Name: Eva Valeta Valentina
Nickname: V
Age: 15
Date of Birth: 11/23
Birthplace: Cinabar Island
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Face Claim: Mariko Kusumi - Persona 4 Golden
Distinguishing Features: Her ears have been pierced and she decorates them with a pair of gold studs.
Height: 5'6"
Character Type: Student
Personality: V is plagued with sight of others who she believes to exist even though no one else cans see them. They have been her best friends for as long as she can remember. Taking her on adventures, leading her to pokemon nests and caves nearby her home, and teaching her how to be an amazing seamstress. The ones she listens to anyways, the others are mean, they tell her to do things that always get her in trouble, but their voices always change, everyone of them is always different, and since she can talk to them while no one else can, she always repeats the same mistakes. Getting her into even more trouble.
V is an introvert who has a hard time talking to others, despite her claiming to have many invisible friends, and being a rather sociable person. When put in a social setting, she tips her hat over her face and slinks away, drawing her next design when she feels safe and somewhat alone. It isn't that she is afraid of people, she just doesn't know how to talk to them. Communication has always been a problem for V, people would ask questions, reveal a small part of themselves to her, and she was supposed to follow suit. The idea of he secret becoming known, of yet another person questioning her, ridiculing her for what she sees and hears. She just can't take even the thought.
V is a gullible girl, borderline childish. Believing anything anyone tells her to be the truth. After following what the voices have told her for so long, its hard not believing what anyone else tells her. It only takes a little to grab the girls attention, whether it be thread, candy, or something else to distract her for a few minutes. Though she is gullible, she isn't an idiot. She has some sense of right and wrong, and won't do anything that will obviously cause her personal harm.
She has always been astounded by clothing and accessories. Her mother was a fashion designer, and with the help of her Flaafy, had made many wonderful articles. As a hobby she's started drawing her own designs, aspiring to be as good as her mother and though she isn't skilled enough to sew her own clothing, she has found that she can mix and match clothing to suit her own styles and often keeps said pad close to her.
Likes: Drawing, Being an adventurer, Horror and Suspense, Being alone, the thought of friends
Dislikes: Fighting, Disagreeing, Being indebted to another, repetition
History: V, for as long as she can remember has only had one parent. Her mother, Victoria Valentina, a successful woman who chose her career in creating clothing for the world to wear. Ever since she was young V remembered watching her mother's artistic process, and she couldn't be anymore enthralled with her mother's work. She showed as much care and attention to the designs as she did her own young daughter. Watching her mother at work soon became a daily thing, when her mother went to work, she would follow. Shadowing her mother and her steps. There was a goal now, becoming as good, if not a better designer than her mother.
When young V entered elementary school things were rough for her. She had a hard time making friends, and would often hide herself away. The teachers just saw it as her being a shy girl, which she was but with it just being her and her mother at her house, she didn't very well know how to approach anyone else. Much less hold a conversation with them.
As time passed, V had approached one of her teachers of an old lady talking to her. The teacher, knowing how small kids were, brushed it off as though she just had imaginary friends. She notified Victoria of the occurrence and advised her to have V play with others her age outside of the classroom. The mother, wanting the best for her daughter did such, though the small girl had told her that there was more of them, and no matter where they went they wanted to talk with her because she could see them.
Her mother grew worried not knowing what to do. Could her daughter actually see spirits? Some Pokemon have always been known to have connections with those that have passed, but a human girl? Could that actually be possible? Victoria decided to wait and see, that maybe this was just a phase that would pass.
Years went by, and V entered her teenage years, still plagued with the voices with those that have passed. Every time they told her to do something, she would always come to her mother on whether or not she should do it or not. Some of them were small requests like visiting a grave, while others were borderline wrong. Some of these requests often included stealing. Something Victoria tried her hardest to tell her impressionable daughter that some of these voices did not want her wellbeing, they only wanted what was best for them.
Victoria could tell that socially, her daughter was behind. How could she fix it though? She was only one person and her daughter only had one person as well. What could they possibly do? Her high school advised that she learn about Pokemon, that maybe there was a Pokemon out there that could help her in coming to term with the spirits. It was an extreme proposal, but after years of inactivity it was all that was left. Arming her daughter with a custom made purse, hat, and cell phone, the two had a sad separation, her daughter sent on a boat to Harmonia Island, while her mother stayed on Cinabar Island, hoping the best for her daughter.
