The Light of My Life [Amanda]

It had been a while but Seria decided she would treat Amanda out for a surprise picnic. But not in the forest this time, but rather in the Garden of the Sun, the flowers there were a spectacle to behold. Seria found a part of the garden that was easy to find, as it was marked by a huge tree that was actually not very far from the main pathway to get here. Seria was holding a picnic basket containing a mixture of things she prepared and things she brought herself. The basket was shut and a picnic blanket was neatly folded and placed on top of it. She looked around and waited for Amanda.

Seria had invited Amanda here simply under the premise that Seria had a surprise treat for her. Hopefully Amanda would appreciate the gesture, and they could more properly catch up on things and hopefully spend more quality time with each other. The sun was nice out - not too bright and when it did get bright the clouds obscured most of the light. Overall the weather was great. The perfect time for a picnic.

Amanda dropped her phone into her purse, looking around with some degree of confusion. Seria had told her about a special surprise, and the premise was interesting enough to draw the blonde from her usual business. She had since made her mind to be more considering of Seria, and the time she needed to spend with the other girl.

Unfortunately, for the life of her: she could not find the place Seria had spoken. A few more minutes of standing around lost, and Amanda finally gave up: releasing her Kirlia. The Psychic Pokemon stared intently for a moment, before she pointed to her trainer the direction to go.

Amanda smiled, thanking the Pokemon as she recalled the small Psychic, happily bounding down through the trees. Sure enough, it was not long until she found a landmark: the huge tree Seria had told her about, and beneath it, Seria!

Amanda grinned, waving happily as she rushed towards her girlfriend, keeping a hand over her face to shield her eyes from the bright light. Seria had told her the name of this place: The Garden of the Sun.

It was appropriate.

Seria had been waiting patiently under the big tree for some time now but eventually she saw a familiar figure beginning to rush towards her from the distance, and it was not long before Amanda's beautiful face came into view. Waving, Seria smiled brightly as her now-blonde hair billowed in the breeze that suddenly washed over both her and Amy when she got closer. "Bonjour, ma peche!" Seria giggled once Amanda got into ear-shot. "I've prepared somewhat of a morning banquet for you, dear." Seria said happily, unfolding the picnic blanket and laying it out on the grass, sitting on it and preparing the picnic basket.

Inside were a lot of various assorted sandwiches, mixed with some fresh fruits and pastries. She made all the sandwiches herself, made of various ingredients. Some were simple ham and cheese, but others were more extravagant ones like a club sandwich. The fruits were mostly berries and grapes with the occasional apple and banana there. And the pastries, meant for last, were purchased from a cafe and composed of mostly muffins, though there was a conspicuous smaller golden box inside that Seria would save for very last.

"That gold box is for you, but don't touch it until I say so, okay, dear?"

Amanda blinked, somewhat taken aback by the sight before her. At first, she had thought it had been a trick of the light, that Seria seemed unusually light-haired. Yet, as her girlfriend drew closer still: it dawned on Amanda that something was indeed very different.

Seria was blonde.

Ladies, normally: are taught not to stare. It isn't a polite thing to do, and this was something Amanda knew all too well. Yet, for all her desire to be ladylike, the young Water Dormer simply stood there, hardly even comprehending what Seria was saying to her. Some part of her mind registered words like ''peche'' and ''banquet'' but any value the words may have had: were lost on Amanda.

''Seria... you are blonde...'' Amanda muttered quietly, unable to stop staring. Never in her life, had she imagined Seria with yellow hair, and the surprise of it all left Amanda oddly speechless. Seria looked good.

"Well, I dyed my hair recently, sweetheart. I wanted to see if I could... Try to make you a part of me, younow, in spirit, I want to be able to show that I love you very much. Therefore I dyed my hair blonde so my hair could be just like yours." Seria said, smiling warmly and inviting the Wave dormer to have a seat next to her on the picnic blanket. Seria noticed that Amanda was staring, but ahe didn't seem to bothered by it. The girl figured that Amanda was just a bit shocked by Seria suddenly dyeing her hair like that. "What do you think, dear? I hope it doesn't come as too much of a shock, love." Seria continued, looking at Amy. When her girlfriend would sit next to her on the picnic blanket, Seria would proceed to gently wrap an arm around her to try and cuddle with her.

Seria loved Amanda very much, despite some of the latter's recent actions some of which Seria may not even have known about. But that was alright. Amy was still human. She was perfect enough for Seria.

Amanda nodded slowly, staring still as she sat down next to Seria, hugging the other girl tightly. She merely continued to look at the new hair color, silently ignoring everything the other girl said. It wasn't that she was intentionally trying to ignore Seria, she simply couldn't get past the new hair color.

Rather, she couldn't get past how well it looked on Seria. Thoughts blazed through her mind, contemplating potential plans to take Seria shopping. If her lovely flower was willing to change her hair, why not shopping for new clothes? Or maybe a trip to the salon, it could be so much fun.

Overwhelmed with passion, Amanda leaned close, kissing Seria deeply on the lips. Her eyes closed, she allowed the kiss to linger for moments, feeling like it was practically forever. Finally, unwillingly: Amanda broke the kiss, opening her eyes to look at her friend once more.

''You look amazing...'' Amanda finally said, breaking her silence.

Seria felt Amanda's arms around her, and she felt so warm and fuzzy inside, relishing those romantic feelings once more, that feeling she missed so very much. Eventually with Amy's silence it was clear something was grabbing her attention. Probably was the hair. Seria had dyed it for her but she had no idea it would enchant her this much. Smiling warmly, Seria was about to speak further before Amanda leaned close and kissed her deeply on the lips. As Amanda's eyes closed, so did Seria's once the realization sunk in, and the Nature dormer gently clung to her girlfriend, savouring the romantic kiss. After what seemed like an eternity, Amanda reluctantly pulled herself away and the two of them saw eye to eye.

At last, Amanda broke the silence by softly exclaiming how amazing Seria looked, which elicited a dark blush from her. "So do you, dear. You also look amazing as always..." Seria said, smiling warmly and keeping her arms now wrapped around her lovely, beautiful girlfriend. "This is all for you, dear. My new look, this picnic... I want to make you happy."
