the thorns, running off from the group, then galloping back with a smal stack of discs in its mouth, dropping them near the leader of the group, the Lifebringer then went off to do whatever defeated Legendaries do.

Bryce was never expecting anything of this variety to occurr. He had only planned a simple game, a way for him to witness firsthand just what skill was being brewed on his grounds. For them to successfully drive away a legendary? This was unheard of, yes they had outnumbered the Lifebringer, but if it were just one of them taking on the regal beast, he was certain that they would have proved just as successful. Trying his best not to seem over excited the Headmaster coughed, "Very well done!" he congratulated. "I would have never thought that we would have found a legendary Pokemon on our grounds but you have proved even more of a much for an enraged Xerneas and for that you deserve a reward." The man pulled out a cell phone, sending a message, and flipping it closed. "Soon, there is going to be a survey of sort given out to the entire student body asking what you and your fellow students would like for a social event." he sighed. "It was a shame things didn't go as planned, but I'm sure this experience was enough for you all." He hoped that the other students had not run into similar problems, this just might have been a planned assault. "Akira, I must head back and inform the other groups of what may be happening, I trust a Warden as capable as you can properly dismiss the students." he smiled, "Well then, thank you for having me along, but I have business to take care of, I hope you all make it safely to your rooms."
