With her new excavation kit in hand, Sonia decided to venture into the fossil cave that she had heard about at the shop. So far she had tried her hand at catching Pokemon and picking berries. Now she would get to do a bit of excavating. How interesting. The only thing left would be fishing, but then again, she had done more than enough fishing at home. She could do that any time she wanted with her new fishing rod.
Once she entered the cave, she looked for a good spot to start digging. Surely this wouldn't be too hard, right? She took her Pokemon out to help her find stuff and hopefully speed up the digging process. A fossil Pokemon wouldn't be bad to find. But maybe she'd find some treasure as well? |

Sadly, you do not have a jar of Joltik. You did, however, find a jar of Stardust.

Sonia decided to make another run into the fossil cave in hopes of digging up something impressive. Her last run didn't turn up anything noteworthy, especially considering there were things worth even more than the digging kit that she had purchase; and the kit was quite expensive. Like last time, she had her Pokemon help her a bit with the heavy digging. It was much easier with a full team, unlike the last digging trip where she had barely half a party. Maybe they would get lucky and find a fossil this time? Or maybe they'll find something even better? Actually, what could they find that was even better anyway? |

After two trips to the mining place, Sonia still hadn't found anything worthwhile yet. This place had fossils, right? Then why the hell was nobody finding any fossils? Well, her at least. All she found was some stupid dust, which admittedly was worth a lot more money than she thought. Even still, the girl had hoped for something better. Fossils were cool. Maybe there was even something that she could use on her team? Though, she was doubtful. If something went extinct, it was probably not very good at fighting. That was how she chose to rationalize their extinction, anyway. |

It was time for Sonia to finally get back into mining. It had been a while since she stopped by to try her luck in the mines again. Her last run turned out to be quite fruitful, managing to find two things, one being a fossil. That said, the girl was quite hopeful this run. She was expecting even greater things than last time, even. That said, the girl began to dig furiously; full of hope that something would be dug up sooner or later. Her Breloom Roundabout helped, being quite small. He wouldn't damage the objects like her bigger Pokemon would. And so, the duo dug until they couldn't any more. |
