Goal: Golett, Spiritomb, Honedge. But mostly Golett
"Poke balls, check. Musclemon, check. Bag, check." with a nod, he roared "Off we go!" Jogging off to the Zodiac Ruins. It was time for his first act as a student in the academy. Chucking a ball at the unsuspecting face of a pokemon which he desired, so that he could muscle it up and became the next member of his very own Musclemon Faction, which he so cleverly named. Moving in was a bit of a bother since he didn't have a roommate yet, but the hardest part was only hanging the sandbag. Bright side is, he doesn't have to worry about anyone trying to move his weights around. Upon reaching the Zodiac Ruins he was surprised to find the place incredibly dark. Like seriously, couldn't this school afford to lighten this place up? It shouldn't be too hard to have some electricity in here. Though as much as he would like, instead of continuing his fit of complaining he took out his pokeball and released his Chimchar. "Hey buddy, why don't you help me lighten this place up?"he asked. The monkey Pokemon nodded, walking alongside it's trainer, its bright tail flame their source of light for the expedition.

As the duo delved deeper and deeper into the dark ruins they noticed a bluish light off into the distance. Curiosity began to take hold of young Cameron, he approached the light. Only to find a small Litwick who hadn’t even noticed him. “Hey!” he shouted at the pokemon to get its attention, the wax candle pokemon turned around and game the towering trainer a confused stare. Not knowing what else to do, Cameron stared back. “Is this what conveying your feelings through a look means?” He thought as he continued his staring contest with the candle pokemon. Only a few seconds passed until Cameron grew bored with their silent exchange and continued on his way. As he passed by the pokemon he noticed it was still staring at the spot he left. “Litwick are stupid.” He declared, earning a nod from his Chimchar.

After his meeting with the stupid Litwick, Cameron could feel the air beginning to get chillier. Enough so that he zipped up his jacket and began rubbing his hands together for more warmth. “G-Geez, who turned on the A.C.?” he joked. There was something off about this obviously, he had heard a superstition that when in the presence of ghosts, they sometimes bring along with them freezing airs. Maybe this was such a case? Excitement took over, and in a rush of adrenaline Cameron took off. This was definitely a sign of a pokemon flexing its muscle at the novice trainer, and he would respond in kind.
After about ten minutes he realized that he didn’t know where he was running to, the cold subsided though so he must have passed it somewhere.. “I guess I should have looked around first.” He said. “Guess I can start here.” He added. With the help of the small Chimchar’s light the job shouldn’t be too hard. As he looked along the walls of the ruins, he noticed a sheathed sword, hanging free of any hook or holding on the wall. Trapez was noticeably on edge as his trainer started to examine the short blade. There was something about it that just pulled him towards it. He began to run his hand along its sheath, then upwards towards its hilt. As he got closer to its peak, he could see the strap on the hilt begin to snake around, reaching for his wrist. At this sign Trapez sprang into action, firing a warning flame at the sheathed blade.
Knocked out of his daze, Cameron fell backwards away from the blade. What once was a sword in a finely decorated sheath, now floated a Pokemon with a lone eye and its sheath in its hand-like ribbon. The Pokemon glared menacingly at the two, Cameron, knowing the language of fighting more than any other language, shook his fist at the wild challenger, “You wanna tussle, eh!?” he shouted at the Pokemon. Trapez jumped in front of his trainer, his flame growing brighter with the tension. “Oh yeah, I’m supposed to use you to fight this thing.” He remembered, earning a questioning glance from the Chimchar that awaited an order. “D-don’t worry! I knew that! Just keeping you on your toes is all.” He said trying to play off his previous blunder. “Alright Trapez, Let’s try uh… Nasty Plot!” he ordered, looking at his dex for a reminder of the Chimchar’s known moves. The chimp Pokemon snickered, thinking of something that raised its morale and increased its Special Attack considerably.
The Honedge, tried to take this chance to attack, It dashed towards Trapez slashing with such speed that made the attack unavoidable. Trapez, no Chimchar weren’t very known for their defenses so the attack hit hard. “C’mon, muscle through it!” Cameron cheered. The Chimchar shook its head, trying to lessen the pain of the previous attack. “Let’s go, Flamethrower!” he roared, with a deep breath, Trapez let loose a giant stream of flames, no doubt powered up by Nasty Plot. The Honedge was engulfed by the powerful flames and when they subsided, it was left on the ground, motionless. “Okay!” Cameron cheered, with his first victory against a wild Pokemon it was only customary that he try and catch the Pokemon. Taking a ball from his pocket, he chucked it at the Pokemon with as much force as he could muster. With a soft clink, the ball bounced off of the blade, and engulfed it in a shining red light. With a good job done, he began to make his way back to the dorms before his Warden caught him past curfew.
