So maybe Mio got a little to much away from the academy. Just like she passed this branch about a five times at least... Yea she was lost. She had to find her way back, but it did seemed like she did have some time left as the sun was still up in the sky. It wouldn't be that bad if there was something to mention. Maybe as she walked she could meet some pokemon? Wait... She had an idea. Maybe she could capture a pokémon here and try to capture it. That was brilliant! That pokemon would surely know the way right?

She kept walking and she met no wild pokémon whatsoever. It was like they all had fled form this area. It was really strange she didn't saw any wild pokemon... or wait... What moved behind her. Mio turned around just in time to see something disappearing in the sand. What was that... She would swear she just saw something blue disappear in the sand. Then it rose up above the ground.
A small shark, like creature with jet like ears appeared. It was unlike any pokemon she had seen. She took her pokedex and it answered "Gible: It nests in horizontal holes warmed by geothermal heat. Foes who get too close can expect to be pounced on and bitten." Does that means it's a ground type? hmm... When she last checked her team balance she noticed she would have trouble dealing with steel types. A ground type would work very well to that. Still... Why is such a small creature here alone. Well, no time to think about it. Let's see what her new friend could do. "Go Max!" And the Fairy type came out. So the fight would start! "Max use Play Rough!" Max nodded he heard the order and it seemed to smile a bit? Maybe Max liked that move? Well good for him then. It charged straight at the Gible and started to fight with it. It did exceptional damage for some reason? Why did it hurt the ground type so much?
The gible reacted angrily by Trying to attack Max with her claw, but despite it clearly looked like some kind of attack it didn't to anything. This was strange, What could cause Max to overpower the Gible that hard? She would do some research on Gible later, now it was time for the finishing blow. "Max, use Ice Fang! Max bit the gible with ice and it seemed to work unnatural well, even for having type advantage it did exceptional damage. The Gible could barely stand. "Max! That's enough! Good work!" She shouted asking the small pokemon to stop. She Then quickly threw an academy ball in an attempt to capture to severely wounded creature. She didn't think it would survive long in the wilds with those wounds.
